Ch.79 New Years Rockin Eve

So it was the day after Christmas and Billie surprised Anna with, that him,her, Mike,and Tre were gonna play New Years Rockin Eve in New York and she was excited as hell,so everyone flew out to New York the next day and Anna honestly kind missed it,she loved being back and they had a few days of relaxing and stuff and it was very well spent,anyway it was now December 31 and Anna was excited as heck,she was hyper the whole day, which made evryone laugh a little and smile,so they were gonna play two songs and it was a suprise,so the day was filled with relaxing,making sure everything was good to go and yeah, so the showed up at Times Square at like 10:00 and apparently they were the last act performing,they saved the best for last and it was mainly goofing around,hanging out and stuff and getting interviewed and stuff,which Anna should have expected,but it was fun,because they were just having fun the whole time,so finally five minutes before the ball drops,the guys and Anna went on stage and Billie spoke
"Are you ready to rock into the new year"and he got massive cheers back
"Alright"and they jumped into Basket Case and they just full on rocked it,then Anna and Billie played Thank You and they helped the countdown for the ball to drop,and when it hit zero,everyone was cheering and smiling and Billie hugged Anna
"Happy New Year,Youngblood"and she looked at him and smiled and then he looked at Adrienne and blew her a kiss and it was a very good way to enter the New Year,with Green Day and they were hopped up on adrenaline,so one they were off stage,Billie spoke
"So what sould we do now Youngblood"
"Pop up Foxboro Hottub show"
"Sounds good to me"and the guys were good with it,so they ended up being able to play at a place called Saint Vitus,which is like a rock bar,with live music,and it was a pop up show,so nothing fancy,so they headed there and set up and stuff and Billie spoke
"We are the new and improved Foxboro Hottubs"and for a pop up show,there was a lot of people,so they jumped into Stop Drop and Roll!! and played all the way through teh album,and it went by like nothing,so Billie spoke
"Who wants to keep this party going all night"and the crowd cheered
"Okay then"so they just played covers for another hour and then took a break and chilled and Billie pulled Anna aside
"Youngblood, I'm asking because I don't want you to feel uncomfortable,but would it make you feel uncomfortable if I just had one glass of champagne,just because it's New Year"
"No it's okay Billo,but only one"
"Okay,just making sure"and Anna gave him a hug
"You are so sweet,I swear"and Billie just smiled at her
"Look who's talking Youngblood"
"Yeah yeah"and he spoke
"Since it's New Years, you want a glass of champagne,to celebrate,plus it's completely legal,as long as your dad says so"
"Sure why not"so Anna went over and asked her dad,he was completely fine with it,and she went and told Billie it was fine,so Billie went over to the bar and got two drinks and Adrienne was watching him like a hawk and Anna noticed,so she went over by her and spoke
"Hi 80"and she turned to Anna
"Hi Youngblood"
"Don't worry about Billie,he just pulled me aside and asked if it would make me uncomfortable if he had a glass of champagne,because it's New Years and I told him it was fine,because it's a holiday and I told him only one and I'm having one to celebrate"and Adrienne sighed in relief and laughed a little
"Okay and you're having a drink Youngblood"she said smiling and Anna spoke
"Yeah,my dad said it was fine,plus it's the city that never sleeps"
"Fair enough"
"It won't bother me if everyone has like one drink just because it's a holiday and believe me I won't let Billie get stupid and I know you wouldn't and I don't think he would even let that happen"and Adrienne gave Anna a hug and spoke
"Yeah you're right,and because we all know your mom's side of the family had drinking problems and we're just watching ourselves,and don't say you're use to it, because you shouldn't be use to that, it wasn't okay"
"Yeah I know and I think that's part of why Billie will never let me see him stupid,because it'll bring up those memories for me"
"It is,we just don't want you having to deal with that, then dealing with one of us"
"I get it and just the point that you guys will watch yourselves or ask me if it would make me uncomfortable if you had a drink,makes me smile,because you guys really care about me"
"We do Youngblood"Adrienne said smiling and Anna just smiled back at her and Billie walked over by them and he was carrying three glasses and he handed one to Anna and the other to Adrienne and spoke
"Well, heres to a happy New Years and Youngblood's first drink"and Adrienne just laughed and they toasted and drank their champagne and Billie spoke
"So what ya think Youngblood"and she spoke
"Not bad and this is the most alcohol my body has ever consumed"and Billie started laughing and spoke
"You're gonna feel funny in a little bit"and Anna started laughing and spoke
"What you're forgeting is that I'm my dad's kid and believe me he can holding his liquor and I come from a long line of alcoholics,so just maybe"and Billie just had a stupid look on his face and Adrienne was laughing and spoke
"She does have a point"
"Yeah"and Anna spoke
"I bet you $5 that it doesn't even phase me"she said to Billie
"Okay,deal"so after a little bit,they got back up on stage and played some Green Day songs and Anna could see Billie eyeing up the bar,so she went on the other side of him and blocked his line of vision of the bar and after the song they were playing was over,she gave him a hug and spoke
"80 will actually kick your ass if you drink anymore"
"I know Youngblood"and he had tears in his eyes
"Just like urges with cutting,there are urges with drinking and it's hard"
"I get it and it's okay,you're human,just get drunk on the energy of the show instead"and Billie smiled at her
"Thanks Youngblood"
"Yep and believe it or not I kinda want another glass of champagne"and Billie just started laughing,so just to make sure that Billie was okay she held his wristband hand and he smiled at her,so they played some more songs,goofed around,and had fun,so by the time the show was done it was almost three in the morning and Anna spoke
