Jay POV

I came back to school the following Monday Holding Nya's hand. If that wasn't enough, I also leaned down and kissed the top of her head goodbye before heading into Wu's office. I could feel Morro and Nadakhan shooting daggers at the back of my head as I walked.

"Good morning Carol." I said to the woman at the front desk.

"Good morning Jason. Here for your annual chats with Wu I see?" Carol asked me with a smile.

"You know me so well." I told her as she knocked on Wu's door.

"It helps that you are generally only in here to talk to Wu." Carol said as she winked at me.

Then, the door busted open. A man with brownish grey hair and purple eyes came storming out of the office.

"This isn't over Wu." He called over his shoulder.

I walked into his office and slowly looked up to him.

"If this is a bad time, we can have me come in a different time." I told him as I slowly started to sit up.

"It isn't you, Jason. That Man was my Brother. His name is Garmadon. He runs the other school South of here. He doesn't like me having this school. According to him, Father meant to give the school to him when he passed and not me. It really is just your typical Family Drama." Wu told me as he sat up in his desk.

"I know what you mean." I said with a sigh.

"Have your Parents gotten concerned with the amount of time you have been out of the house?" Wu asked me after a long moment of silence.

"I haven't really been to the house in a couple of Months. Generally I am there by my curfew, and from there I go right to bed. Even then though, I have been spending half of those nights with the Smith's. I am just not in speaking terms with my Parents right now. You know, typical Family Drama." I told him with a fake laugh.

"There was a reason for this meeting being in the morning." Wu finally started.

"Yes?" I asked as I looked up and met his eyes.

"I know we have been training for a Month and a Half at this point. You still have a lot to learn, but I really think that you are ready to start being out there and stopping some crime by yourself." Wu said with a small smile.

"What?! Really?" I asked.

"I think you know enough to understand what to do and expect out there. I know it is going to seem like a lot at first, but you will eventually have a team to help you. Your powers just developed earlier than everyone else." Wu said as I got up.

"Have you gotten any closer or ideas as to who has powers?" I asked.

"I know a few people who I am watching." Wu gave in, not revealing anything else to me.

"Well I am going to head out. Talk to you later." I said as I left with a wave.

"Bye Carol." I said as I waved to her.

After that, Classes just seemed to drag on. I wanted it to be after school already so that I could be on my first day. What was worse was that Nya had started noticing my behavior. I had a hard time lying to her about it. It would only be a matter of time before I told her.

"Are you sure your okay?" Nya whispered to me at the last class of the day.

"Yeah. They are just getting a part that I need to complete something that I'm building at the shop." I said through my teeth.

"Do you want me to come with you?" she asked me with a smile.

"As much as I would love you to, you have babysitting with the Undermones when I have to go get it." I said as I turned away.

That was when the the bell ended. I jumped up and ran out of the classroom before disappearing into my Ninja outfit and running to the rooftops.
