Ch.73 Skate or Die

It was kind of weird for everyone,with Scott being back but no one was complaining, so everyone was back in California and Scott was kickin it on the couch in the studio,like the good ole days and today was a free day, so everyone woke up had coffe,the usual and Billie and Anna were sitting outside with little Billie, just chillin and Billie spoke
"So I was thinking and y'know how you are literally part of our family"
"Yep"Anna said smiling
"Well, what if I take you are your dad to meet some of my family, like my siblings and my mom"and Anna gave Billie a hug and spoke
"Okay,I swear you are the sweetest person ever"
"I dream and beg to differ,Youngblood,I dream and beg to differ''he said smiling and Anna laughed a little
"That sounds like fun,I'll officially be part of the Armstrong family"and Billie laughed a little
"Youngblood,you have been since the week I met you"
"Fair enough and you do have a sister named Anna,so I'm just sayin"and Billie was just laughing
"Well you are funny,weird,and awesome enough, so you'll fit right in"he said smiling
''Good,so when are we gonna see them"
"In a couple hours"
"Okay"so everyone just pretty much chilled and got ready eventually and Anna kinda figured Billie had this planned,like everything else,and apparently Billie's family was coming over to his house,so that was convenient,so Billie gave Scott and Anna a run down on his siblings in the meantime and while Anna was waiting she was skating around and Billie was just standing there,smiling,watchign her and he honestly thought that Anna meeting his family would make her feel better,since she doesn't really have a family anymore,biologically anyway,besides her dad and her aunt Laurie,but then of course she has Billie,Adrienne,Mike,Tre,and Joan,so she was just skating,doing tricks and stuff and Billie realised that she was looking at him
"Hmh,Youngblood"
"Come skate with me"
"Alright"so he went and grabbed his board and skated with Anna,doing tricks and stuff and just as he's about to land a kickflip,of course he falls and busts his shit and right then a car pulls up in the drive way and someone gets out and yells
"Billie boy ya good"they said while laughing and Anna spoke
"Ya good"
"Yeah"Billie said as he got up,laughing
"And that's my brother,Alan"and so him and Anna walk over by his brother and Billie spoke
"Hey man how ya doin"he said giving his brother a hug
"Better then you two minutes ago"
"Yeah yeah"
"So this is the infamous Anna I've heard all about"
"Yeah, Anna,Alan,Alan,Anna"and Anna spoke
"Hi"
"You been keeping my little brother here outta trouble"and Billie and Anna both started laughing and Anna spoke
"Sure lets go with that"so they headed inside and Billie introduced Scott to Alan,and they clicked right away,so Billie and Anna chilled together and Billie spoke
"You'll, ironically, like my sister Anna,she's the one who turned my onto rock"
"Well people who have the name Anna have good taste"and Billie laughed a little
''Maybe"so then Billie's sister Anna showed up and Billie introduced Anna to her and he spoke
"Well Youngblood,I'm just gonna have to call you Youngblood whenever my sister's around"
"You call me that all the time anyway"and Billie just smiled
"Yeah I know" and Billie's sister spoke
"So this is the cutest person in the world you told me about"and Anna just looked at Billie with a discourage look on her face and Billie was smiling and started laughing
"What,Youngblood I only speak the truth"
"Yeah okay look who's talking"and Anna and Billie's sister clicked,so they were talking and Anna was telling Billie's sister all the times that she humiliated him or whatever and showed her funny videos of Billie,and they traded stories like that,so they were both just dying laughing and Billie was just sitting by himself and eventually Adrienne sat down next to him and she spoke
"Well looks good so far"
"Yeah,my sister stole Youngblood''he said in a kind of pouting tone and Adrienne just laughed and Billie spoke
"They're sitting over there trading stupid stories about me, laughing to death,but Youngblood's having a good time so that's good"he said smiling,so eventually two of Billie's sisters, Marci and Hollie, arrived and he introduced Anna and Scott to them and they thought Anna was awesome,and also she just told stupid,funny stories about Billie to them and they were all laughing,having a good time and they thought that Billie's nickname for Anna was cute and they thought that Anna's nickname for Billie was cute,so eventually Billie's brother,David, showed up with Billie's mom,Ollie, and Billie took Anna over by his mom and spoke
"Hey mom"he said giving her a hug and she spoke
"How you doing Billie"
"Good,and there is someone I want you to meet,mom this is Anna,the girl that I've been telling you about"
"Oh hi Anna"
"Hi,Mrs.Armstrong"
"Oh please,call me Ollie"
"You have the same name as a skate trick,that's awesome"and Billie laughed a little and Billie spoke
"She's amazing at skateboarding"

"Yeah"and Anna spoke
