Ch.65 Geek Stink Breath

So the next day Anna woke up and saw a passed out Billie and smiled,so she snuck downstairs and Adrienne was awake and sitting in the kitchen
"Morning"
"Hi"and Anna went a grabbed a cup of coffee and went and sat down by Adrienne
"Billie passed out on the couch in my room"and Adrienne laughed a little
''So your appointment is at 11:00"
"Okay"and Anna gave Adrienne a hug
"Thanks"
"Of course"so they sat and talked for a little bit and Billie walked in the kitchen
'Hey"
''Hi"and Billie walked over and gave Anna a hug and Anna spoke
"How are you so cute when you wake up"and Billie laughed a little
"I don't know,I'm always cute to you"
"Yep"so then a little bit later Joan walked in
"Morning"and everyone said a variation of 'hi' so everyone relaxed and woke up and talked for a little bit and eventally Anna got ready
"Ready Youngblood"Adrienne asked
"Yep lets go"so they left and headed to this clinic kind of and went in and stuff and waited for a little bit and no one was there so they saw someone and the doctor talked to both Anna and Adrienne about stuff and scheduled the surgery and stuff and Anna walked out with a smile on her face,so they headed back home and Billie gave Anna a hug and she spoke
"Get your hugs in now I have surgery in three days"
"That's great Youngblood"
"Yeah,and you probably won't be able to hug me for a while so get your hugs in"and Billie smiled at the fact Anna was really happy and they basically relaxed the rest of the day,and of course hugs were envolved.
(Time skip-3 days)
So it was the day of Anna's surgery and they had to be at the hospital at like 7am so Billie,Adrienne,Joan and Anna all headed there and it was like a 45 minute wait and the guys showed up
"Hey Anna"Mike said
"Hi guys"and Mike and Tre gave her a hug,so after the wait was up a nurse walked over by them and told them they were ready and Anna spoke
"Everyone who wants one last hug for a while do it now"and Joan,Mike,Tre,and Billie all gave her hugs and she was smiling,so her and Adrienne followed the nurse and Anna got situated and stuff and they had a few minutes to talk and Adrienne spoke
"I love you Youngblood and we will all be waiting for you"
"Okay and I love you too"and Adrienne gave Anna a hug and Adrienne left and some nurses wheeled the bed Anna was in to the operating room and they doctor started,meanwhile everyone was out in the waiting room,and of course everyone was a little nervous but not that much,they were just happy for Anna,and all they could do was wait,so the three hours of wait time felt like forever,and the doctor came out and talked to everyone
"The surgery went incredibly well and Anna's resting and is asleep from the meds so it'll be a little bit before she wakes up and she will have to stay here for about 2 or 3 days"
"Okay can we see her"
"Of course right this way"and the doctor led them to Anna's room and she was laying there passed out and Billie went and sat in a chair next to her bed and held her hand,since he couldn't give her a hug
"Love you Youngblood"so about 2 hours later she woke up and she looked at Billie who was smiling and spoke
"Hey"he said
"Hi"she said in a small voice
"How you feelin"
''Really out of it"
"That sounds accurate"
"So how long am I gonna be here"
"Like 2 or 3 days so not that bad"
"Yeah and dang it you won't be able to hug me for a week"
"I'll survive"
"I know,and I am fucking tired'
"Scoot over"and she did and Billie sat,laid next to her and held her hand
"Get some rest y'know we'll be here the whole time"
"I know"and she passed back out and Billie smiled and rested his head on top of her's and accidentally passed out,so every just talked and chilled to pass time and Billie woke up a couple hours later and looked at Anna,who was still passed out
"I don't get how she is so cute"and Adrienne spoke
"We will never know the answer to that question, she just is'
"Yeah"so everyone kicked it at the hospital on and off, well Billie spent almost the entire time there with Anna, for three days and Anna could finally go home,so she was discharged and got to go home, but it was painful, so she just rested, she hated just resting and being bored but obviously, Billie and little Billie kept her company,so she wasn't dying of bordem,so four days later Anna had an appointment, she was gonna finally see what her chest looked like,so Adrienne took her and they headed over to the hospital and Adrienne spoke
"You excited"
"Yeah,and a little nervous,since I don't know what it looks like"
"And that's completely fine"so they headed over by her doctor and stuff and Anna could tell that Adrienne was a little nervous to,so Anna was standing in front of a mirror, and Adrienne was sitting in a chair near her,so the doctor helped Anna take her shirt off since her chest was still sore and then undid the bandage, or binder they put around her chest and Anna looked in the mirror and the doctor spoke
"So what do you think"
"One,fuck bras,and two I got some kick ass battle scars,and I like it"and Adrienne was smiling and laughing a little and spoke
"I'm glad you're happy,and you are beautiful no matter what" and the doctor helped Anna put her shirt back on and spoke
"So just take it easy and rest for about another week or two and use ice packs,and over the counter scar treatment and you'll be good"
"Okay thanks"
"Yep"so Anna and Adrienne left
"You happy"
"Yep"so they went to Walgreens and got some ice packs and some scare treatment then headed back home and Billie was sitting in teh kitchen,looking anxious and right when he saw them walk in the door he got up
"So how'd it go"and Anna spoke
"Awesome"and Billi kinda looked relieved
"Good,I'm glad,gentle hug"
"Sure"so Billie gave her probaly the most gentle hug ever,and Anna was still sore so it hurt a little
"So just rest and take it easy I take it"
"Yeah"so they realxed the entire rest of the day and took it easy,so they were still on tour,and Anna's surgery didn't stop her from touring,so over teh course of two weeks she just stood on the sidelines next to Adrienne watching the guys rock out and,tonight they were playing Oakland Collesium,so Anna watched the guys practiced and was a little bummed out that she couldn't play,but Billie cheered her up as always,so once they got there,they did a usual soundcheck and stuff and chilled,so it was show time and the guys and Joan walked out on stage and Billie spoke
"How the fuck you doin Oakland"and he was met with massive cheers
"Well you might be wondering where Anna is but,Youngblood come out here"so she walked across the stage and stood next to Billie and he put his arm around her
"Anna's recovering from having top surgery and she is one of the strongest people ever and I love her,I'm proud of her,a little bummed I can't hug her but I'll survive"and Billie looked at Anna and wasn't speaking into the mic
"Wanna shoot the T-shirt cannon"
"Hell yes"so a crew member gave Anna the T-shirt cannon and Billie spoke
"Who wants a fucking T-shirt"so Anna launched them everywhere so it was fair,every section got at least one T-shirt,so once she was done she went back over by Billie

