Ch.42 Selfish

So the original plan was to release the album on Halloween but since of what happened with Anna they figured they would release it at a later date so they spread the world that a new album was gonna be released and the relase date was set for November 15 so after going through and surviving six weeks in a hospital,Anna went back to school and was gonna stay in school until winter break started then tour would start so the guys got coffee and walked her to school,so she headed in
'Hey Miss Rector"
"Hi Anna,I heard to day that offically the guys are releasing an album soon"
"Yeah and our firsts show is here in Milwaukee,would want to come"
"Of course"
"Ok,I'll get you tickets"
"Thank you"
"No problem'so Anna went and sat down to her only friend Nathanial
"Hey Nathanial"
"Hey Anna"
"Um so some crazy stuff happened over the summer and when winter break starts I go on tour with Green Day and our first show is in Milwaukee and I was wondering if you would want to come because I can get you tickets and you could hang out backstage with me"
"Okay, one you have a lot of explaining to do and two of course I would that would be awesome"
"Okay,so like I think our first show is like a few days after Christmas,and if you look up the tour later you'll see it says Green Day and Anna Kushner"
"Okay cool,I'm really happy for you"
"Thanks man and seriously, I know you'll like the guys and we can hang together if you want"
"That sounds good"
"So would you want to come over to my house and hang out with them,I mean when is it that you get to hang out with Green Day"
"Wow really"
"Yeah of course and at the show we will settle once and for all who knows the lyrics to Boulevard of Broken Dreams better'
"You're on Kushner"so like Miss Rector literally just let the class talk the entire time,then she got up in front of the class and spoke
"Boys and girls,I have an annocuncement" and then she signalled Anna to come up to the front of the room by her and she stood next to her
"We have a celebrity in the class,Anna will only be here until winter break then she will be going on tour with Green Day and so give her a nice last month" and the class just sat there and one girl raised her hand
"Are you like famous"
"Well kinda I mean yeah I did play with Green Day and Joan Jett a few times and I get to go on tour with one of the world's biggest punk bands so I guess yeah"
"Whats it like"
"Well its not that different from everyday life when off tour,but on tour all attention is on you"
"So you are on your way to becoming super famous"
"Um I guess"
"So you basically can do whatever you want"
"Well yes and no" then a kid in the back raised his hand
"Can you even play"
"Would I being going on tour if I couldn't"
"Well I don't believe it" and then Rector pulled up a video from Gilman of Anna playing with the guys and her dad and by the end of it everyone in the class was in shock
"Oh my god your so good,I know a famous person"
"Um no you don't I don't recall us being friends"
"Well we all know who you are and we've known you forever and you're famous so we get to brag"
"No no you don't and you know nothing about me
"Yeah we do,ou love music"
"Yeah fine one thing but you dont know the story and what I've went through in my life so far and no of you come even close to being able to relate so I suggest that you stop"and the girl gave Anna a dirty look
"Well then enlighten us"
"No its none of your business"
"Then its not true"
"Yes it is and I can have lets see six people that can vouch for me on that"
"Well it can't be that bad you're only a kid" and Anna was ready to let lose on this kid
"Okay you really wanna now what crap I've been through at only 13"
"Sure"
"Okay I survived my mom's mental,emotional,and sometimes physical abuse,I overcame depression and anxiety my grandma who hating me to the core and everything i ever stood for,my parets fighting every day growing up,um I cut for god sakes because of how depressed I was,I survived six weeks in a hospital and being beat up be your jerk friends who put me in the hospital and lets see my dad being hit by a car and being in a coma for two weeks in a different state,my emotionally degrading family,I cut off my mom's entire side expect for her and my grandma,I cut everyone out on my dad's side except for my dad,my aunt and my grandpa,I can count on one hand how many peole I have left in my family,and only at 13 I can say that do you even know how messed up that is how muany people have you cut out of your life that are family at 13,huh"and the girl was speechless and didn't say a word
"Exactly see none and well thats my messed up life and I honestly don't care what any of you jerk say or if you beat me up so have at it" and everyone in the class was staring wide eyed at her and Rector actually gave her a hug and had a concerned look on her face
