Ch.29 Brutal Love

The next day Billie and Anna woke up before everyoe else at like six and went on a early morning ride with little Billie and skated to Oakland Coffee and got coffee and skated around for a few hours,then headed back home and sat in the back yard with their coffee and little Billie and talked about what they were gonna do today and Billie spoke
"How about since we already rode the guys could get their butts down here and we could do everything together before and after the show"
"That sounds good, so like ice cream,park before the show then come back here practice,relax, then after the show pool party and movie,hang out and fun'
"That sounds 'bout right,I'll call the guys" so Billie pulled out his phone and called the guys to get their butts down there so they all could have a shit ton of fun together,so then Anna and Billie just laid in the grass waiting for Mike and Tre to show up and they showed up 15 minutes later
"Hey guys"
"Hi" both Anna and Billie said back
"So what did you guys have in mind"Mike asked,petting little Billie
"Go to the park then get ice cream" and Billie and Anna both had smirks on their faces
'What" then Anna spoke
"Notice anything different" and Mike and Tre looked at each other confused,then Anna turned her head a little bit
"Holy shit Billie you got the kid's nose pierced,thats awesome"
"Thats cool,Tre cool"Tre said smiling
"Really Tre' Billie said between luaghs
"I had an oppurtunity and I took it"
"Fair enough,I'm gonna go get Adrienne" so then Billie went it the house, where Adrienne was sitting at the kitchen table with Scott who was crying
"Um am I interrupting something"
"No Billie it's fine" Adrienne said as Scott wiped his eyes,and Billie just patted him on the back and spoke
"Me,the guys and Anna are leaving"
"Okay have fun"and Billie walked back out in the yard,where Tre was giving Anna a piggy back ride and Mike and little Billie were chasing them and Mike yelled
"Give me my hat back"
"Never' Anna said, and eventually they noticed Billie was standing there laughing and stopped and Anna gave Mike his hat back
"So where's Adrienne"
"Um she said she'll sit this out, she doesn't feel like it"
"Okay"so Billie went back in the house and grabbed the camera since Adrienne was dealing with Scott,then he came back out and they headed to the park with little Billie and right when they got there Anna tagged Tre
"Your it" and her and Mike darted to the playground and Billie stayed with little Billie by the bench and eventually Tre got Anna and when she came down off the playground Tre picked her up and threw her over he shoulder,laughing
"Payback"and Billie and Mike were both laughing
"Tre put me down"Anna said laughing
"We have to get Mike"
"Fair point"and Tre put Anna down,and both her and Tre are short so it was kinda hard trying to get Mike and thank god Anna had playing this game since she was 6 or else they wouldn't have got him,cause could Anna climb the playground with her eyes closed and she eventually tagged Mike
"Ha,got ya"
"Yeah yeah"so they walked over by Billie and little Billie and so they played with little Billie in a grass patch for a while then decided on ice cream,so they headed over to Baskin Robbins, Billie and Anna got mint chip ice cream,Tre got chocolate chip cookie dough,Mike got rocky road,and little Billie got his usual dish of vanilla,so they sat in the shade and talked,joked,laughed,and ate their ice cream,then after that Billie spoke
"Hey Anna can you go get a bottle of water for little Billie"Billie asked giving Anna some cash
"Sure"then once Anna was gone Billie spoke
"So when I walked in the house to go get Adrienne and walked in the kitchen and her and Scott were sitting at the table and Scott was crying and thats why she sat this out and I think it has to do with him feeling guilty and stuff and just don't say anything to Anna,I don't want her to be upset"
"Okay"
"Got it"then Anna came back with a bottle of water for little Billie,then Billie got up and looked at his phone
"Oh Adrienne's calling me" so Billie walked over where they could hear him
"Hey is Scott okay,like I didn't tell Anna but whats up"
"He was upset because I explained everything to him and he feels bad about him and Anna leaving becasue he doesn't want you to be upset and he feels guilty and he's been leaving during the day so you and Anna could spend time together because he feels guity about them having to leave"
"Oh god I don't want him to feel guity,okay tell him I'm not upset at all and everything's fine and that he shouldn't feel guilty and that its fine and ask him if he wants to play the gig tonight,that will make him feel better"
"Okay, I'll ask him, k bye'
'Bye" then Billie headed back by Mike,Tre and Anna
"Okay do you guys wanna head back and practice for tonight" and they all agreed so they headed back home and when they got there Scott was calmed down,smiling
"Hi dad"
"Hi guys,have fun"
"Yeah,well are you ready to jam"
"Of course"so they headed down to the studio and came up with a list of songs to play

And not in that exact order,so they practiced every song until it was time to leave for the show,so they left at six and got there then sat up and waited for people to file in and once everyone was there Billie spoke
"Hello California,how you doin"and the crowd just cheered like hell
"Good,well tonight is gonna be the best night ever here and be special because Anna and Scott are leaving tomorrow so lets give them the most crazy best fucking night of their lives alright" and the crowd went nuts as the jumped into Know Your Enemy, and they went throught the night playing slowly winding down and playing the more slow songs and Anna eventually crowd surfed and came back on stage and Billie just laughed and smiled they played in this order

And after they finished Thank You, Anna spoke
"Give it up for Mr.Billie Joe Armstrong,Mr.Mike Dirnt,Mr.Tre Cool and last but not least my kick ass dad, Mr.Scott Kushner,thank you and goodnight,we love you" and the crowd went crazy and eventually people left and so they packed up and headed out before they were see again and they were successful,and they headed home and immediately when they got home Billie turn music on by the pool,Anna took off her galsses and they both jumped in,making a huge splash,basically soking everyone,so then Mike and Tre jumped off the diving board into the pool and Scott and Adrienne just stood there laughed and then little Billie jumped in the pool and swam around, so they had a pool party,they swam,messed with each other,water gun fights,jumping off the diving board,hand stand competitions and relaxed and played in the pool with music for hours and a crap ton of fun and it was awesome,then a few hours later they got out of the pool and dried off and Mike and Tre called their wives to tell them they we gonna spend the night,so they headed back inside and changed into clean dry clothes,then grabbed soda and popcorn for movies,so they all sat on the couch and turned on some funny movies,then watched School of Rock then they finally watched Ordinary World and Anna passed out and Billie just smiled and spoke
"Guys look she passed out"he said smiling,so they turned off the movie and cleaned up and Mike took the couch because Tre got it last time so Tre got the air matress and they passed out and Billie carried Anna upstairs and put her in her bed and gave her a kiss on her forehead and smiled,then left her room and went and found Scott in the kitchen to talk to him
"Hey Scott can I talk to you"
"Yeah sure"
"Okay well y'know how I walked in and you were crying"
'Yeah"
"Well Adrienne explained why you were upset and I want you to know the I'm not upset and you don't have to feel guilty,I had a breakdown but Anna helped me and that only happened because I really care about her and I'm gonna miss her but I don't want you to feel guilty okay"
"Okay,thanks man"
"Of course"
"Night Scott"
"Night Billie" then Billie went and grabbed the guitar cases to Frankie and Joey and Anna's longboard and put them aside in Anna's room and he just sat on the couch and fell asleep.
