Ch. 10 St.Insomnia

That night Anna didn't sleep because she was up looking at the pictures that Adrienne had taken of her and Billie and crying, happy tears because they really did feel like family and at how much they have done for her, how kind they have been to her and scrolling through pictures of her dad and thinking back to all or most of the bad stuff her toxic family has said or done to her and at like 9am she heard a knock on her door and responded with a quiet
"Come in" then Billie came in and saw that Anna had been crying and shooken up and sat down on her bed and instantly hugged her and spoke
"Hey, hey it's okay what's wrong"
"N-Nothing I-I was j-just l-looking at the p-pictures t-that Adrienne took o-of us and I-I was s-scrolling t-through pictures of m-my dad and thinking b-back on some b-bad memories" and the more Billie hugged her the more she seemed to calm down and then she spoke
"It's just that I was crying because I was thinking about how much you guys have done for me and how much you guys are like family and how kind and sweet you guys have treated me and those pictures that Adrienne took of us reminded me of that and plus I really really miss my dad" then Anna started crying again in Billie's arms and he calmed her down again
"Thanks Billie"she said in a small voice
"Of course" Billie said with a sweet smile, then he noticed how sleep deprived Anna looked and spoke
"You look terrible did you get any sleep"
"No but it's fine I can role on no sleep, something I also didn't tell you I suffer from on and off again insomnia"
"Same, but I've slept every night that you have been here for some weird reason"
"Oh cool, so coffee ?"
"Yeah let's go" then they walked down to the kitchen where Mike and Tre were sitting
"Hi Anna" Mike said
"Hey Anna" Tre said
"Hi guys'' Anna said after taking a drink of her coffee and thank god it was strong it definetly woke her up, then she spoke
"So what are you guys doing here" and Tre spoke
"Well Billie called us over so we could start working on the songs for the albums more and recording them, with you of course" Anna didn't know if she was not fully awake or Tre just really said that she was going to work and play on the album with them
"Really" she said in excitement, then Mike spoke
"Yeah you are kick ass at guitar and Billie told us that you made your own song and he wants to put it on the album"
"Yeah" then Adrienne walked in and saw how bad Anna looked and pulled Billie into the living room and spoke
"What's wrong with her"
"She didn't sleep last night because she was up crying looking at the pictures you took of us and at pictures of her dad because she really misses him"
"Oh well I'm gonna make sure she sleeps tonight"
"Also she didn't tell us that she also suffers from on and off again insomnia like me"
"Oh"
"Yeah she told me that its fine and she can role on no sleep and for some weird reason I've slept every night since she's been here"
"Well let's get back so they don't think anything bad" so they walked back into the kitchen and Mike,Tre,and Anna were all discussing the songs already then Billie spoke
"Hey talking about the album without me" he said in a joking tone, while smiling
"Noooo" Anna said dramatically while laughing
"Well okay so should we get started" both Tre and Mike nodded their heads and followed Billie down to the studio and just as Anna started following them, Adrienne gently grabbed her arm and said
"Hey can we talk" in a calm tone
"Sure'' then Anna followed Adrienne into the living room and sat down on the couch to talk then Adrienne spoke
"So Billie told me that you deal with on and off again insomnia if its okay with you can you tell me why you think you do"
"Well I haven't had it here at all or felt it so that's good but I have it back in Wisconsin at my mom's because it is so crazy and noisy at her house that I have no peace or kinda place of my own so I stay up all night so I can have some peace and quiet and its nice watching the day start and we live in a bad area so I can't go outside away from everyone so night time is my time in a way and plus my mom gets pissed if I have earbuds in all the time and yells and gets mad at me so the quiet is nice and plus it runs in my family"and in a spilt second Anna felt Adrienne's arms around her, then she spoke
"I'm sorry that you have to put yourself through that just to have some peace"
"Its okay, I'm used to it by now and I don't want you to be upset and this is about the time Billie walks in and one of us is in tears" she said laughing a little
"Yeah" she said in a joking tone and right on time Billie came into the room and Anna spoke again
"Right on time" she said laughing then Billie spoke
"Just talking" he said in a calm tone, with a small, soft smile
"Yeah"
"Well the guys are all set up if you are up to coming down and playing"and Anna practically jumped off the couch
"Hell yeah"
"Well let's go then" he said smiling, so they headed down to the studio and everything was set up then Anna spoke
"So what's the plan"
"Well run through the album, record each song, repeat till we feel we've done good and everything is perfect"
"Okay" so then they did just that until they did it a hundred times over then Mike and Tre stayed for dinner as usual they laughed and joked to the point Billie, Tre, and Anna all fell of their chairs laughing to death, after dinner Mike and Tre left and it was pretty late then Billie spoke
"It's pretty late I think we should all go to bed, whata you think"
"I agree" then Billie and Adrienne noticed the sad look on Anna's face then Adrienne spoke
"Hey its okay I'm gonna make sure that you get some good sleep okay" Anna nodded her head
"I have an idea" so then all three of them came into Anna's room with her and once Anna was comfortable in bed Billie spoke
"I'll be right back"then Anna laid there with a confused look on her face
"His idea was to sing you to sleep"
"Oh that sounds like a good idea" and Anna felt almost like a little kid and felt really useless and small at that feeling, then Billie came into the room with an aucostic guitar and pulled up a chair and sat down then Adrienne spoke
"I'm gonna go so you can fall asleep okay" Anna nodded her head and Adrienne hugged her and told her good night then Billie played every slow,aucostic Green Day song until she passed out and that was that.
