Ch.90 Oh Yeah!

So a few days had passed and now they were really kicking the new album to the hella mega level, so it hadn't been announced that they were going to be releasing a new album because they were still working on songs, it was a Saturday and Anna had woken up early, like sunrise early, went downstairs and made coffee, the usual and she was sitting on the counter, thinking about the songs Billie had shown her and the shows she showed him and stuff, so she wanted to go cruise around, so she hopped down off the counter to go see if Billie was up and right when she did that, Billie walked in the kitchen and she spoke
"Morning Billo"
"Morning Youngblood"he said with a sleepy smile, while making a cup of coffee and Anna just laughed at him a little and spoke
"You're very adorable when you wake up, with your crazy bed head"and Billie just laughed at that and spoke
"Look who's talking Youngblood"he said smiling
"Yeah yeah, well wanna go for a ride"
"Sure"and he started laughing and spoke
"Don't take this the wrong way Youngblood, but you keep me young, damn I should not be able to do what I do at my age"and Anna spoke
"A body in motion stays in motion"
"True"so they both went their separate ways and got ready, then grabbed their boards and headed out, skating and the sunrise was beautiful,so eventually they found a spot to chill and just sat there and Billie spoke
"So Youngblood, whatcha think about working on the album some more today" and she immediately smiled and nodded and spoke
"I will never say no to that"and Billie just smiled at her and spoke
"Work on the songs I wrote, I may have written some more, and the songs you wrote,and all together we have 10 songs, and for sure we're putting 'I am Nowhere' on there and most likely the two other songs I wrote of the lyrics you found and yeah"
"Sounds good"she said smiling and Billie smiled at her and spoke
"The conclusion I have come to is that you do not mess with your gay, Green Day loving, short as hell, crackhead self"and Anna laughed a little
"Accurate" so they headed back home and Billie called over the guys and they got down to business working on songs, they first worked on the songs Anna wrote and stuff, then worked on other songs and they were sounding pretty good so far, and for some weird reason Anna had this bad gut feel, which never means anything good and her phone rang, she looked at who was calling her and it was her younger cousin Ella, she'd forgot that she's given Ella her number last time she saw her, so she answered it and was met with the sound of her cousin crying and spoke
"Ella, what's wrong"
"My mom's in big trouble, sh-she got a DWI and the state might take my brother away from her"
"Calm down,it's okay, it's okay, just take a deep breath, breathe"and she helped her younger cousin calm down and the guys were looking at her concerned
"Tell me what happened"and her cousin spoke
"My mom was supposed to go into the Navy, be she freaked out, then left her boyfriend's house in Indiana, drunk, with my little brother in the car, it was bad"and Anna already knew in her head that her aunt was going to have multiple charges, such as child endangerment, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and she knew her aunt had a 'problem' with booze, she mental cursed to herself and spoke
"Okay, this mess will get figured out, can I ask you, and answer honestly please, do you think what also went into your mom freaking out was my mom's death"
"Maybe, it made her really sad"and Anna had memories playing over in her head of when her mom would sit on the phone for hours with her aunt
"Okay,um what does your dad say"
"He's really let himself go, and his wife doesn't like it" Anna kept mentally swearing to herself
"Do you need me there"
"Yeah, I have almost no one at this point, I'm sorry"and her cousin started crying again
"Hey hey no, it's not your fault, you have nothing to be sorry about, I love you, I'll be right back okay"
"Okay" and she knew if she went and got her cousin it was going to stir up some bad blood, as in her fucked up grandpa, and all her mom's southern roots and so she muted her phone and looked at the guys and spoke
"My cousin needs me and it's gonna stir up some bad blood, if I show up down south, but I honestly don't give a fuck, my cousin needs me and is in a situation she doesn't need to be in" so she explained it all and was almost in tears by the end of it, and well it looked like they were heading down south, so Anna unmuted her phone and Facetimed her cousin and she answered and saw how sad her cousin was and she was going to try and cheer her up and she spoke
"Wanna say hi to Billie, Mike, and Tre"and her cousin nodded, so she flipped her camera and the guys said hi, and made some goofy faces to tried and cheer her up, then flipped the camera back on her and spoke
"I'll be down there tonight okay, just don't tell anyone I'm coming okay"
"Okay, thanks Anna"
"You're welcome, I'm your older cousin, it's my job"she said smiling
