Ch.66 Burnout

So the next morning Anna woke up from a terrible fever dream and she started silently crying and the next thing she knows is that Billie's arms are around her
"Its okay Youngblood''so once she calmed down Billie spoke
"What happened"
"I had a really bad dream,it was at the funeral and you,the guys and Adrienne got really hurt"
"Its okay it was only a dream,scoot over"and she did and Billie sat,laid next to her and Anna saw how sleep deprived Billie looked
"Did you stay up all night again"
"Maybe,to make sure you were okay"
"Thanks Billo''
"Yep,so how you feelin"
"Better,I think my fever broke"and Billie felt her forehead

"Wait shit what time is it"
"7:00,why'
"The funeral,its at like noon,I have to go to this"
"Don't worry Youngblood,we'll get there in time,we just have to get you discharged,get our stuff from the hotel and hop on a plane and boom"

"K"so Billie got up and left and like 10 minutes later came back and with the doctor taking care of Anna

"Okay"so they took her tempature and she was fine
"Okay you're go to go,we'll get you the discharge paper work"
"Thanks"and the doctor left and Billie spoke

"Yeah"so like five minutes later the paper work was done and everyone woke up,so they first got coffee,then headed back to the hotel and got their stuff,then headed to the airport and got a flight back to Wisconsin,boom four hours later landed in Milwaukee,headed back to Scott's dropped their stuff off,and it was 11:45 and it took 10 minutes to get to the church and they left and pulled up at five to noon and Anna got out of the car

"Yeah getting here no but what's behind those doors who the fuck knows"so they headed into the meeting area of the church and it was a wave of heads and someone spoke
"Who invited the trator"and of course it was her drunk fucking uncle and Anna spoke
"No one did and I just came her out of respect because I was Juanita's family to,I don't want any crap and she wouldn't want anyone trying to start shit,like it or not I have Tehan blood to so deal with it" and everyone looked in shock at Anna since she had surgery and she saw her mom and she was mostly in shock and someone else spoke
"Well they aren't family and you're a fag"and it was her psycho aunt and she walked up to her
"If Juanita saw all the good they have done for me and how happy they make me she would say that they are my family,and they are, and they support me no matter what and love me and yeah I had fucking top surgery it doesn't make me any less of a person and they made sure I made it here on time,we were just in Vegas reciving an award when I got sick as hell,so in five hours we got here in one piece and we're still wearing the same clothes we wore last night"and then BAM something really loud hits and then next thing everyone knows glass in flying everywhere and everyone ducks and of course it was Anna's drunk uncle smashing a booze bottle on a table,and Anna's only sane family member on her mom's side of the family,her Uncle Shannon takes her uncle outside and then Anna's cousins walked up to her and her cousin Ava spoke
"Why are you even here"
"I'm here because I actually have respect and morals unlike you bitch and don't question why I'm here, she was included in the very few people on this side that I actually consider family"
"Yeah well where were you all of those holidays and birthdays" Ava said trying to make a point
"I was being smart and not around anyone of your crazy,petty asses or around any of the adults drunken loud mouths and leave me the fuck alone you psycho" and Anna walked away and the priest walks in
"The service is starting,everyone follow me into the church"so everyone did and the guys and Adrienne followed Anna
"Bitch"another one of Anna's aunts said as Adrienne walked by and Anna turned around so fucking fast

"Damn it"so Anna chilled out and they went into the service and sat through mass,did nothing,but sat through it outta respect,then the priest allowed people to come up and speak and Anna got up and people were chattering some really bad shit,but who said the worse was that one aunt and Adrienne was sitting right behind her,next to Billie and the guys and she had pure rage in her eyes and went Anna got up to the podium she saw Billie holding Adrienne back but descreatly, I can't fucking spell, and she spoke
"Juanita was one of the nicest people ever to me and she took no crap and always made amazing food,anyways I'm gonna miss her but she's happy now so that's good she was awesome,and could"and the chatter was still going on and Billie stood up and spoke
"Just let her speak, she lost someone too,so shut up,anyone who wants to argue with me about can outside later"and he sat back down and everyone was still talking,so surprisingly Tiffany stood up
"Shut up and let her talk"and Billie looked at Tiffany and mouthed a quick 'thanks'and she sat down
"Thanks,um she could understand my maturity,and didn't excile me from the family just because I was Scott Kushner's kid and I was her buddy,she always loved seeing me"and she walked back over and sat back down next to Billie,so people got up and said stuff and eventually the service was over so everyone ether went outside or were talking in the meeting area and Anna spoke

