Ch.57 Proud

So the next day was a chill day,because of what happened and everyone was basically just chilling in the living room just watching TV and a commercial came on for the iHeartRadio Music Awards and it said
''Green Day nominated for Best Rock Album"and Anna's face was priceless and she looked at Billie and he spoke
"Surprise"and Anna gave him a hug and she was so happy and she spoke
"Uncosious Perception got nominated"
"Yep"Billie said smiling and Anna pulled out her phone and called her dad
"Hey kiddo"
"Unconsious Perception got nominated for Best Rock Album"
"Oh my god that's amazing"
"Yeah,I'm pretty sure we're gonna be in Vegas"
''That's awesome kiddo,I gotta get back to work,love you"
"Bye"and she hung up and then believe it or not texted her mom to watch the award show,then she threw her phone across the room onto the couch and Billie spoke
"What was that for"
"I texted my bitch of a mother to watch the award show and so she can see how far I've come without her"and Billie smiled
"Good so we gotta ge in Vegas at like noon"
"K,wanna go on a ride"and Billie spoke
"Sure"so they grabbed there boards and skated over to the skate park and just chilled in the bowl,and no one was there and Billie noticed that Anna was a little bit upset and he spoke
"Y'know you're probaly the reason that the album got nominated"and she just shrugged her shoulders
"Well,it's true Youngblood"he said smiling and he gave her a hug,and she kinda felt better and spoke
"Question"
"Hmh"
"What's Vegas like"
"Bright,loud,and shiny,at night,but otherwise normal"
"Okay and why are you so cute"and Billie blushed a little bit at that and Billie came back with
"Yeah well you're my little Youngblood so you're fricking adorable"and Anna blushed a little and for payback Anna pulled out her phone and started recording Billie and spoke
"Love you Billie"and that one comment made him blush,and he saw that she was recording and she spoke
"And sending that to Adrienne"and she did and for payback Billie started tickling Anna and she hit her bad arm on the ground
"Ow,shit"she said laughing and Billie spoke
"Shit,sorry"adn he gave her a hug
"It's okay" so they eventually headed back to Scott's and Scott and Laurie were there
"Hi dad"and she gave her dad a hug
''Me and Aunt Laurie just came to say bye and that we'll watch it on TV"
"Okay"
"Bye guys"and everyone said bye back and he gave Anna a hug
"Bye kiddo,I gotta go back to work and drop of Laurie"
"Bye"so they left everyone packed so stuff up and relaxed for a little bit and then eventually headed to the airport and hopped on a flight to Vegas,so once the landed they got a ride to the hotel and unpacked a little and then the guys and Anna got a ride to where the awards were at and stuff so tehy got there,and a guy ran them through the schedule and stuff tehn they went by all the other performers and its was mainly,pop,rap and coutry artist and Anna felt outta place because she's the only kid,in a room full of adults and that's the case most of the time,she feels outta place,depending upon whose in the room,and her and the guys are punk rock,the only punk rock group there,and she kinda just tuned everything else out,since she uses the KISS method,Keep It Simple Stupid,like the guys and Billie kinda saw that she was kinda off,so they walked away from the group and he spoke
"Whats up"
"Nothing I just feel outta place"
"Yeah I get it we're punk rock and their pop and rap,and you're the only kid here"
"Yeah,feels like I'm back in school again"so they just wondered around for a while,because Billie knew what they had to do,it wasn't their first award show,but it was their first award show with Anna and he couldn't be happier,so eventually they found the guys and heaed out and they just had to get whatever they were gonna wear tonight,so they guys already had what they were gonna wear,and still had to think of something to wear and Billie spoke
"So what you thinking about wearing"
"I don't know maybe my band shoes,black jeans,Van Halen shirt,studded belt,red blazer"and Mike gave Anna a high five and she spoke
"What was that for"and he spoke
"Your kick ass taste in style"
"Okay"so Anna already had black jeans,a stubbed belt,and a Van Halen shirt,so they just got a red blazer,not crazy red but red,so they were done and they headed back to the hotel and everyone got ready and relaxed and stuff so it was time to leave so everyone headed down to the lobby and boom a fucking limo is sitting outside and Anna looked at Billie and spoke
"Billie a fucking limo"
"Yeah I wanna make your first award show awesome"
"Well I'm not arguing with that"so they went out and got in the limo and Anna spoke
"So Billie you gonna steal a limo"
"Sounds like a plan to me"and the guys,Joan,and Adrienne are just dying laughing in the back,so Billie told the driver a lie to get him outta the car and then he hopped in the front seat and fucking punched it and everyone was just dying,having a riot in the back,adn how Billie got them to the award show in one piece and on time they had no fucking clue so they got out and headed in and found their seats and Anna thought she was gonna loose her fucking mind at who she saw and she grabbed Billie's arm and spoke