"Yeah I guess" her cousin said and Anna could tell that she was still really freaked out and scared
"Bye, Ella, I'll see you soon'
"Bye, Anna, okay" and Anna hung up and just stood there, gripping her hair and spoke
"Jesus fucking Christ, I can't even, I know her mom's done stupid shit and not gotten her life together, but damn, sign the rights of your children away, freak the fuck out about going into the Navy, then get popped for DWI with your kid in the car in another state" and the guys were kinda blown away by the stupidity of the situation and Anna spoke
"I think I could figure something out with her dad, would it be okay if we went and got her, then she stayed here until a tour date in Kentucky"and Billie spoke
"Of course Youngblood, if your cousin needs people behind her, then that's what she's gonna get" he said smiling and Anna was just sitting there with all the possible shit that could happen as a result of going down there to get her cousin and she spoke
"Remember the thing with my fucked up southern grandpa" and Anna immediately saw the rage in the guys' eyes when she said that and they all nodded
"Well, his family might be a problem when we go down there and no one can keep shit on the down low there, but hey after we get my cousin, I can take you guys some cool places there that not a lot of people know about, to take the edge off"and Anna was trying to make this the best stiuation possible, well you know what I mean, and Billie gave her a hug because he knew she needed one
"It'll be okay Youngblood"and she sighed and started laughing and spoke
"I mean between the four of us, that kid will for sure be laughing and have a smile on her face"and then she remebered something and her smile dropped and she spoke
"Fuck, her brothers are with their dads and she won't get to see them, that'll break her heart"and she wanted to cry, she was done with her family's bullshit even if they're cut off , she wanted to cry, trash shit, or just lose it at this point, but she couldn't, so working on the album was clearly a wrap for today, Scott was out skating the world, so the guys and Anna went and found Adrienne and explained to her what was going on, next thing they know, they're all on a flight to Kentucky, they landed at about noon and they headed over to Ella's dad's house and Anna knocked on the door and Ella answered and immediately hugged her and started crying and Anna spoke
"Hey it's okay I'm here now" and Ella stopped crying and her dad came to the door and spoke
"What's going on-wait Anna is that you"
"Yeah, how's it going Adam"
"Good-and Green Day is behind you"
"Yeah, I'm in Green Day"and Anna could tell that he really let himself go and she spoke
"Would it be okay, if I took Ella back to California with me for a while, she'd be back at the end of summer"
"That sounds good, um you guys can come in"
"Thanks"so Anna and Adrienne went and helped Ella packed her stuff up and the guys talked to Adam and stuff, so once Ella's stuff was all packed up they left and Anna spoke
"Ella think they'd like Clear Creek" and her cousin smiled and spoke
"Yeah, and show them Graffiti Rock" and seeing her cousin smile made her day, and they explained to the guys and Adrienne what they were talking about , and it was a little drive but once they got there they parked and got out and Anna spoke
"This is my mom's side of the family's land so we can be here"and she immediately tagged her cousin
"You're it"and Ella chased after Anna in the big open field and so Ella tagged Billie and then they all were just playing tag and it was really fun and Anna warned the guys and Adrienne about water mocasins, i cant spell, and not to go near water, so after running around for a while, Anna and Ella showed them the Graffiti Rock, it's this huge rock you can walk out on that's just covered in graffiti, so obviously Anna brought a can of spray paint with and Billie was just laughed
"Damn Youngblood"and the guys and Adrienne were speechless at the view and the whole rock itself, so Anna spray painted some stuff on there, so did Ella and Billie and if you don't get out of Clear Creek before sunset, well you're basically fucked, so they left and stuff and so thery hopped on another flight back to California and were back in Oakland at around six, and Anna and Ella went upstairs and Anna helped her unpack and get situated and they were just chilling in her room,sitting on her bed and Anna spoke
"I can introduce you to everyone else tomorrow, and you're gonna have a lot of fun with your kick ass big cousin"and Ella just laughed and smiled and spoke
"So what's it like here in California"
"Really fun, between the music scene, skate scene, or just a lot, hey you get to say you have a famous relative"
"Yay, I do" and Anna was happy that Ella was happy and spoke
"Wait, I have an idea, we're working on a new album, would you wana hear some of it and watch"
"Of course"
"Alright, let's go" so they headed downstairs and Billie was laughing to death and Anna spoke
