Ch.54 Basket Case

So the next day everyone was talking and Anna was out in the yard playing with little Billie and they were all discussing if Anna should see a counsler and Billie spoke
"How about we suggest it to her and if she wants to do it great if she doesn't then we just help her through it like we have been,because she has been having fewer breakdowns"and everyone agreed
"How about I talk to her about it"and they all agreed that was probaly the best thing,so Billie went outside by Anna and spoke
"Can I talk to you about something"
"Sure"so they sat down on the blanket that was laid out in the grass
"Um everyone was talking and this is just a suggestion but would you want to see a counsler"
"Um"and she started to have tears well up in her eyes and then she started crying,so Billie hugged her
"Its okay you don't have to if you don't want to"and once she was calmed down she spoke
"Um when I wasn't okay before my parents suggested it,but the way I thought of it, it was just a reminder that something was wrong with me and I never wanted to sit down and relive what I try so hard to forget and I don't need a counsler to put me on any medication because then I would need my dad's permission and he would find out and I can't even bare to see him see me like this again I just can't and when I'm not okay I always think that asking for help or getting help makes you weak,so then that would make me weak"and Billie immediately pulled her into a hug
"Okay I get and don't say that you are one of the strongest people I know,okay"
"Okay"
"How about this anytime and I mean anytime like I don't care if its three in the morning and you have thoughts that lead to um y'know just hug me okay"
"Okay"
"So wanna go get ice cream"
"Sure"so they headed back inside and Anna grabbed little Billie's leash and went back outside and Billie spoke
"She explained why she doesn't want to do that,its heartbreaking for me to hear,just don't bring it up and I came up with a solution"

"I told her that anytime like anytime she has thoughts that lead to y'know for her to give me a hug"
"That sounds like a good solution"so then he went back outside by Anna and they headed to Baskin Robbins,and got ice cream and went to the park and sat under a tree and talked and ate their ice cream and Billie spoke
"Um if we need to we could take extra time off tour" and Anna still felt guilty about the guys taking a break from tour just because of her and Billie saw that she looked upset
"Hey whats wrong"
"I just feel guilty that you and the guys are taking a break from tour just because of me" and Billie gave her a hug
"You don't have to feel guilty you relapsed and we're gonna be here for you its not like we were just gonna keep touring and me and the guys not know your okay I probaly would have lost my mind worrying about you we all would have and not be there for you and plus you are part of the tour and we can never imagine performing without you and we want to make sure you're okay and to help you get better because we love and care about you"
"Okay,thanks Billie"she said giving him a hug
"Of course,so what should we do today"
"I don't know you got any ideas"
"Wanna have a pool party and blast music and probaly get the cops called"
"Trouble's my specialty"and Billie just laughed and smiled
"Okay then lets go"so they headed back home and right went they walked in the door Billie annoucned
"Pool Party" and everyone came by him and Anna and Adrienne spoke
"So whats happening"
"Pool Party"and Anna just smile and nodded
"Okay then" so everyone went and got changed and then headed outside by the pool and Anna pushed Billie in and started laughing,and he came back up with a smile on his face,if her pushing him into a pool makes her laugh and smile so be it and Joan pushed Anna in and she came back up with two thumbs up, so everyone hung out and swam around and then Billie and Anna accidently splashed Joan and she pulled out and huge water gun
"Oh shit"Anna and Billie both said and Joan drenched them and spoke
"Ha victory"then water balloon fights and obviously music was involved and they were blasting everything from Fall Out Boy to Van Halen and how they didn't have the cops show up or get any noise complaints they didn't know,but they had fun, Anna and Billie had an underwater handstand and flip contest,Anna won and she also used the last water balloon on Billie and everyone laughed and he just stood there with a stupid look on his face,so he went under and put Anna on his shoulders and launched her off and she landed on the other end of the pool and everyone laughed and he spoke
"Payback"
"Yeah yeah"and so they relaxed outside and listened to music and Anna was laying on a float just listening and smiling,which made Billie smile,so after a while everyone dried off and changed and Anna went up to the ledge and Billie followed her,so they went out there and Anna spoke
"Um can I explain some stuff to you"
"Sure"
"Um well when I wasn't okay the first time,I had no one to turn to and I did so much self destruction that I lost like a pound or two from not eating and just all together put myself through hell and i had no one to turn to and you guys are really helping me through this like I haven't done anything that I did last time,like just all together all shit I did that effected my physical heath I haven't done that,and y'know what all of that leads back to"