"Billie look who the fuck it is"and his face was priceless
"Holy shit thats fucking Alex and Eddie Van Halen"so they sat through,awards,performances,and speeches,and Anna didn't really care for them,so then the moment of truth
"And the award for Best Rock Album goes to.........Green Day for Unconsious Perception"and the next thing Anna knows is everyone around them was clapping and the guys,Joan and Adrienne were giving her hugs, and she was kinda in shock,so they walked on stage and up to the podium and Anna saw the award and she knew it was real,for sure,so then Billie spoke
"Honestly,I don't think we would have been nominated for this if it wasn't for Anna,she is one of the best people ever I swear to god,she came into mine,Mike,Tre,my wife Adrienne,and Joan's lives in a weird way,but we wouldn't change anything that has happened,she has survived hell and back with us,being beat up a few times,surviving six weeks in the hospital and some change and she is just amazing and one of the most creative people,kick ass people ever,her dad Scott,hey man and you're just as awesome and just I got no words on how happy I am on how this album came out and  thanks you,seriously look up some of the earlier shows we played,this kick ass kid standing next to me can rock out like no fucking tomorrow,and I think I can speak for,the guys,Adrienne,Joan and Scott that were are all proud as hell of Anna,and I'm not gonna hog all the time so Mike take it away"and Billie stepped down and gave Anna a hug and Mike stepped up to the podium and spoke
"One day Billie called me and Tre up to come over to jam and he told us Anna was gonna jam with us and so when we got there and we started and I heard this kid play I was like holy shit,like she left me and Tre blown away and I think Billie and Adrienne were still left in shock,she is amazing and creative as hell like the way she thinks for her age is like waoh,she has blown me,Billie,Tre,Adrienne,Joan Jett,Fall Out Boy,Sum 41,Blink-182 and probably hundreds of thousands of people away with her musical talent and I could not be anymore prouder to know and have the privilage to tour,play shows, and have a good time with her she is amazing"and he stepped down and gave Anna a hug and Tre stepped up and spoke
"Honestly I second everything Billie and Mike said,and not just Anna is kick ass her dad Scott is,he is an amazing drummer and from playing gigs at Gilman from when we first met them adn stuff it was awesome and he is just awesome and helped give Anna a kick ass taste in music we love the good times with Anna and Scott and we would not change anything,from Billie turning Anna into a mini St.Jimmy and having awesome pool parties and just all the good time are awesome,seriously they are some of the best,funniest,creative people ever and just awesome,hell Anna played a gig and turned back time back in Tosa and it was fucking amazing and also thanks for the award"and almost everyone was laughing and Tre stepped down and gave Anna a hug and Billie nodded at Anna to say something and so she stepped up and spoke
"Holy fucking shit is that Eddie and Alex Van Halen,I was raised on your music and love it,I mean look at my shirt"and everyone was laughing"Anyway this is honestly surreal,like how the hell I'm even standing here or even know these three amazing people behing me,and fucking Joan Jett and Adrienne,like it feels like I'm dreaming, someone pinch me,and just thank you for this,back like four years ago I never would hav thought I would be standing on stage with my idols,being close with one of the most kick ass,smoking hot female rockers,Joan Jett,and Adrienne being kinda like a mom to me,since my own mom wasn't,I've come so far with out her and I honestly don't if she's proud of me or not,knowing these three kick ass punk rockers are and yeah well Joan Jett and Adrienne is more then enough,just I'm spechless,thank you"and people were laughing and clapping and she stepped down and the guys gave her a group hug, and then Billie handed her the award and Billie swears to fucking god Anna's eyes sparkled and she was holding it in such astonishment and that made him smile so they headed back to their seats and Adrienne and Joan basically sqeezed the life outta Anna and Anna handed Adrienne the award to hold onto and she spoke
"I swear I'm so proud of you"she said giving Anna another hug
"Thanks"Anna said smiling back,then it cut to a commercial break and everything got situated and ready and the guys,Anna,and Joan got situated on stage and Anna walked over to Joan with Frankie and handed it to her and Joan spoke
"Wait really,you want me to play your guitar"
"Yeah,I mean I can't play so I want you to play it"and Joan gave her a hug,and Billie was playing the guitar he got for his birthday and was smiling,which made Anna smile,and they were playing only four songs,Longview,St.Insomnia,Youngblood,and Thank You,so it was time and the show came back on and Joan spoke
This guitar I'm play is Anna's and I'm playing it since she can't play"and Billie spoke
"And this guitar is the guitar I got for my birthday and it was Anna's idea and it's my favorite"and Anna spoke