''Right back at ya Billo"and Billie smiled and now he wasn't speaking into the mic
"Wanna just go sit on an amp and chill"
"Yeah"so Anna went over and sat on a random amp and chilled and watched the guys play and was smiling the whole time,she smiled and laughed the whole time,so once the show was over they all chilled backstage and Anna spoke
"So its been two weeks,think we could go back to Wisconsin in the next few days"and Billie started laughing,because he was on his phone
"I just bought plane tickets for tomorrow"
"Okay"so they headed back home and Anna packed up her stuff and chilled,and Billie went up to her room

"Hi"and they went out on the edge and Anna spoke
"I'm happy I did this"
"I'm gald,and know matter what you are always gonna be beautiful and cute no matter what"
"Thanks Billie,and sorry you can't hug me"

"Good"so they eventually headed back in and Anna fell asleep practically the second she sat down on her bed and Billie looked at her and smiled,and covered her up
"Night Youngblood"and he gave her a kiss on her forehead and sat down on the couch and just looked at her,not in a creepy way and was just really happy that Anna was finally happy and comfortable and actually got a break for once,and he passed out with a smile on his face,so the next morning Anna was the first to wake up and saw a passed out Billie and smiled and went downstairs and got a cup of coffee and just went and sat in her room on her bed and a little bit later Billie woke up
"Hi Youngblood"
"Morning Billo"and Billie went and sat next to her on the bed and smiled and gave her a gentle hug and Anna spoke
"Seriously how are you so cute when you wake up"and Billie shrugged his shoulders and took Anna's coffee and finished what was left of it
"So wanna just chill then headed to the airport"
"Yeah"so literally everyone relaxed and was lazy until they had to head to the airport and got on their flight to Wisconsin,so once they landed they headed back to Scott's and decompressed a little and unpacked and Billie spoke
"You excited to hang out with Zach"
"Hell yes but I wanna make one stop first"

"Okay"so Anna and the guys left and they headed over to Anna's old school and went in and she walked in teh office

"Thanks"so Anna and the guys walked over to Ms.Rectors room and went in and she had a class
"Oh my god Anna my favorite student"and Rector walked over by her and the guys and was gonna give Anna a hug

"That kid's a mini me"and she was laughing and Rector spoke

"Oh cool"and then Tre took an Exop marker and wrote on the board in big letters 'Green Day rules' and Anna laughed a little