"I just want you to know that your son has done so much for me and my dad,he is the kindest, most caring,loyal,loving person ever,him and Adrienne took me in after a freak accident and became my family,since I don't have one anymore,he has defended me,taken care of me,made sure I have a smile on my face,went through hell and back with me and saved me,literally his music saved my life back when I was 13,I was this close to ending it and his music saved me and when I met him he found out about my scars and now he wears a wristband for me and just he's amazing,I can't even,all together you raised an amazing person,who turned out to be the world's biggest punk rocker,and one of the most amazing people ever"and Billie kinda looked at Anna in shock and Ollie had tears of joy in her eyes and she spoke
"Billie I'm so proud of you"and she gave him a hug
"Thanks mom"he said smiling and he gave Anna a hug
"I love you,Youngblood" and Anna spoke
"Prime examples,he most likely saved my dad's life,he took me in,helped me through breakdowns,helped make my dreams come true,paid for me to have top surgery, help my dad earn full custody of me,stayed up in hospital rooms to make sure I was okay,he got me out of some bad situations,he put my dad through rehab and connected me with my best friends,and allowed me to meet my skateboarding idols"and Ollie looked at Billie and spoke
"Your dad would be so proud of you"and Billie teared up a little and Anna just gave him a hug

"Yep"and he spoke
"And mom this kid right here,helped me through breakdowns,always puts a smile on my face,cheers me up,helps me through shows,is always there for me,puts me before herself,has my back,is awesome,amazing and what she did for me this past Father's Day,when I was upset about dad,she suggest we play a show in his honor,she cheered me up,hugged me more times then I could count,and made sure I had a smile on my face and is such a real person that she even gets choked up during Wake Me Up When September Ends"and Billie was even getting a little choked up and Ollie looked at Anna and spoke
"Wow,I don't know what to say,but thank you"and she gave Anna a hug and then Anna gave Billie a hug
"Your welcome,and Billie made sure that I had people,that actually care about me and love me,I cut off my mom's side of the family because of how dysfunctional,toxic,and drunken they were,and my mom killed herself out of guilt and I cut off everyone on my dad's side because of how emotionally degrading they were,except for my dad and my aunt Laurie,who Billie helped me meet for the first time,and Adrienne has been more like a mom to me then my own mom was my entire life,so now I have my dad,my aunt,Billie,Adrienne,Mike,Tre,Joan,and little Billie,who Billie adopted for me,your son gave me a real family"and Ollie spoke
"Billie Joe Armstrong,I have no words to describe to proud of you I am"
"Thanks mom"and he gave Anna a hug,so Anna told Ollie funny stories about her and Billie,and Billie was sitting there smiling,he knew that his mom enjoyed this,so the whole thing was awesome,Anna humiliated Billie a couple times during stories and funny videos,everyone had a good time, and eventually Mike and Tre showed up so it became twice as more fun,so just for the hell of it Anna showed everyone how she could skate,and they loved it,so as it wound down,Anna grabbed a stool, 'Joey' and set it up where everyone was and she spoke
"Attention,ladies,gentlemen,punk rockers,and dogs,the song I'm about to play,I wrote it around the second week I was with Billie and Adrienne and I dedicated it to them,because of how much they had done for me and my dad and now I would like to extend that to Mike,Tre and Joan,Billie wanna play it with me"she said smiling,so Billie went and grabbed his aucostic and they played and sang the song and when they wer done everytone was smiling and clapping and Billie gave Anna a hug
"I love you,Youngblood"
"Love you too,Billo"and Anna went and gave Adrienne,Mike,Tre,her dad,and Joan a hug,so then they pulled up footage they had from shows and practices Adrienne recorded,and everyone was smiling,laughing,and having a good time, watching how Anna performed and Billie's siblings seeing their brother being a dork during showes sometimes,it was a really good time,so eventually Billie's siblings and his mom left, and Billie,Mike,Tre,Adrienne,Scott,Joan,and little Billie chilled,well Anna and Billie went and chilled outside and Billie got choked up and spoke
"Youngblood,you have no idea of how happy you just made my mom,thank you"he said giving her a hug
"Of course Billo, I only speak the truth"and he wiped his eyes and laughed a little
"My sisters really liked you,and Adrienne thought it was kinda funny that since my sister stole you,I was sitting over there kinda, pouting"and Anna laughed a little and Anna spoke
"Yeah, they enjoyed funny stories about you,and they told me some,we were dying laughing over how much of a dork you are,so nothing new"and Billie smiled and he gave Anna a hug
