Ch.2 Two is a Tale

So they went to the hotel and got Anna's stuff and on the car ride back to Billie's, Anna fell asleep because she was mentally drained and when they got back, Billie spoke
"Anna we're here" and she woke up and looked around and saw a beautiful home and saw Billie with her bags, then spoke
"It's okay I can carry those"
"No, I insist okay, well welcome home" Billie said smiling and Anna spoke
"Cool" they walked in the house Anna was looking around mesmerized and Billie spoke
"Do you want to meet my wife, she's really cool" just then Adrienne walks in the room and looks at Anna
"Did someone says my name" she said in a mellow tone
"Anna, Adrienne, Adrienne, Anna" Billie said smiling, then Adrienne spoke
"It's nice to meet you, Billie told me what happened, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, thank you"
"You are welcome here as long as you need and we're not strict or mean so you're good" Adrienne said smiling
"Thank you Mrs. Armstrong"
"Oh, call me Adrienne and did you call any family"?
"Not yet"
"BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG, you didnt give this girl a phone to call her family" Adrienne said as she hit Billie with a pillow, Anna was holding back laughter, as she watched Billie dodge being hit by a pillow, but failed she laughed so hard she fell over, then Adrienne handed her a phone
"Here you can use mine okay"
"Okay I'm gonna call my mom"
"Do you want us to leave?"
"Um sure" so Billie and Adrienne left the room
"Okay we'll let you be" Anna typed in her mom's number with tears welling up in her eyes
"Hello"
"Hi mom"
"Anna"?
"Yeah"
"Are you okay I tried calling your dad and you but no answer I figure you just left your phones and were having fun"
"Um mom, d-dad was in a-a accident, h-hes in the hospital"
"Oh my god honey are you okay what happen who are you with"
"I-Its okay mom I-I'm fine but dad h-he got hit by a car w-when we were crossing the street"
"What's his condition"
"H-He's in a coma, the doctor s-said it could be two days to two m-months"
"Oh my god, who are you with"
"W-well you'll never believe this but I-I'm with Billie Joe Armstrong and h-his wife and t-they said I could stay with them till s-stuff gets better"
"Oh my god honey really"
"Y-yeah, u-um can y-you call everyone else and tell them please"
"Of course I'm just glad your safe I love bye honey"
"L-Love you to mom b-bye" after the line went dead Anna dropped the phone and fell to her knees crying until Adrienne came in the room
"Oh my god, are you okay, what happened?"
"I-I explained t-to m-my m-mom wh-what happened"
"Hey, it's okay your dad is gonna be okay and from what Billie told me he seems tough he's gonna pull through, do you want a hug"Anna nodded and leaned into her and instantly felt safe and slowly stopped crying
"T-Thank you"
"It's fine, now it's getting late we should get you to bed, come on" so Adrienne led Anna to what Anna assumed was one of the guest rooms, where her stuff was already put away, she sat down on the bed and looked around it was a pretty cool room, then Adrienne walked up to Anna and gave her a hug and said goodnight and then Billie came into the room and sat down on the bed, then spoke
"Y'know my dad died when I was a little younger then you, so I know how it feels I know you just want him to be okay I get that and it's okay to cry but you also gotta be strong for your dad to and have fun for him spending your visit to California sad, he'd want you having a kick ass time, okay" he said smiling
"Okay" Anna said in a small voice
"Want a Billie hug" he asked with a smile
"Of course"after the hug and the little talk Anna felt way better
"We're gonna have so much fun tomorrow, it's gonna be awesome, jam pact with music, and fun" Anna was now excited for tomorrow, Billie gave her one more hug and said good night then she was out like a light.