"What's so funny"
"With Ella here it's like how we met all over again, kinda"and Anna started laughing
"You're right"she said laughing
"Um think Ella could listen or watch us work on the new album"
"Of course"and the guys were still there, so they all headed down into the studio and were working on songs and Ella was just watching, so in awe and depth, since she'd never seen stuff like this before and Billie had written this song called Meet Me on the Roof and it had such a catchy tune to it, so Anna grabbed Ella's hand and started dancing with her and Ella was laughing, smiling, and having fun and Anna was just smiling and it was fun, so after working on some more songs, being dorks, and having fun, they were done working on it for today, so they went upstairs, cranked the music on and just had a dance party and were singing,dancing, laughing, smiling, and having fun, and dance parties are always the best, so then everyone just chilled and Anna spoke
"If you hear anyone say Youngblood, that's my nickname and they're talking about me, if you hear someone say Billo, we're talking about Billie, and if you hear someone say 80, they're talking about Adrienne, just so you're not confused"and Ella nodded and Anna explained her name deal to her and her whole gender thing and she understood and stuff and introduced her cousin to Bandit and little Billie, and well Ella was in puppy heaven, so that was good and Anna was just happy as hell that Ella was happy and she could have passed as high because of how much she was smiling and Billie was smiling at Anna because of how happy she was and he spoke
"So Ella, what music you like" and Ella spoke
"Maroon 5, Green Day, and some other stuff" and Anna was trying to hold back laughter and then just started laughing and spoke
"Ella, remember that one Thanksgving weekend that we chilled in my mom's basement and watched Ordinary World" and Elle started laughing and Anna spoke
"I had you saying you love Green Day and that Billie was adorable and well fuck now I remember why I said I would never listen to 'Oh Love' the same ever again" and her and Ella were just laughing 
"God I got so sick after that, we both did"and they were both smiling and Ella and Anna shared a very common ground of their messed up family and Anna spoke
"So Miss Ella whatcha wanna do"
"I don't know" and Anna remembered something and spoke
"Remember that same Thanksgiving weekend I taught you how to skateboard, you still skate"
"Yeah"and the guys and Adrienne were laughing and Anna spoke
"Well I'm a pro-skateboarder"and her cousin was in shock

"Yeah, well I know Tony Hawk"
"Really"
"Yeah"and they were just laughing a little
"So wanna skate"
"Yeah" so Anna grabbed two of her boards and they headed outside and Anna showed Ella her pro board and showed her and helped her with the basics again and Billie eventually came outside by them and skated with them and they had fun, so after Ella was skated out, her, Anna, and Billie went for a drive and the sun was setting so it was pretty, and they just drove around and listened to, well blasted music and had fun, they showed Ella some of Oakland and it was a good time, so eventually they headed back home and Anna and Ella went upstairs and just relaxed and Ella spoke
"Um so do I call you Andy or Anna"and Anna showed Ella the different colored hair ties she uses
"Purple is Anna and green is Andy, which ever hair tie I have on my wrist, then I go by that name that day, but Billie,Adrienne, and the guys just call me Youngblood"
"Oh cool
"Yeah"and Anna could tell something was bothering Ella, like she wanted to say something and Ella spoke
"So what are you today"
"Andy"
"Cool, um so a while ago my mom told me that I wasn't going to see her dad again, why though"and Anna spoke
"Um well back when your mom told you that, he came to Wisconsin and I had cut off my mom for reasons and she told him everything and he got really mad and was drinking and high at the time and he came to my dad's house and it was me, Billie, Mike, Tre, Adrienne, and Joan there and Billie tried to make him stop yelling and he called me a bunch of really bad stuff and he punched Billie and he slapped me and Billie tried to see if I was okay and he kicked Billie in the face and then he kicked me all over and me and Billie ended up in the hospital and he was arrested and now he can't hurt anyone anymore" and Ella looked like she was going to cry and Anna spoke
"It's okay, it's all over now, do you remember all that stuff I told you about grandma" and Ella nodded
"Well I told you that stuff, so it would save you from getting hurt in the future, there's a lot of stuff about a lot of people we're related to that I won't tell you until you're older, but there is stuff that I will tell you, to protect you, the only people I'm related to that I haven't cut out of my life are my dad, my aunt Laurie, and you, but I have Billie, Adrienne, Mike, Tre, and all the other awesome people that love and care about me"and she gave her cousin a hug