"O-Okay guys settle down and no one is gonna use Anna's status as an advantage and no one better mess with her or beat her up got it"and the class agreed but was still in shock and Anna had a bad feeling and like it was the day after Halloween or something so it was a half day so classes were short and they only had six so by the end of it Anna for once walked out of school unharmed,with Nathanial of course and she met the guys by the doors
"Hey guys"
"Hi Anna,whos this'Billie asked looking at Nathanial
"This is Nathanial,he been my friend since 5th grade"
"Oh nice to meet you,I'm Billie"and Nathanial being the formal person he is shook Billie's hand
"Hi I'm Mike"and he shook Mike's hand and Tre's hand
"Hi I'm Tre"
"It nice to meet you guys,I swear last year you were all Anna talked about" and Anna just covered Nathanial's mouth with her hand
"Why am I not surprised"Billie said laughing
"So should we go"
"Yeah" so all five of them walked back to Scott's and Anna spoke
"I invited Nathanial and Rector to the first show,is that okay"
"Of course"then Nathanial spoke
"I remember we use to in class say the lyrics to Boulevard of Broken Dreams to see who knew them better because both of us ues to say we knew them better and we use to almost get in trouble a bunch of times"
"Really"
"Yeah it was fun and Anna use to say that she had been listening to Green Day since she was born"
"Well that is true and remember in 5th grade like Jonha like blasted American Idiot out of one of the computers during the election in class and got his computer taken away for a month"
"Holy crap I remember that,that was the best thing ever,I literally gave him a high five after class for it and he said it was worth it"and the guys just started laughing
"A kid in your class really did that"Billie asked between laughs
"Yeah I started mouthing the words and almost got in trouble" and Anna noticed the sad look on Nathanial's face
"Hey its okay'and she gave him a hug
"Back in Oakland I told them about you and your mom because of what was going on and Billie understood because um Billie"then Billie spoke
"I get how you feel I lost my dad to cancer too when I was like 10 so in 5th grade and I met Mike around that time and I swear I wouldn't have survived without him so hang onto Anna because believe me having a friend like her makes a huge difference"then Anna spoke
"I remeber when we were in science one time and I had Wake Me Up When September Ends stuck in my head and I realised that you and Billie had that in common and I literally started crying"
"Oh yeah I remeber that I saw you crying and you said it was nothing and it was really that"
"Yeah,I just didn't want you to be upset"
"Well thank you" Nathanial said giving Anna a hug,then Billie spoke
"Well who wants ice cream"
"Sounds fine to me"Anna said so they headed over to Baskin Robbins and got ice cream and Anna spoke
"Nathanial remeber you owe me  $10"
"You never won"
"I never lost"
"Fair enough,so wanna do some explaining on how you are friends with Green Day and Joan Jett"
"Billie care to explain"
"Sure"so Billie explained everything and Nathanial just sat there in shock the entire time
"Wow,so thats what you meant by crazy stuff"
"Yep"Anna said smiling
"Well this was fun and I should probaly get going,bye Anna see you on Monday,bye guys"and they all said bye and Nathanial left
"Cool kid"Billie said
"Yeah and thanks for what you said to him"
"Of course I get it"
'Yeah"so they headed home and Anna spoke
"Wanna know what Rector did"
"Huh"
"Well she announced that I would only be there until winter break and that I was going on tour with Green Day and some kid in the back said I probaly couldn't even play and then she pulled up a video from Gilman of us playing and everyone in the class was in shock and and proved the kid very wrong and then some kids think they can brag that I'm famous and shit and use my status as an advantage"
"Well thats good and also those kids don't get to do jack shit"
"Yeah I know also this girl started shit with me openly in class as I was still standing by Rector and saying shit like what you've been through in your life can't be that bad because you're only 13 and she really wanted to know and so I just completely went off on her adn I think I scared everyone and stuff and like Rector gave me a hug after I was done going off"
"Oh dang"
"Yeah and I said to the whole class that I don't care what they say about me or if they beat me up so have at it and Rector was like nobody better mess with me or beat me up so I like put my entire class in check"and Billie was kinda concerned because he didn't want anything so they basically realxed for the rest of the night and had a good time.