"Billie let me go"she said trying to fight her way out of Billie's grasp,with pure rage and fire in her eyes

"I don't fucking know"and Shannon tried to hold her drunk uncle back but he elbowed Shannon in the face

"You come here you like traitor fag fucking disgrace"he said sluring his words and came over and slapped Anna and she fell back in Billie's arms and Billie spoke
"Don't fucking touch her"and he punched Anna's uncle and he fell over and stumbled back up and Anna saw an empty beer bottle on the ground and grabbed it and smashed it over her uncle's head and he was knocked out and when Anna turned around her two of her cousins were standing right there and Ava pushed at Anna's chest and Anna winced and spoke

"No" Ava said laughing and then her other cousin Luke tried to swing at her but she ducked and she pulled a knife on both of her cousins and spoke
"I done with your fucking bullshit, come on try and hit me again and you'll fucking regret it" and her cousins backed away and Shannon came over and grabbed both of her cousins and spoke
"Anna,just go I'll take care of this"and Shannon is also one of her uncles and she went and gave him a hug and her,Adrienne,and the guys and they headed back to Scott's and Anna spoke
"I'm sorry,I knew that we were gonna walk into something like that,I didn't know it would be that bad"and Billie spoke
"Its okay,you did it out of respect and its fine they were all outta line,so they deserved it"and he gave her a hug

"Yeah, I wore those shoes specifically because of where we were going, then I just have my regular pocket knife"

"Billie,holy shit you've been up for 36 hours"and Billie laughed a little
"Yeah,well it was worth it"so everyone relaxed and passed out around like 10:00 so like an hour later Anna woke up and needed to clear her head and everyone was still passed out so she left a note on the kitchen table,grabbed her phone, and walked to the football field,surprisingly no CA rolled up on her,so she went on the field and laid down and star gazed and listened to music for hours,so about four hours later Billie woke up,even though he had been up for 36 hours straight,five hours of sleep recharged him,and he saw Anna's note that said she was at the football field and made some coffee and poured it into two thermoses,again I can't spell,and grabbed a blanket and walked over to the football field and saw Anna
"Hey Youngblood"and she sat up
"Hey Billo"and he went over by her and laid the blanket down and handed her a thermos,and they both sat down on the blanket

"Yep,so what you doin here"
"Just hand to clear my head because of the shit that was said and done today"

"Yeah"and Anna's phone rang and it was some random number and she answered it

"I just called to tell you that everything got taken care of,people still hate you but Terry got arrested"

''Everything was taken care of,my drunk uncle got arrested,and everyone still hates me,so yeah"and Billie pulled Anna into a hug

"If we pass out here it's fine,how many times my dad slept on this field because he didn't want to go home,and if I pass out wake me up to see the sun rise"
"Okay Youngblood"he said smiling,so they star gazed and talked and listened to music and Anna passed out and Billie fell asleep for like an hour and woke up and saw Anna passed out,and pulled her into his arms,he knew what happened today messed with her,she just didn't let it show,and it was about an hour or two later Billie woke Anna up
"Youngblood wake up"and she did,and they went up and sat in the blechers and watched the sunrise,just chilling,drinking coffee,so they walked around for a little bit,and no one was around and just like before was so peaceful,and Billie was holding Anna's hand,just because and he was humming and didn't even know it and Anna laughed a little and Billie spoke

"I wasn't even thinking and I was humming"

"Yeah I know"so they walked around some and Billie kept humming,but Anna didn't mind,she liked it when he hummed,so they went and fucked up Starbucks and went and sat on the roof of the bank and Anna spoke

"Yeah"and Billie's phone rang,it was their manager

"Okay that's good and also there are some journalists and reporters flying out to Wisconsin to interview you,the guys,and Anna and do some other stuff"and Billie just realized that they haven't done an interview in forever and they haven't done one with Anna,hell they haven't done one since before they met Anna

"Bye man"and Billie hung up and Anna spoke

"That was our manager,some journalists and reporters are flying out here to interview us and some other stuff,we're gonna our first interview with us,heck it'll be your first interview"
"Okay,so we're basically gonna be doing interviews all day"

"Yeah,I'm weird"so they went and fucked up Starbucks again and got coffee for everyone and headed back to Scott's and everyone was awake and Billie told the guys what was happening,so everyone relaxed for a little bit and their manager sent them the time and location for the first interview,it was some random meeting place in Milwaukee,so they headed over there and were greeted by some people,and the were from Rocksound,and so they waited for a little bit and sat down and the interview began