"Guilt,because I know that you guys all love me and I just couldn't bare you guys to see me like that but also you guys are helping a lot but like almost everything leads back to guilt and I don't know why"

"Because you being the awesome person you are,you still care, you care about your dad,me,the guys,Adrienne,and Joan because if you didn't care you would do all of that over again,but we are here and helping"

"I remember this one time my bitch of a grandma was trashing the music I love and my dad so much just trashing our self esteem I almost stood up rolled up my sleeve and said have at it you're half the reason I fucking did this,but I didn't man that would have on hell of a phone call to my dad,ha"
"Well she's dead and can't effect you or your dad anymore"
"Yeah I know but just how much damage she did to our self esteem over the years and what she said sticks with us,hell I remember one time she yelled at me because I didn't know when her birthday was or how old she was and just to fuck with her I stood there and named off every Panic! album release date"

"And um just the amount of shit she did to us between killing our self esteem,blaming us for everything mainly holidays,hating everything we stood for like two years ago I walked all the way from school to her house just to deliever that letter so she knew what she did to us was wrong as fuck"
"What she did to you guys was just fucked up"

"Like I remember this one time at my mom's old house we were discussing our fucked up family and i was sitting up on the counter and just talking about them gave me anxiety,and my grandma compared me to my cousin and aunt that both used to cut and said it was the same and I lost it"and Billie just gave her a hug
"You feel guilty because you care,you love and care about the people in your life,you are the best little punker ever,you are real,you're an awesome kid,you survived the first time all on your own,you're strong,hell you survived all the shit you've been through since you've been three,and I love you and I kow you are gonna go far no matter what you do"he said smiling and Anna gave him a hug and hearing all of that made her smile like an idiot

"Um its nice out can we drive around,windows down,and music'
"Of course"so they got off the ledge and went downstairs and told everyone what they were doing,so they left and drove around with music of course singing along and Billie seeing Anna smiling,singing to some of her favorite songs made him happy,so they drove around and ended up at the point and Anna ended up passing out,so they drove back home and he carried her and put her in bed and left her to sleep.
(Time skip-2 hours)
Anna had a terrible dream that she was in a room,it was dark and there were six people tied to chairs,so she walked up to them and it was her dad,Billie,Adrienne,Mike,Tre,and Joan and they all had bullet holes in there head,and she fell to her knees crying and looked down at her hands and they were covered in blood and then she looked next to her and she saw a gun and she grabbed it and held it up to her head and pulled the trigger.
She woke up and started crying,it was only a dream she thought to herself,but it sure felt real,so she got out of bed and went to Billie and Adrienne's room and gave Billie a hug,just doing what he said and she didn't want to wake him up,so she grabbed her board and left,so she went up to the playground and sat on the stairs and she was thinking about that dream,it scared the living shit out of her,and she started crying,then she realized she didn't leave a note and she didn't have her phone ad she starting worrying and shaking,she knew how this was gonna end,she was going to start hyperventilating and pass out,fuck Billie's gonna worry she tought to herself then she felt guilty that she left and she was thinking about it and she couldn't breath and passed out. Meanwhile,Billie woke up with a really bad feeling so he got up and went to check on Anna,she wasn't there,the window wasn't open,so he went down in the kitchen,no note and he started to worry,so he grabbed his phone and called Anna's number and he heard it ring and it was up in her room,fuck he thought to himself,so he grabbed his keys and left and went to look for Anna,and he went by where Anna said she went and where the cops picked her up,so he went to the park first and got out and walked around and went up to the playground and thats when he saw her passed out on the stairs,so he ran up to her
"Anna wake up,Anna can you hear me" and he had tears welling up in his eyes,he knew what happend,so he called 911 and in not even two minutes the ambulance came and the paramedics came with a gurney and one asked
"What happend"
"This has happend before she has asthma and hyperventilates and passes out because she can't breathe and I just found her"so they put Anna on the gurney and loaded her into the ambulance and the other paramedic asked Billie
"Are you family"
'I'm her uncle"
"Okay hop in"so they got to the hospital and Billie had to wait in the waiting room and he called Joan
"Billie why the hell are you calling me at two in the morning,you're upstairs"
"Anna's in the hospital again"
"Oh shit"
"Can you go wake up everyone else"
"Yeah,bye"so Joan hung up and went and woke up the guys and Adrienne and they were there in like not even five minutes and when they got there Joan spoke
"What happend"
"I woke up and I had a really bad feeling so I went to check on Anna and she wasn't there,no note so I tried to call her phone but it was up in her room so I went out to look for her and I found her passed out on the playground"and he was trying his best not to cry
"God that kid can't get a break"and he started crying and Mike spoke
"Billie she's gonna be fine,it was an asthma attack like last time"
"I know just its like she can't catch a break"
"But she's tough"
"God what the hell are we gonna tell Scott his kid has been hospitalized twice without him knowing"
"We'll take care of that later,now lets just stay focused on Anna,okay"
"Okay"so Joan stood up and nodded to Billie to follow her,so they went down to the cafeteria and got coffee and sat down at a table and Joan spoke
"It'll still be another hour or two before you can see her so don't worry"
"Yeah"
"Anyway you seemed upset when you left before whats up"
"Me and Anna went out on the ledge and she told me a bunch of stuff and it just upsets me that she has been put through hell since she's been three,like mainly stuff about her grandma because of how much she fucked up her and her dad's self esteem and stuff like that,like if I know that entire story I probaly would have killed that bitch myself"
"I wouldn't blame you and I agree with you the kid can't catch a break"
"Yeah, and I know it makes all of us happy when she's happy"
"Yeah"and Joan started laughing
"Huh"
"Nothing I can just picture her in our generation and being in a mosh pit"
"Nice she even said thats she's want to jump into a mosh pit since she's been 12"