"I'm just glad that you had a good time and you got along with everyone"
"Me too,so what are we gonna do now"
"Well, y'know how you said that after your dad got outta rehab,that you want to take him to like Mike McGill's Skate Shop,Tony Alva's Skate Shop,and Powell Peralta's Skate Shop,and him to meet everyone and skate with them"
"Yeah"
"Well that's what were gonna do"
"Holy shit Billie,you are amazing"she said giving him a hug
"I'm glad you're happy"
"Of course I am,its skatboarding and my idols,skateboarding wise,and its gonna make my dad's world"
"So what are you waiting for, Youngblood,go get your dad,just don't tell him"and Anna ran in the house at full speed and got her dad,Mike,Tre,and Adrienne,Joan stayed back and chilled,so they left and Anna was shaking with excitement, so they headed over to Mike McGill's Sakte Shop,adn when they got out and Scott saw where they were he hugged Anna and picked her up
"Dad,put me down,wanna go in or what"and he did and they went in and boom, fucking Mike McGill was standing right there and Scott, well
"Holy fucking shit Mike McGill"and Mike spoke
"In the flesh,hi Anna,hey Billie"and Scott spoke
"Yep I got nothing,someone fucking pinch me"and Tre being Tre pinched Scott's arm
"Tre not literally" and Mike spoke
"So want me to show you guys around"and they all agreed,so Mike showed them around and Scott was just left in awe and Mike gave Scott,Anna,and Billie Boosted Boards,electric skateboards,that look kinda like old school skateboards and regular custom Mike McGill skateboards Anna ran out of the store and Billie looked out the window and saw her riding around on her new Boosted Board and he laughed a little
"She's already cruising around on it"and Scott and Mike looked out the window and laughed and Mike spoke
"Well she likes it" and Scott spoke
"Thanks man and I can't even believe I'm meeting you,I got nothing"
"Yeah,anytime you're in town with Anna,you guys can stop by and hang out and skate if you want"
"Wow,thanks"
"Of course, and I gotta say the first time I met Anna,she can skate,did you teach her"
"Yeah,and Billie taught her some stuff too"
"Well you taught her well,and did you get to see her article in Thrasher"
"Holy fuck, my kid was in Thrasher"
"Yeah,when all of us met her up at Tosa that one time,since it was like the most historic skate reunion since the Bones Brigade movie,they came out and shot some stuff"and Mike went and grabbed the magezine and showed Scott and he went outside
"Kiddo, you were in fucking Thrasher and didn't tell me"

"K then"so Scott,Billie,Anna,and Mike all skated around on Boosted Boards,and Tre stole Billie's and rode around on it and they had a good time,so they left and headed over to Powell Peralta's Skate shop and they walked in and boom Stacy fucking Peralta is standing behind the counter and he spoke
"Hey Billie,hey Anna"and Scott spoke
"Well I got nothing"so they hung out there and Stacy gave Anna and Scott some stuff,and Scott was like an excited little kid and Anna thought it was funny,so as they were leaving Stacy pulled Scott aside
"Man your kid can skate,and I'm not lying when I say I see Rodney in her,who taught her to skate"
"I did and Billie taught her some stuff too"
"Yeah I mean I can just tell that she has a similar way of thinking and creative mindset as Rodney,but she can skate"
"Thanks man"
"Of course,and hey yeah never know maybe I could sponser her or Rodney,Danny,or Lance could'' and Scott well

"Will do"so they left and headed over to Tony Alva's skate shop and boom Tony Alva, right there,Scott almost lost it,so Scott and Tony got to talk skate and he gave them to custom Tony Alva boards and immediately Scott and Anna went out in the parking lot and tested them out,so all together they had an amazing time today,so eventually they left and Scott spoke
"Well today was fucking awesome"and Anna spoke
"Dad we're just getting started"
"The fuck"
"You'll see"so they headed over to this skate park and the got out and Scott's mouth fucking dropped, he could not believe the sight before his eyes, Tony Hawk,Rodney Mullen,Lance Mountain,Mike McGill,Christian Hasio, Danny Way,Stacy Peralta,Tony Alva,and Steve Caballero, and he had no words and Billie spoke
"Y'know all of this was Anna's idea right"
"No shit"
"Nope"and Scott hugged Anna and picked her up
"I love you kiddo"
