Ch.48 I Fought The Law

The next morning Anna woke up and felt that something was off, and they weren't playing a show tonight so it was kinda a free day,so she got up and went out in the living room where everyone was,and Mike gave her a cup of coffee
"Thanks"she said sitting down
"Yep" and Billie turned to her and spoke
"So we talked to your dad and he is completely fine with it but after yesterday we were thinking that it would be a good idea for your dad to have full custody of you,so basically she has no say over you what so ever and won't get to see you,so you basically,legally cut her out for good"and Anna tackled him in a hug
"That sounds awesome,I wanna be the one to hand her those fucking papers,I can't wait to see her face"she said smiling,and that made all of them smile and Adrienne spoke
"I'm glad your happy"and she gave her a hug
"So what do we do know"
"Well we can't tell your mom until we have the papers and go before a judge,because then she might try and get custody"
"Yeah I don't wanna be in an all out custody battle"
"Yeah no"and then Billie's phone rang,so he got up and went outside,it was Scott
"Hey Billie,I just went down to court and filed for custody and got the papers"
"Okay,we already told Anna and she was really happy about it"
"Good,well I'm gonna come drop the papers,then I gotta go back to work"
"Okay man see you in a little bit,bye"
"Bye"so Billie hung up and went back inside and spoke
"So Scott filed for custody and got the papers and is gonna drop them off"
"Okay"and Anna was just smiling like an idiot and Billie noticed
"Huh"
'Just what I'm gonna do and destory her world even more"she said laughing
"God she's gonna have such a rude awakening,ha she's gonna get what she finally deserves after all these years"and she was just smiling,and how happy she was brought pure joy to everyone and they were smiling and Billie just smiled and gave her a hug and spoke
"I'm happy that you're happy"
"Thanks"and a few minutes later Scott showed up and dropped off the papers
"Hey guys here are the papers,I gotta head back to work"and Anna gaver her dad a hug and spoke
"K bye love you"
"Love you too kiddo"so Scott left,and Anna jumped on the coffee table and started dancing,which made everyone laugh and smile,and she fell off,and everyone was just laughing and Billie spoke
"So you wanna go tell her and get your stuff"
"Hell yeah"so Anna ran back in her room and grabbed the little framed picture of her mom that was given to her,and went and ran back in the living room smiling
"Lets go"so they all headed over to her mom's house and let herself in and the guys and Adrienne followed,and her mom and her grandma were both in the living room along with her stupid husband and walked in there with the guys and Adrienne standing behind her and she spoke
"Hey remember me"
"Anna what the hell are you doing here"and she jumped up on the coffee table and shoved the papers in her mom's face
"You can't fucking control me anymore,see me anymore,or know me anymore"and her mom's face was priceless
"What the fuck is this"
'Custody papers,so you got jack shit on me,your not my parent anymore"and she jumped off the table and smashed the picture on the table and glass shattered everywhere and she jumped back on the table and kick glass all around and yelled
"FUCK YOU"in her mom's face,then she jumped off and in her room,grabbed her posters and other stuff and took a can of spray paint that she had hidden in her room and spray painted FUCK YOU in giant black letters on her walls and St.Insomnia and then walked back out and it legit looked like Billie was about to get in a fist fight or something,and she jumped on the coffee table and made it break in half and all of them flipped her mom off and and then they left and when she walked outside she died laughing
"God that was awesome"and Billie was smiling,because of how happy she was and spoke
"Celebratory ice cream"and they all agreed,so they to Baskin Robbins and got ice cream and went up on the roof of the church and ate their ice cream and Billie spoke
"So we have to be in family court tomorrow at like 11:00"
"Okay,can't wait"so they just hung out on the roof for a little bit then Anna saw her buddies
"Hey guys come up here"so they climbed up there and sat down next to them
"Hey guys"
"Hi,so what trouble did you get into today"
"Served my mom custody papers,broke some shit,spray painted the walls and told them all to fuck off"
"Nice"
"Yeah'
'Oh shit,thats my old man's car we gotta go"
"Good luck bye guys"so her buddies darted,and so they just went back home and relaxed and listened to music,and had a good time,and when Mike,Tre,and Adrienne passed out,so Anna and Billie sat outside on the porch,on the steps and had a little radio and listened to music and Billie saw that Anna looked upset
"Hey whats wrong"
"Nothing just after today like I just keep thinking about shit in the past that my mom did,that I didn't tell you about"
"Well can you tell me,because if its serious that will help us tomorrow"
"Yeah,like there three times that my mom physically abused me,the first time I don't remember because I was only three,but my dad told me what happened,apparently she got really mad or something and I was sitting on a higher up stool and she pulled my arm,to get me off the stool and she almost broke my arm and my dad lost it on her after,then when I was five I was messing around with her and I didn't know any better and I was playfully hitting her but I didn't know better and she slapped me across the face so hard my cheek was red for two days,and my dad yelled at her after that,and the last time I was ten and she was yelling at my dad on the phone for a stupid reason and then she yelled at me and I was doing homework,and I whiped my pencil a her,then my bottle of water,and threw my math book off the table then ran out in the stair case and she followed me and put my hands behind my back like she was arresting me and squeezed them so hard I had bruises and then she ran me through the house and threw me down on her bed and yelled and swore at me and she and my grandma both blamed me for the bruises"and by the time she was done,Billie was in tears and hugged her
'I'm so sorry that she did that to you and after tomorrow you won't have to worry about that anymore,and I love you,god I hate her"
"I love you too and I hate her too"and Anna wiped Billie's eyes and he smiled and she smiled,so they sat out on the porch and listened to music and Anna leaned up against Billie and accidently passed out,and he looked down at her and saw that she was passed out and smiled so he carried her in the house and put her in bed and gave her a kiss on her forehead and whispered a small 'goodnight' and left so she could sleep,and he couldn't sleep so he went back out and sat on the porch and just listened to music and just waited for tomorrow.