"Yeah"Billie said smiling and Joan spoke
"How much you care about her and make her happy you don't even know"she said smiling

"Like we are probaly the best thing to ever happen in her life"
"Yeah and when we were up on the ledge she told me that all of us were really helping her,because the first time she wasn't okay she did so much self destruction and got through it on her own'

"Yeah and she said that all the thoughts lead back to one,guilt and she explained why and she said she didn't know why that was and I knew why and told her and made her realize some stuff"

"Since she did so much self destruction the first time she never wanted her dad to see her like that,thats why she felt guilty and I told her even though she didn't care about herself then she still cared about her dad because she knew it would break his heart to see her like that and that this time she hasn't done any self destruction well except for y'know because she never wants us to see her like that,thats why she feels guilty and I told her she feels guilty because she cares and it clicked for her"
"That actually makes a lot of sense"
"Yeah and she never realized that before and I told her that she feels guilty because she cares and she loves and cares about the people in her life,she is the best little punker ever,she's real,she's an awesome kid,she survived the first time on her own,she's strong,she survived all the shit she's been through since she's been three,and that I lover her and that I know she's gonna go far no matter what she does and the smile on her face just made my day"he said smiling
"Well we already knew all of that about her"Joan said smiling

"Yeah maybe"he said laughing,so after three cups of coffee for both of them and talking,they headed back up to the waiting room,and the doctor was talking to Adrienne and the guys and then walked away,and they walked over and Billie spoke

"Yeah"so they headed into Anna's room and Billie spoke
"Hey how you doin"he said sitting down in a chair next to her bed
"High on steroids"and he laughed a little
"What happend"
"Um can everyone else leave I kinda just wanna tell Billie"
"Of course"Adrienne said,so her,Mike,Tre,and Joan walked out in the hallway and Anna spoke
"Um well I woke up from a really bad dream and um it was where I was in this dark room and there were six people tied to chairs and it was you,Adrienne,the guys,and Joan and you were all dead and I fell on my knees crying and I looked down at my hands and they were covered in blood and on the floor next to me was a gun and I-I picked it up and put it up to my head and I-I pulled the trigger"and Anna started crying and Billie pulled her into a hug

