Ch.21 Sugar not Acid(Longview)

The next day Anna woke up before anyone else and saw Billie still passed out on the couch in her room and since he was passed out she decided to pull a little prank on him so she went into the bathroom and got shaving cream and a piece of toilet paper and went back by Billie and put shaving cream all over his hands and then she tickled his face with the piece of toilet paper and surprisingly it worked he ended up with a face full of shaving cream
"Anna what the fuck' and he got up and wiped his face off in the bathroom then came back by Anna
"I haven't even had coffee yet,now your gonna get it" he said smiling
"Oh shit" then Billie chased Anna around the room and finally caught her and tickled her to death like they literally died laughing then Anna spoke
"Well since you got your payback what should we do today"she said as they both sat on the couch
"Well y'know how we both love ice cream"
"Yeah"
"Well theres this place called Fenton's and I swear it is the best ice cream you will ever have and you can literally get as sugar high as you want there"
"That sounds awesome" then Anna had a smirk on her face and she went to her bed and grabbed a pillow and hit Billie with it
"Oh its on" he said with a smile on his face and he got up and grabbed a pillow and they ended up having an all out pillow fight,and Anna won
"Lets go get coffee before we both kill each other"
"Agreed" so they headed downstairs and surprisingly neither Scott or Adrienne where awake yet,so they got coffee and went and sat in the backyard under a shady tree and drank there coffee and Billie noticed the sad look on Anna's face
"Hey whats wrong" he said putting his coffee down and moving closer by Anna
"I'm just gonna miss it here and I'm gonna miss you,Adrienne,Mike,and Tre so much and I really love California now and I wish I didn't have to go back to Wisconsin"
'I know but the rest of your family probaly really miss you and your dogs but we are only a call away and we are gonna visit you as much as we can because we all love you"he said giving Anna a hug then she spoke
"Can I explain something to you"
'Sure"
"Well this is kinda messed up to say at my age but I cut most of my toxic family out of my life and the only time I see them is funerals like I can count on one hand how many family members I haven't cut off so I'm use to ether being alone or something like that just because of how dysfunctional my family is"then Anna saw that Billie had tears in his eyes and spoke
"I'm so sorry that you even are able to say that at your age but I want you to know that you can always call me or Adrienne no matter what time or what day because we'll be your family" and Anna started tearing up and hugged Billie
"Thank you Billie you have no idea how much that means to me"
"Of course just so your happy and everything is okay and so you know that you are loved"and then Billie took his wrist with his wrist band on it and took Anna's wristband hand in his just so he made sure she was okay
"And plus me, Adrienne, Mike,and Tre all feel the same way, we're gonna miss having you around, but hey we get to spend an entire tour together and we get to see you two times a month"
"I know but I just love you guys so much and here so much its just gonna be hard for me to leave without crying and I bet everyone else"
"I get it,its kinda similar when me and the guys leave for a tour and we miss everyone,but we're just a phone call away"
"I know but the thought still hurts"
"I know and believe me it makes me want to cry thinking about you leaving and I hate it and I don't want you to leave but you have to,damn it" and Billie started tearing up and hugged Anna
"Damn it Billie you're gonna make me cry" she said laughing
"But hey I get to see Joan Jett with you and the other band you mentioned and I get to probaly help you move and just have fun with you this summer and jam with you everyday after school and I just love that I'm gonna get to watch you grow up to be a kick ass punk rocker"he said smiling
"Two things,one how did you know about me moving,and two I learned from the best"
"Your dad talked to me about it and also thank you"
"Oh,and you're welcome" and they basically laid in the grass enjoying the peace then Anna spoke
"One thing"
"Yeah"
"How do you have such good style"and Billie started laughing
"Thats a good question,but I have a question for you"
"Yeah"
"When I visit you while its still summer what do you wanna do"
"Um,ride Bmx bikes around,go to music stores, go to shows,hang out,listen to music,go places,get high on caffine,I can show you some good hidden away hang out spots if you want"
"That literally sounds like a kick ass summer"
"Good,because its pretty boring doing that stuff with no one'
"Well you'll have me"
"Yayy"she sid smiling,which made Billie smile then he spoke
"I also have a awesome surprise for you later and your dad said it was fine"
'What is it"
'What point about the word surprise do you not get'he said laughing