"I will,bye"so they walked out and Anna spoke
"I wanna show you guys something"so she started walking and the guys followed until they got to this curb corner on campus
"Everyday back before I met you guys I used to sit here everyday at recess with my Green Day FAQ book and have a little sanity,just this was one of the places that shaped me and I just wanted to show you"and Billie gave her a gentle hug

"Heck yes"so they headed over to Shorewood and got his address and they got there and Anna knocked on the door and Zach answered

"Yeah"and the guys all said hi to Zach and Billie's phone rang so he stepped away a little to answer it and it was their manager

"You guys just got nominated for the MTV Music Awards for Best Music Video"
"Oh my god really,St.Insomnia got nominated"

"That will make Anna's day,bye man"
"Bye"so he walked back over by everyone and spoke

"Well I'll just have Zach take my place"and Zach was in pure shock and excitement

"Yep"so they practiced,well Anna and Billie both helped show Zach the cords to the songs and he caught on really fast,so Anna sat back and watched them practice and she was smiling,knowing she is making her best friend's world,so after some more practicing,thye packed up and headed over the Rave and set up and did a soundcheck and then relaxed until the show started,so the next thing Anna knew the guys,Joan,and Zach were walking across the stage and Billie spoke
"How you doin Milwaukee"and he got cheers back
"Well this show is to celebrate the St.Insomnia music video being nominated for the MTV Music Awards for Best Music Video"and the crowd lost it
"Yeah,and you might be wondering where Anna is but she is chilling with my wife backstage,Youngblood wanna come out here"and Anna walked over by Billie
"How creative Anna is I swear the video would have never been nominated without her and I'm proud to say that it was her first music video with us and i couldn't be happier or more proud along with Mike,Tre,Joan,and my wife Adrienne it was awesome"and now he wasn't speaking in the mic and looked at Anna

"The reason I'm not playing is because I had top surgery,and my best friend here Zach is awesome enough to take my place,he's the best"and she went back over by Billie and gave him the mic back

"Yep"so Anna went and grabbed the T-shirt cannon and shot some shirts into the crowd and the last one she shot hit something, a little framed picture of Green Day,and broke it and it fell on the ground and she went over by Billie and took the mic

"Hey at least it was our band and not someone else's"so they jumped into St.Insomnia and Anna went and chilled on a random amp and was smiling at the fact she was making her best friend's world, I mean playing with Green Day, who wouldn't want to do that,so the show went on and they played through Unconsious Perception, Anna had a really bad feeling that something happened or was gonna happen,but she pushed it aside,so just her being curious she got up and went backstage and pulled out her phone and called believe it or not her mom and she answered
"Hey mom did something happen"

"Ah shit,where's the funeral"

"And Anna I think it would be best for your own good if you didn't go"

"Lets go"so they grabbed left over spray paint,from the St.Insomnia video and drove over by the bridge and got out and went down by the river and Anna took the can of red and spray painted, 'St. Jimmy' on there then took the green 'FUCK DONALD TRUMP' then orange 'Oakland Coffee', blue 'FUCK TOSA' then Billie took the black and spray painted 'Hey Ho Lets Go', red, a rage and love symbol, and blue, a smilely face and they stepped back and looked at their work
''Nice"and Billie started laughing
"God we're dumb"
"Yep,wanna go before shift change for the CA"

"Corrupted Assholes,Tosa cops"and Billie laughed
"Nice and yeah lets go"so they drove a little bit then headed home
"So its like 3:30, what the fuck"Anna said
"Well we can just sleep on the plane since its a four hour flight"

"The football field by the skate park"

"You'll see lets go"so they headed over to the foot ball field and went on the field and Anna laid down and spoke

"Yeah"so they star gazed for hours and the sun rise was even more amazing,because they went on top of the blechers and watched it rise and Anna was smiling to death, which made Billie smile

"No idea"and they were both smiling and happy,and just sat back and watched the morning rise and Billie started laughing