"Let's go crazy Vegas"and they jumped into Longview and most of the people in the audience were singing along,dancing and then they jumped into St.Insomnia and owned the fucking stage,and went crazy
"Viva Las Vegas"Billie said and then they jumped into Youngblood and Billie was standing next to Anna with his arm wrapped around her,singing and smiling with her and as usual
"Anna's my little Youngblood"and then everyone's favorite part
"She said fuck you I'm from Oakland"and Billie and Anna were both smiling like no tomorrow and after the song Billie spoke
"This next song was written by Anna"and Anna spoke
"I wrote this back in Oakland and I basically took how much I appreciated how much Billie and Adrienne had done for me and my dad at the time and I dedicated it to them,and it's literally called Thank You"she said smiling and Billie grabbed his acoustic and he started playing Thank You and Mike,Joan,and Tre  just stood there,well sat there in Tre's case and listened to Billie and Anna sing and were smiling and by the end of the song Billie was giving Anna a hug and they were both smiling like crazy and Billie spoke
"Thank you and goodnight Vegas"and so they headed back to their seats and it was over and then someone behind Anna spoke
"Excuse me"and Anna turns around and none other than fucking Eddie and Alex Van Halen and Anna tugged on Billie's arm and he turned around
"Holy fucking hell,Eddie and Alex Van Halen"and Eddie spoke
"Yeah we just came over to say congratulations"and Anna spoke
"I swear to fucking god my dad is one of the biggest VH fans ever,I swear your music is like me with Green Day,his life line,I remember me and him when I was little cruising around town blasting Jump and little five year old me saying the second 'jump'"and Alex spoke
"That's nice"
"Yeah,and you guys are one of his biggest influences ever,do you think it would be okay if we surprised him"and both Eddie and Alex agreed,so Anna pulled out her phone and Facetimed her dad and he answered
"Hey kid-HOLY FUCKING SHIT ALEX AND EDDIE FUCKING VAN HALEN"
"Hi dad and yeah"
"Holy shit you guys are like my fucking idols,I can't even holy fuck,you guys are amazing as fuck and have kick fucking ass music and are one of the reasons my kid has such an awesome taste in music"and Alex spoke
"Well you taught her,her rock well"and Scott was still in fucking shock
"Thanks,and you guys are the best,I'll let you go"
"Bye"Eddie and Alex both said at the same time and Anna turned to them
"Thanks for making my dad's fucking world"
"Of course"Alex said and they left and Anna went over by Billie and the camera on Anna's phone was facing Billie and Scott spoke
"Hey Billie"and Billie turned and faced the camera
"Hey Scott"
"You guys were amzing me and Laurie watched it on TV and I'm so proud of you guys"
"Thanks"
"Yep"and Anna turned the camera around so it was facing her
"And I love you kiddo and thanks"
"Yep and I love you too,bye dad"
"Bye kiddo"and Anna hung up and went by Billie and gave him a hug and he looked down at her and smiled and spoke
"Hi Youngblood"and for a little bit of payback Anna kinda came up with a nickname off the top of her head
"Hi Billo"and Billie laughed a little
"Did you just come up with a nickname for me too"
"Yep''Anna said smiling
"Well I love you Youngblood"he said smiling like an idiot
"Yeah I love you too Billo"and Billie laughed a little and Anna looked up and saw Adrienne recording and then Billie saw and at the same time
"Adrienne"and she started laughing and smiling
"What I can't help that you two are so adorable"and the guys and Joan were kinda laughing,so they kicked it back to the hotel room and everyone passed out and it was just Billie and Anna up,and Anna was sitting out on the balcony listening to music and noticed Billie smiling,looking at his phone like crazy,so she got up and went and sat down next to him and spoke
"What ya smilin at"
"Adrienne sent me that video"he said still smiling
"Of course she did"and Billie set his phone down and gave Anna a hug
"Y'know I'm proud as fuck of you right"
"No I had no idea"Anna said,jokingly,smiling
"Yeah yeah"and Billie grabbed a fluffy blanket behind them and covered them both up and was still smiling because for once Anna didn't know that he had something planned and he spoke
"Seriously your way of thinking is so confusing and awesome at the same time"
"Thanks,and it kinda scares me because I remember I thought of it as like I didn't grow up with Green Day,I remember watching and listening to you guys,and being more mature and not being stupid teenagers anymore and for me its kinda flipped in a way,I have a mature way of thinking because of you guys in a way if you really think about it,like I'm not an obnoxious teenager,I have a mature way of thinking instead"and Billie was kinda left stumped
"Damn,like I said awesome and confusing"
"Yeah,well that's a given"and Billie was hugging her again
"Love you Youngblood"he said smiling
"Love you Billo"Anna said yawning and she may have accidentally passed out in Billie's arms,and he looked down at her passed out and smiled and fell asleep with a smile on his face.