"Billie you owe me $5"and he just laughed a little,so they packed up and headed out and Anna had a bad gut feeling that something was gonna happen and it seemed that she was the only one feeling that way,so everyone went to bed after a fun night, and Anna just could not for the life of her fall asleep,with this bad feeling,then she heard someone walking around and thought nothing of it, so she was bored and clearly not going to sleep anytime soon, so she went out in the living room and saw Billie,sitting there
"Hey Billo"and he turned to her and she saw his bloodshot,red, eyes and tear stains on his face,from crying and she went and sat down next to him
"Billie what's wrong"and he spoke
"I'm stupid,I should not have had that drink,because now I just want more"and he was trying so hard not to start crying again and Anna immediately hugged him
"Billie,you're not stupid,you just wanted a drink because it's a holiday,to celebrate and you even asked me if it would make me uncomfortable if you had one drink,the point that you even asked is awesome,and it's okay, I get urges,how hard it was for me the first time I stopped cutting,I swear I never wanna be like that again and now I have amazing people that love and care about me and with help me through whatever"and he just hugged her back and she spoke
"I hate having to ask this,but this is any booze here,where is it"and Billie sighed
"In the kitchen"and Anna got up and went in the kitchen and searched through every single cabinet and she didn't care if it was just wine,or just beer for celebrations,she dumped all of it down the sink and she found a bottle of Jack Daniels hidden away,far back and just grabbing the bottle brought up bad memories for her,so she dumped it dow the sink,and she made sure that evey ounce of anything you could get drunk on was gone and she hid the bottles underneath the sink for now,she didn't care, she wasn't gonna let Billie fall again,so she went back over by him and gave him a hug and spoke
"What can I do to make you feel better"
"Just be right here with me and be your cute self"
"I can do that"she said smiling,seeing if it would make Billie smile,and it worked he got a smile out of him and he spoke
"Can we just keep this between us for now Youngblood"
"Of course"and Anna understood 100%, about keeping this to herself,so Anna grabbed the TV remote and turned on a good movie,and then got up and went and made hot cocoa and came back by Billie and handed him a cup of hot cocoa and grabbed a blanket and sat down and covered them both up and Billie had tears in his eyes and a smile on his face and he spoke
"You're doing for me,what I did for you when you weren't okay"
"Of course Billo,why wouldn't I"she said smiling and he gave her a hug
"God you are so sweet"so they just relaxed and watched movies,and Anna knew that she wasn't sleeping and eventually Billie passed out,so Anna got up and searched around some more,just to make sure that she got all of it,and she found some down in the basement, and it was some hard stuff and she had some fucked up memories playing over in her head and she looked at the dates on the bottles and they were from 2012,which made sense,they must have just forgotten about it and it was a whole box filled with booze,and she found a bottle of pills and when she realized what it was,she dropped it and started crying,so she got ahold of herself and she picked up the bottle,so she went upstairs and went in tha bathroom and dumped the pills in the toilet and flsuhed them and then went and hid the pill bottle under the sink,and she went back down in the basement and brought it all upstairs and was careful not to wake anyone up and she dumped every last drop down the sink,and she was on the verge of tears,not because of Billie,but because of all of those bad memories,and she thought it was the sweetest thing ever that everyone watches themself because of Anna's past,and she had probably the worst memories she could think of playing through her head and she had tears running down her face and she slumped down against the counter and brought her knees up to her chest,those memories scared her,so once she got ahold of herself a little bit,she went and sat back down on the couch,next to a passed out Billie and smiled and him,even when he is asleep he can still put a smile on her face and she covered up with the blanket and turned the TV off and just sat there,she knew that she wasn't sleeping to make sure that Billie was okay
"Happy New Years Billo"so the hours went by and it was about eleven in the morning when Billie woke up and saw Anna,still awake
"Hey Youngblood"he said smiling
"Morning Billo"and he saw her blooshot eyes and the drak circles under her eyes
"You stayed up all night didn't you"
"Yeah,I wanted to make sure that you were okay"and Billie smiled and gave her a hug
"So I take it that we're just relaxing today"
"Oh yeah"
"Good,and you good Billo"
"Yeah I'm good Youngblood"he said smiling and Billie knew that something was bothering her
"What's up Youngblood"and she sighed
"After I went through the whole kitchen,I dumped everything and after you passed out,I looked around some more and I found a shit ton of booze in the basement and I found one of your pill bottles and I literally dumped everything and hid all the empty bottles under the sink,just so no one saw them in teh trash and questioned it"and Billie pulled her into a hug
"You dumped everything and stayed up all night to make sure that I was okay"
"Yeah,I had to make sure"and Billie was smiling to death
"Love you Youngblood and thank you"
"Of course and I love you too Billo"
"You look like hell Youngblood,get some rest,I'll be okay,I promise"
"Okay"Anna said yawning and Billie gave her a hug,then got up and Anna laid down on the couch and passed out almost immediately and Billie gave her a kiss on her forehead and whispered
"Happy New Years Youngblood"so he went in the kitchen and made coffee and was sitting up on the counter and Adrienne woke up and went in the kitchen and saw Anna passed out in the living room and spoke
"Dang she's that worn out"and Billie spoke
"Yeah,we played hard"so everyone just relaxed and stuff the whole day.