"Yeah"and Anna grabbed her phone and went on Instagram because she remembered that today was the day that she first met Billie,a year ago, so she found a couple pictures of her,the guys,and Adrienne all together and in the caption wrote:
Today a year ago I met these amazing people,out of a freak accident,how much shit we've went through together and dealt with,I thank you one million times fucking over,I love all of you and here's why
-Billie Joe Armstrong(Billo)-You took me in after I had nowhere to go after that freak accident,you taught me how to play guitar,gave me me own kick ass guitar,you took me to the places that my dad was gonna,but couldn't, I got to work with my favorite band and idols because of you,you helped me through breakdowns you always cheer me up,you have an amazing fucking music taste,you are one of the most adorable people in the world,you stay up with me at three in the morning,star gazing,you have a heart like almost no one else in the world,you have always backed me up and got me through some shit,and surprise me with the most kick ass things ever,I'll always be your Youngblood,love ya, Billo.
-Adrienne Armstrong(80)-You are like a mom to me since I don't have one,you love me like a daughter,you are the coolest person ever,you defended me and protected me and help me through though shit,you allowed me to be happy and comfortable in my own body,you are amazing,you got me a necklace as a family tradition,since in your eyes you see me as a daughter,I love you, you are the best,you made sure my mom got the message and she was done and out of my life,I can always come to you with anything and I know you will never judge me because you love and care about me,love ya 80.
-Mike Dirnt-fellow caffine lover,you're awesome,you always made sure I had coffee,so I didn't loose my shit on anyone,you helped cheer me up after breakdowns,you defended me and just you're awesome,the most kick ass bass player ever,you along with everyone else has helped me through some serious shit and are always in my corner,you help me with songs and have kick ass fashion sense,and I am proud to play along side you,love ya Mike.
-Tre Cool-The world's most dangerous drummer,you always make me laugh and put a smile on my face with your legendary jokes,no moment is ever dull when you're around,you make my dad the happiest person on Earth,to play along side you,you always back me up,have helped me through stuff and have supported me,you are Awesome as Fxxk,you understand my sense on humor,so we could joke for hours,you're awesome and help cheer me and are always there for me and did I mention awesome,love ya Tre.
I got nothing these four people have changed my live for the better and continue to save me everyday just by exisiting, you put a smile on my everyday,I love all of you,you have always backed me up,cheered me up,and cared about me and you have went through hell and back with me and challenged my fucked up past so far,through asthma attacks,breakdowns,being beat up and everything else along the way,I love you guys with all my heart, you all are awesome,you helped my dad through a lot and I'm eternally greatful for that,hey ho let's go,and a green,red,purple,and black heart emoji.
And she posted it and she spoke
"Check your Instagram"so Billie pulled his phone out and checked his Instagram and saw Anna's post and read it and he had a smile on his face,so he found a picture of him and Anna and wrote the caption:
A year ago today I met this adorable, kick ass,amazing,caffine, music loving, amazing Youngblood, everything we have went through and all the fun,kick ass times,I wouldn't change a thing,she is an amazing perfromer,guitar player,skateboarder,and person,no words, I lover her,she's my little Youngblood,I love you Youngblood,and a purple ad black heart emoji.
And he posted it
"Now check your Instagram"so Anna did and saw Billie's post and read it and smiled and gave him a hug

