Jay POV
I waited for Nya the next day to arrive to school. Kai and their parents were the only ones who knew of our new relationship status.
Nya came racing up the stairs as soon as she saw me.
"What's the hurry?" I asked her as she almost crashed into me.
"You shouldn't have to wait for me and my slowness. So, I ran." Nya said as she grabbed my arm.
"I think I can wait. It is not like the world depends on you being fast to be with me." I told her as I kissed her forehead.
"But I like being with you." Nya said as she leaned her head to my shoulder.
"Whatever you say, Water Lily." I told her as I walked her to her locker.
"I like that name." Nya said as she put in her locker combination.
"Of course you like it. I came up with it." I told her with my cocky smile.
"A few days with my brother and you are already as cocky as him." Nya sighed as she shook her head.
We proceeded to walk towards my locker. Of course, Nadakhan and Morro were waiting there. I felt Nya clutch my hand.
Nadakhan and Morro looked at me. Then, Nadakhan looked at Nya.
"Hello, Nya. You look wonderful today." Nadakhan said as smooth as he could think of.
"Can I help you?" Nya asked as she watched me put in my locker combination.
"I was wondering if you would like to come with us out to the mall and maybe even to dinner." Nadakhan said.
I gagged after hearing that.
"I'm sorry, but I am already going out with someone after school for a date." Nya said as she looked over at me.
"You are not dating anyone according to your Social Media." Morro jumped in.
"When was the last time you checked my Social Media, Morro?" Nya asked.
I was holding in a laugh as I put my back against the lockers and watched this thing unroll.
"Well, as of yesterday, I am seeing someone." Nya said as she looked at Nadakhan dead in the face.
"Who else possibly deserves you?" Nadakhan said as he looked at Nya.
Nya walked over to me as she gave me a kiss on the cheek. I grabbed her hand and we both walked to class.
"You are a dead man Walker. DO YOU HEAR ME? YOU ARE A DEAD MAN!!!" Nadakhan said as he stormed off in the opposite direction.
"I say that went moderately well." I told Nya as we walked to Mrs.Brooke's class.
"Of course. Except you are a "Dead Man Walker."" Nya said as she looked at me in the eyes and started laughing.
"Whatever." I said as I playfully punched her in the arm.