"Just don't feel sad for me, and I know that's easier said then done, here I have an idea, I can show you some of our shows, you'll probably laugh"
"That sounds good" and Anna now knew her dad's perspective when he used to tell her stuff, so she got up to grab her computer and her cousin spoke
"Um Andy I can ask you anything right"
"Anything"Anna said smiling and Ella spoke
"Why are you flat chested"and Anna started laughing, she remembered that she didn't fully explain her gender to her cousin and she spoke
"Well I'm genderfluid, sometimes I'm a girl, sometimes I'm a boy, sometimes I'm both, or sometimes I'm neither, I'm barely ever a girl, but I had this thing called gender dysphoria, its where I felt really insucure about different parts of my body and in my mind they didn't identify with the gender I was born with, so Adrienne got me a chest binder to help with my dysphoria and I took medication for it, but that only helped to a point so I got something called top surgery, where basically I got my chest removed, I have no boobs basically, so I'm flat chested, the top part of my body is technically male and the bottom part is female, and yeah"
"Oh, that's cool"
"Yeah, and it's California and I can legally be shirtless"Anna said laughing, so she sat back down next to her cousin and went on YouTube and found St.Insomnia Night and pushed play and she was just sitting there smiling, at all of them being dorks and having fun and her cousin was laughing and smiling and stuff and they were through probably not even half of it and Ella fell asleep, so Anna closed her computer, got off her bed and covered her cousin up and gave her a kiss on her forehead and whispered
"Night Miss Ella Bella"and headed downstairs and Mike and Tre had left, so it was just Billie and Adrienne just chilling and she went and sat down and spoke
"She's out" and Billie spoke
"How is she"
"Good,given the situation, and she asked about her she doesn't see our crazy southern fucked up grandpa anymore, well not her words, but when he got arrested her mom told her that she wasn't going to see him again and she asked why and I told her, but the really bizarre thing is that I share common grounds with an 11 year old on the fucked up people we're related to, I've told her some stuff to save her from being hurt in the future but there is stuff I won't tell her until she's older, she's kinda like my little sister, she's always looked up to me and I've always had her back and stuff, I'm just worried about her"and she was super fucking worried about her cousin, she didn't need to be in this situation, and Anna didn't need to be blamed for starting a whole other fucking family war down South, just for taking her cousin out of a bad situation, she knew no one she was related to could keep their mouth shut, so it was going to get around eventually that she took her cousin to California and she was so zoned out talking that she didn't even realize that Billie was talking to her, until he shook her shoulder a little bit
"Hey Youngblood, what's wrong"he said with a concerned look
"It's going to get around eventually that I brought my cousin to California, my phone's going to blowing up from all those motherfuckers, I took her out of a situation she doesn't need to be in and I'm going to be the enemy, even though I cut almost everyone off, they still blow up my phone when I actually deal with a family matter, I didn't do anything wrong, for all I know I started a whole other fucking war between Wisconsin and Kentucky, in Wisconsin they all fucking hate me, in Kentucky, they dislike me to a point, everyone in Wisconsin is going to tell everyone in Kentucky a bunch of bad shit about me and then it's not going to be good"and she was ready to have an anxiety attack and Billie gave her a hug
"It's okay Youngblood, it's going to be okay, you did nothing wrong and it'll be okay and I swear to fucking god if those motherfuckers mess with you again, they're not going to like any of us, we'll make damn sure of it, I'm done with them hurting you and just everything" and Anna saw pure rage and fire in her eyes and he did not sound like he was messing around and Adrienne spoke
"I'll clock all those bitches if I have too"and Anna laughed a little
"Thanks 80"and she spoke
"Of course Youngblood"and Anna was just worried as fuck, about her cousin and the situation getting worse because of her cut off family and she couldn't do anything about it, which pissed her off but she it was just going to be day by day, she knew she probably wasn't going to sleep very much tonight, but she was also worn out, so she got up and spoke
"Night Billo, night 80" and gave them both hugs
"Night Youngblood"they both said at the same time and she headed upstairs, grabbed a blanket and pillow and was crashing on the couch in her room tonight, and she was worrying, wanted to cry, but was too tired to cry and to go back downstairs, so she just grabbed her bear and passed out.