"Yeah,well Starbucks is open by now wanna go hit it up"
"Sure,lets get outta here before anyone shows up"so they both stood up and almost fell over and laughed,so they walked over to Starbucks adn got coffee and then walked over for a little bit and woke up,well technically,and Billie was holding Anna's hand,one just because,and two he kinda figured she was worrying about the funeral,and walking around early in the morning when barely anyone was around was so peaceful,they went and sat up on the playground and listened to music for a little bit then went and hit up Starbucks again, more coffee for them and coffee for everyone else,so then they headed back to Scott's and Anna checked her phone and saw Billie's latest post on Instagram was a picture of her laying down in the grass and the caption said 'Youngblood star gazing with me' and she smiled and everyone was awake and Adrienne spoke
"Where were you guys"and Billie spoke
"Star gazing at the football field all night and check your Instagram"so Adrienne and the guys did and they saw both Anna and Billie's posts adn the guys and Adrienne all gave Anna hugs so Adrienne found a picture of her and Anna and wrote the caption:
This awesome punker came into my and Billie's life in an unexpected way,but she is amazing and I would not change anything good that has happened in the past year, she is like a daughter to me,I love her even though she stole my title as Youngblood,a laughing emoji, love you Youngblood.
And she posted it and Mike and Tre did the same and Anna smiled at the posts and Anna started laughing
"Its fucking 7:30 in the morning and we have to be in Vegas in fucking 5 hours,ha"and Billie started laughing
"Shit we didn't even pack"so everyone packed some stuff up and headed to the airport and waited a little bit then boarded their flight and landed in Vegas at like 11:45 so they got off their fight and Billie spoke
"Thats pretty nice we got 15 minutes to spare"so they got a ride to the hotel and got their rooms and Anna and the guys headed over to where the award ceremonie was being held,and people ran through the schedule and crap and as usual Anna felt outta place so her and Billie just walked around and crap so once they were done there they went to get whatever they were gonna wear tonight,so the guys got whatever they were gonna wear and Anna was just like Bad Reputation as a fucking person, black high-top converse, purple skinny jeans,kinda loose,a studded belt, a Ramones shirt and a leather jacket and Mike obviously gave her a high five or two for her kick ass taste in style,so they headed back to the hotel and got ready and when everyone saw Anna in what she was gonna wear,plus black eyeliner outlining her eyes everyone was blown away and Billie spoke
"St.Insomnia in the fucking flesh"and Joan spoke
"Damn kid you got style"and Anna spoke
"Can we high jack another limo or some shit"and Billie started laughing
"I don't see why not"
"Awesome"so once everyone was ready to go they went down in the lobby and boom a limo is sitting right outside so they went out and got in the limo and Billie told the driver a lie to get him outta the car and then he jummped in the front seat and fucking punched it and everyone is just having a riot laughing,in the back and how he got them to the award ceremonie in one piece and on time they had no fucking idea,so they went in and sat through other awards being given and performances,which were mostly pop and rap so then boom last award
"And the award for Best Music Video goes to....Green Day for St.Insomnia"and Adrienne and Joan gave Anna gentle hugs, and everyone around them was clapping, they do really save the best for last,and the next thing Anna knows,she's up on stage with the guys and Billie was up at the mic and spoke
"Thanks and a year ago today was the day that I met Anna,and mine,Mike,Tre,and Adrienne's lives welcomed a kick ass,strong,adorable,funny,take no shit little punker and we couldn't be happier and we would have never been nominated or even won this award if it wasn't for Anna,she is one of the most creative people ever and I love her,and she's toughin it out up on stage here,she had top surgery and is one of the best awesome people I know,and I am proud as fuck of her,along with my wife and Joan"and Billie stepped aside and Mike spoke
"I am proud to know that one year ago today that I met and amazing, kick ass punker and caffine lover and one day back in Wisconsin Anna and Billie went on a coffee run and came back and Billie asked Anna the idea she had for the St.Insomnia video and she told us and I thought it was really creative to begin with but what she did was take something so personal and familiar to her and turn it into something new,she used to roam the blocks of Tosa blasting music into her ears to escape reality and thats how the video starts,then she heads to a place where she felt at home and then just completely kicks it and lets lose and at the same time remembers and lets go of her past,my favorite music video"and Mike stepped aside and Tre spoke
"Damn, time goes by when you're having fun,with and Awesome as fuck punker, how was that one year ago anyway, we knew that where it was filmed was really special to her and her dad,sup Scott, and the idea was really unique but then watching it after it being done was just amazing,that's where she escaped her life and her past for a couple hours everyday and she always leaves her mark so thats what we made sure happened and I'm proud to say it was her first music video with us"and Tre stepped aside and Anna spoke
"I'm amazed that we won I honestly thought it was just some random idea,but apparently not and Mike you said that fucking perfectly,and that place will always be near my heart, McKinley Elementary school is my Christie Road, between having two homes that place was my real home,that was my happy place,anyway I'm happy as hell that it was my first music video with these three kick ass people behind me,and thank you for this and all the love and support thank you"and she stepped aside and everyone was clapping and Billie gave Anna a gentle hug,so as they were walking off stage all of a sudden Anna felt really sick,like fever sick and she almost fell over but Billie caught her and she spoke
"Billie I don't feel good"and he felt her forehead
"Shit you're burning up"and so they went back by Adrienne and Joan and Billie spoke
"She's burning up"so they high tailed it to the nearest hospital and went in the ER and she was addmitted and everyone was patiently waiting and worried and Joan spoke
"What happened"
"I don't know she almost fell over and I caught her and she said she didn't feel good and I felt her forehead and she was burning up"so about 20 minutes later a doctor came out and spoke to them
"Anna had a really bad fever and we're gonna have to keep her here overnight until it breaks"
"Okay,can we see her"
"Yes"so the doctor led them to her room and she was passed out,like dead passed out,and Billie sat down in a chair next to her bed and just looked at her,not in a creepy way,and everyone relaxed and eventually passed out,except for Billie he stayed up to make sure that Anna was okay,there goes another 24.