"Well that concludes our interview with Green Day,and their latest album Unconsious Perception" so everything was done,they chilled and Billie walked over by Anna and gave her a hug

"Yep,now to the next interview'' so they left and headed to the where the next interview was and it was apparently in a conference room in Miller Park,so they got there and Anna spoke
"Wait we're doing an interview at Miller Park"and Billie spoke

"Cool"so they went in everything got situated and stuff and interview started

"Well even though I'm from Milwaukee,I don't like Wisconsin sports teams,so watching sports games with other people in my family was fun,or when people at my old school would talk about sports,but favorite baseball team I would say Oakland Athletics"

"Weird question,but I went to Saint Jude the Apostle,only went there for the education,not religion or to make friends"

"I can answer that,yes they guys and Adrienne helped me and my so much and looked after me and we are really close,we consider each other family and its awesome, even though I didn't have a family in my mind because of how toxic they were,like besides my dad someone actually cared about me and to know that someone had my back, Adrienne has been like a mom to me when my mom wasn't,they guys have my back,have gotten my through some tough shit,Billie helped my dad,they made it possible for me to meet my aunt for the first time,they're just awesome"and Billie spoke

"Yeah well back when we won the award for Best Rock Album, I kinda got a little payback and called him a nick name because he was messing with me and Adrienne was recording it and we didn't know so,I got payback and called him 'Billo'and that stuck and then he legit got us wristbands with those nick names on them"

"Well that's it for our interview"so just like last time they chilled for a little bit and Anna being the weird kid she is,who loves climbing and sitting on stuff she shouldn't,she was sitting Indian style on the conference table and Billie was just sitting their watching her,and then went over by her and hopped up on the table next to her
"So you like interviews"
"Kinda,yeah"
"Well that's good,so what should we do the rest of the day,since this was our last interview today"
"I don't know,what do you wanna do"
"Uh wanna just chill outside and have like a bond fire later and stuff and s'mores may be envolved"
'That sounds good"so they left and went back to Scott's and when they got there Adrienne spoke
"So how'd you like your first interview"
"Good"and so Anna and Billie just chilled outside until it got dark out,then they started a bond fire and Anna being the creative as fuck person she is, she was in a daze,watching the embers of the fire go up in the air,and Billie thought it was cute,how she was kinda in a daze watching the embers,so s'mores were envolved and it was fun and it's Wiscosnin so the weather is outta wack,so even though it wasa like the end of June,it gotta chilly that night,so Anna put her Rev Rad hoodie on and sat near the fire,it was really nice,being surrounded by people you love,having a good time,being nice and warm and not having a care in the world and being at peace for once,damn did hell freeze over,she has never been able to think that before,so music plus,a nice bond fire,and being happy,was a pretty good way to end the night,so everyone one after another started slowly heading inside,and now it was just Billie and Anna left and Billie spoke
"Come here Youngblood"and she did and she sat down next to him and he hugged her and he started laughing a little and spoke

"Well I guess you're right"so once they headed inside,everyone was already passed out,so then Anna and Billie passed out and Billie kinda figured that Anna was gonna head to the football field, and it was only like 9:30 or something so about five hours later Anna woke up and wrote a note,that she was going to the football field and grabbed her phone and left and headed over to the football field and laid down on the field and listened to music and star gazed,and about an hour after Anna left Billie woke up and saw Anna's note and same as yesterday, grabbed some thermoses with coffee and a blanket and headed over to the football field,when he got there he saw Anna star gazing

"Hey Billo"she said sitting up and Billie spoke
"As usual my favorite thing coffee,star gazing,and my Youngblood"he said smiling

"Well besides that"and Anna spoke
"It's still really weird someone else being up with me,I was so used to just it being me being up at some ungodly hour"

"Yeah"so they star gazed and listened to music and Anna passed out for an hour and so they went up on the blechers and watched the sun rise and Anna didn't know but Billie took a picture of her watching the sun rise and Anna, ironically wanted to take a picture of Billie so she pulled out her phone and saw that he posted and she looked at it and it was a picture of her watching the sunrise and the caption said 'Youngblood+coffee+sunrise=a smilely face emoji' and so she took a picture of Billie smiling and posted it and the caption was 'Billo+coffee+sunrise=smilely face emoji'so after they went and fucked up Starbucks,they walked around for a while,hand in hand and Billie was humming Ordinary World and didn't know it and Anna just smiled,it was a good start to the morning.