"What I'm curious"and Billie just smiled,thinking about how happy his surprise was gonna make her and spoke
"How are those two not up yet"
"I don't know,wanna wake em up"Anna said with a smirk on her face
"What do you have in mind"
"We both jump in the pool at the same time and make a really loud splash"
"Sounds good"so they got up and both made a running jump before jumping in the pool with a gaint splash and a few minutes later Scott and Adrienne both came outside and Adrienne spoke
"Thanks for the wake up call,was getting soaked worth it"she said with her hands on her hips,but smiling and Anna spoke
"You're welcome and yes,yes it was"so they jumped out of the pool and dried off and went back inside and changed into clean,dry clothes and went back in the kitchen by Scott and Adrienne
"Morning"
"Morning,so what did you two kids have in mind for today"then Billie spoke
"Getting sugar high at Fenton's"
"Sounds good,I'm gonna sit this one out"Adrienne said smiling at Scott and Billie and Anna just sat there confused, 'what do they have planned for later' she thought,then once Scott had his coffee too everyone went and got ready, and Billie helped Anna with her hair and it was not fricking St.Jimmy, but still spiked,but soft and the three of them left,with Cds,a polaroid and film, on the way there was windows down and kick ass music and once they got there and walked in Anna and Scott were in shicked at how cool it look,it had the complete 1950's vibe and they ordered and Scott just got plain chocolate and Billie and Anna spilt a sundae,for sure they were gonna get sugar high,so they sat and ate their ice cream and talked,joked,and laughed and by this point Anna and Billie were for sure sugar high and Scott spoke
"You guys are gonna go down hard"
"Yeah but whatever,its our version of getting high soo yeah"and Billie just smiled and nodded
"Well enjoy it while it lasts"
"Yeah yeah mr.plain choclate guy have fun"
"I would love to but I probaly am gonna end up driving'then Billie spoke
"Yeah you're right"and gave Scott the keys and winked and Anna thought to herself 'what is going on,seriously' then they let some of the sugar out of their systems and they got in the car and Anna spoke
"When am I gonna get my surprise"
'Thats where we're headed and you're gonna love it' and about 20 minutes later they pulled up to the Humane Society and Anna literally jumped out of the car and they walked in and went to the small dog section and came across a little Boston Terrior and Anna immediatley fell in love with him and they had a lady who worked there take him out so Anna sould pet him and it was love at first sight,then Billie spoke
"So what are you gonna name him" and Anna's face was in pure shock
"Wait wait wait you're telling me we're adopting him" and Billie nodded his head and Anna looked at her dad and he nodded his and she hugged them both,
"Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you" so the lady gave them all the forms and told them they couldn't come up with a name for the little guys so it would be up to whoever adopted him and his birthday was ironically on Billie's birthday, Feburary 17,and after they filled out all the paper work Billie spoke
"Well,what are you gonna name this little guy" he said petting the dog
"I'm gonna name him Billie" and Billie just started smiling like an idiot
"Aww,really"
"Yeah, so I have a Billie for when you're not around,wait do we get to bring him back to Wisconsin with us" and Scott nodded his head and spoke
"Yeah but you're gonna have to keep him at your mom's,okay"
"I don't care as long as he's mine"
"He's all yours" and they walked out of the Humane Society happy as possible and Scott took a picture of Billie and Anna,holding little Billie then they headed back home,and when they walked in Adrienne was sitting on the couch surrounded in dog stuff and Anna spoke
"You knew about this too"
"Of course,plus someone had to by all this stuff for this little guy"she said petting the dog
"What'd you name him"
"His name is Billie"
"Aww thats so sweet"she said smiling
"Well lets get his stuff unpackaged and set up" so they unpacked everything,while little Billie played with one of his new toys, he had a collar with tiny guitars on it,a leash with little lightening bolts on it,a little bandana that said, 'Who the fuck is Tre Cool' on it, a crate for when they went back to Wisconsin, some toys, a small dog bed, and food,and after everything was set up for the newest member of the family Anna gave Adrienne a hug and told her thank you
"Of course and you shouldn't be thanking me it was Billie's idea"
"I know but still"so the rest of the night they played with little Billie and had a great time then it was about 10:30 and Anna passed out on the couch and Scott and Billie just started laughing,so Billie carried Anna and put her in bed and kissed her forehead and whispered a small 'goodnight' and Scott carried little Billie up to Anna's room and put him in his dog bed and told him to stay and he did and Billie and Scott just smiled at the adorable sight and left them to sleep.