"Love you too,Dad,now what the fuck are we waiting for lets go skate with some fucking legends"so they headed in and Mike,Adrienne,and Tre all chilled on benches and Anna,Scott and Billie went and talked to everyone,Scott talked to all of his skate idols and was just in awe and blown away and at the same time losing his shit internally and everyone just said hi to Anna,just so casual and stuff and so everyone skated except for Sacy and Tony Alva, but Rodney,Lance,Steve,Mike,Christian,Danny,Tony Hawk,Anna,Billie and Scott all skated and man it was amazing,Scott was smiling so much,he could have passed as stoned and so eventually after a while of skating everyone slowly wound down and chilled,and Adrienne recorded it and Anna was still skating,hard and fast and Scott saw Anna do stuff on her board that he never knew she could do and he was standing there like 'the fuck' and Scott noticed that Rodney was watching Anna and that made Scott smile to death and Anna was just skating it up and everyone was cheering her on, fucking pro skating legends were cheering her on and Scott was just watching in awe, pro skating legends, were cheering his kid on,wow,and she was actually pulling some Rodney Mullen shit,like going on two wheels up and down ramps and pop shuvits out of it and stuff,just some Rodney stuff and everyone was cheering her on and had their phones out, recording her and Billie was sitting on his board,smiling,knowing that she was having an awesome time and that she and Scott were happy and Anna ended her amazing run with a kickflip and everyone was cheering and congratruating her on an awesome run and Scott went over to Anna and gave her a hug
"Holy shit kiddo I never knew you could do any of that,and you were pulling some Rodney level shit,how"
"I skated a lot when you were gone and Billie taught me some stuff"
"Damn"so everyone just chilled and talked and Rodney pulled Scott aside and he spoke
"Scott,after Anna's run and how she is as a person I wanna mentor her,if that's okay with you and I wanna skate with you also"
"Holy fuck yes"
"Great,I was thinking that once the tour was over we could start"
"That sounds great man and I can't even believe I'm standing here talking to you"
"Yeah and I see myself in Anna,she has that creative mindset"
"I know man,I've seen that in her since she was little"and Rodney gave both Scott and Anna his number and he headed out and Scott went and told Anna and she lost it,in a good way,she was so happy that she accidently focused her board and well yeah,so eventually Lance,Stacy,and Tony Alva headed out,which left Tony Hawk,Danny,Chritian,Mike,and Steve and Tony Hawk being Tony Hawk,just jumped right back into the bowl, and Danny went and skated the ramps,eventually Christian left,so everyone skated a little bit more and then were done,so Tony,Mike,and Steve gave both Anna and Scott their numbers adn headed out,along with Danny,so Anna,Scott,Adrienne,Billie,Mike,and Tre were just chilling and Anna spoke
"Holy fucking shit,I get to be mentored by Rodney fucking Mullen,damn"and everyone was happy with how this day turned out,it was a really good,so everyone headed home and Anna passed out in the car,leaning against Billie,and he was smiling,knowing that she had an amazing time and was happy and had a good time with her dad,so they got home and Billie carried Anna inside and put her bed and everyone went to bed after and exhuasting,fun day.
(Time skip-5 hours)
Anna woke up feeling hot as fire and sweating,but yet freezing at the same time and her stomach churning and she got up and ran to the bathroom and leaned or the toilet and threw up
"Fuck"she muttered and she was shaking,cold and hot as hell,meanwhile Billie heard some weird noises and got up and went to check on Anna and went upstaris and found that she wasn't in her bed and he saw the light on in the bathroom that connected to her room,and looked in there and saw Anna on the floor
"Oh shit,Youngblood,what happened"he said crouching down in front of her
"I got really sick,sorry"
"You have nothing to be sorry about''
"I think I have a fever"
"Okay"so Billie grabbed a thermomature,I can't spell, and took Anna's temperature
"Holy shit 108,you gotta go to the hospital"
"Great"so Billie went and woke up Scott,Adrienne,and Joan and they drove to the hospital,Anna was admitted and Billie,Adrienne,Scott and Joan had to wait in the waiting room and eventually the doctor came out and talked to them,Anna had the stomach flu,which no one wants,and they were gonna keep her overnight until her fever broke and see how she would respond to antibiotics after,yeah more hospital stays,and Billie called Mike and Tre and told them what was going on,so they went and saw Anna and she was now passed out,so that's good, and Billie had a nurse bring in extra chairs for them to sleep in,so Anna was up an down for a little bit,but then finally stayed asleep and when she woke up Billie was sitting right next to her bed and he spoke
"Hey Youngblood,how you feeling"
"My immune system hates me"and her voice was super raspy
"Think your fever's gone"and she nodded and it was,her fever broke when she was asleep
"Just get some rest Youngblood"and she passed back out for another couple hours and when she woke up Mike,Tre,Rodney,Tony Hawk,and Mike McGill were there,and they chilled with her and it cheered her up a little that they showed up,well that Rodney,Tony and Mike showed up,Tre and Mike were a given,so Anna was in the hospital for two weeks and misses a couple of shows,but Adrienne recorded them so Anna could see them,so finally Anna was fully healed,and was discharged and everything went back to normal,skating,playing shows,and having fun.