"And so I went downstairs and I went in your room and gave you a hug and needed to clear my head and i wasn't thinking and I didn't leave a note and I forgot my phone and I'm sorry and I headed up to the playground and was overthinking and worrying and scared because of the dream and I started crying and shaking then I started hypervenilating and passed out and I'm sorry"and Billie gave Anna another hug
"Its okay you have nothing to be sorry about we're all just glad you're okay and hey at least you didn't get picked up by the cops again"he said laughing a little,and Anna smiled and laughed a little,so Billie got up and went and told everyone they could come back in,so they did and Adrienne gave her a hug adn so did Joan and Anna spoke
"So I'm guessing you guys aren't leaving even though its only one night"and Adrienne spoke
"Nope you know us"she said smiling
"Yeah"so Billie had one of the nurses bring extra chairs in for them to sleep in,and everyone passed out after a while,except for Anna,Billie and Joan,because of the steroids Anna wouldn't fall asleep for a few more hours,and Billie and Joan because they just had three cups of coffee each,so they passed the time by watching funny videos on Billie's phone and trying not to laugh and wake Adrienne and the guys up,and eventually Joan passed out because coffee especially crappy coffee can only keep you running for a couple hours,so now it was just Billie and Anna up,so Billie put some music on and on a quiet volume so it would help Anna fall asleep,but he ended up passing out,and Anna just laughed and grabbed his phone and took a picture of him passed out looking cute as blackmail and also just for the heck of it,so she set his phone down and actually fell asleep at like five in the morning.
So Adrienne and the guys woke up at around noon,but Joan,Billie and Anna were still out,and Joan was the first to wake up out of the three and spoke
"Dang they're still passed out"
"Yeah"Adrienne said,and Mike went on a coffee run and an hour later Anna woke up
"Yay coffee"and Mike handed her a cup of coffee,of course Oakland Coffee, and Adrienne spoke
"How you feeling"
"Tired"and she took a drink of her coffee
"Nevermind"she said smiling,which made Adrienne smile
"Wait he's still passed out,I was the one that got steriods"
"Yeah"and Anna remembered that she took a picture of Billie on his phone,passed out looking cute and spoke
"Oh wait check his phone"so Adrienne did and smiled
"You took a picture of him passed out"
"Yeah,for blackmail what else"and Adrienne laughed a little
"Well he is cute passed out like that"
"Yeah"Anna said smiling,Mike spoke
"Well I gotta see this"so Adrienne showed Mike and Tre the picture and they started laughing,and of course Billie had to wake up and spoke

"Let me see"and Adrienne handed him his phone back, and he saw the picture of him passed out looking cute
"Who took this"and everyone pointed at Anna and she spoke
"Thanks for selling me out"so Billie got up and for payback,grabbed Anna's coffee that was on the table next to her,and he sat back down and drank it and Anna's face was priceless and Mike spoke

"I swear Billie"so he set the coffee down next to him and Anna grabbed a pillow and hit him in the face with it,and took the cup of coffee that was supossed to be Billie's

"You win"and Billie just laughed and gave Anna a hug
"So how you feeling"
"Tired so pretty much normal"
"Okay"so Anna was discharged and they drove around until it was dark out,blasting music and having a good time and everyone headed back home and Billie had an idea,so he grabbed two cups of hot cocoa,a blanket and headed up to Anna's room
"Come on"so Anna followed him and so did little Billie and they headed outside and he laid the blanket down,and sat down,so Anna sat down next to him and he handed her a cup of hot cocoa and they sat and star gazed for a while and Billie spoke
"Where do you see yourself in four years"
"Um hopefully still playing and kicking ass with you and the guys,having a girlfriend and living out here in Oakland with little Billie and my dad living around here so we can offically leave Wisconsin behind and being happy and yeah"
"Still being my little Youngblood"he said smiling
"Of course"and Billie gave her a hug and she spoke
"Where do you see yourself in four years"
"Well still kicking ass with you,touring,making albums, you still being my little Youngblood,and hanging out with you all the time"

"I just miss my dad and am worrying about him"and Billie pulled out his phone and Facetimed Scott and he answered and Billie flipped the camera so it was facing Anna and Scott spoke

"No,Billie pulled some strings and I got to meet blink,go backstage,practice with them and play with them on stage with Billie and see them in concert and I got to meet Sum 41,go backstage,practice with them and practice with them and play on stgae with them with Billie and see them in concert adn the lead singer gave me two guitar picks,and I got to meet Fall Out Boy,go backstage,practice with them and play four songs on stage with them with Billie and see them in concert and the bass player gave me a pick,the lead singer gave me two hugs and the drummer who is from Wisconsin gave me he drum sticks and he went to middle school with Rhiannon and tell her he said hi"

"I got picked up for being out after curfew"
