Ch.41 Coming Clean

The next day Anna woke up and saw Billie sitting there and everyone else was still asleep and he spoke
"Hey how you feeling"he said smiling
"Sore and did you stay up all night"
"Yeah,sorry"
"Its okay but why"
"So I knew that you were okay"
"Okay thats sweet,but dont loose sleep'
'I won't"he said smiling
"But I do have anyother surprise for you"and he grabbed a bag that was next to the chair and pulled out a book and it was the new book The Last Of The American Girls and handed it to Anna
"Now you won't be as bored"
"Thanks Billie,I would give you a hug if I could"
'I know" he said smiling
"And once you get outta here we're gonna have a kick ass time"
'I know,I'm just gonna miss a lot of school"
"About that Rector told me that she's gonna set up a site so you can stay caught up with school and you can us it while we're on tour"
"Okay that is a life saver"
"Yeah and I think you could just do online schooling next year for high school,since we'll still be on tour"
"That sounds awesome and thank god because I thought I was screwed"
'You know I wouldn't let that happen"
"Yeah" so as the six weeks went on everyone basically lived in the hospital with Anna and she was caught with school and even Rector came and visited her and her arm healed surprisingly quick so she got her cast off and so a few days after she got it off the doctor told her that her ribs were fully healed,she survived six weeks in a hospital and was discharged and the first thing they did was get ice cream and Anna noticed that something was up with Billie like he had something up sleeve or something so then they headed back to Scott's and he went back to work and they all sat down and Anna was itching to know what Billie had planned
"Did I miss something"
"No I just have a surprise for you,for later"
"Okay,so I am free and can be active again,who wants to go to the skate park"and the guys agreed,so they headed up to the skate park and it was a Monday on a school day so no one was there so Billie and Mike skated around on ramps and Anna rode around on ramps her bike and Tre just rode around the skate park and didn't really do anything so he wouldn't mess up Scott's bike and they had a fun time,then headed to Starbucks for caffine and Billie,Tre and Anna had no idea how Mike didn't lose it without caffine for this long and so the sat on the gaint stair case and just drank their coffee and Billie started smiling for no reason and Anna spoke
"What"
"Nothing its just what I have planned for later'
"Which is what"
"You'll see"he said taking a drink of his coffee and got up and walked up the stair case a bit so that Anna couldn't hear him and called someone
"Hey Joan"
"Hey Billie whats up"
"Well I was wondering if you could come over becasue I have an idea for Anna,that we could all play a show at the Rave to celebrate her being healthy again"
"Yeah that sounds awesome,so what time"
"Well I want you to be down at the Rave at like 7:30"
"Okay cool"
"Just don't tell Anna okay"
"I won't,bye Billie"
"Bye' so Billie hung up and walked back down by Anna,Mike,and Tre
"Who was that"
"No one" Billie said sitting back down and taking a sip of his coffee
"Okay"so Anna rode around with the guys through the back ways of Tosa and had fun and they eventually made their way back to Scott's and Billie suggested practicing so they came up with a list of songs to practice

so they practiced that list a few times over which took a few hours then Billie got a call and he set his guitar down and stepped outside so Anna didn't hear
"Hey Joan"
"Hey Billie,I'm at the Rave"
"Okay we'll be there soon,bye"
"Bye"so Billie headed back inside and him and the guys started packing stuff up and Anna just stood there confused and packed Frankie and Joey and Billie spoke
"Well looks like we're ready lets go"
"Okay where are we going"
'You'll see"so they put everything in the car and started heading toward the Rave and when they got there and pulled up and say the sign that said 'Green Day and Joan Jett,Plus Special Guest'
"Billie you didn't"she said with a gaint smile on her face
"I did"he said smiling,so they headed in and set up and Joan came from somewhere
"Hey guys"
"Hey Joan" then they practiced and relaxed until and waited for people to file in until the show started at 9:00,then before they knew it,it was show time and Anna hugged Adrienne and they walked out on stage and Anna believe it or not saw Rector in the crowd,and Anna grabbed Frankie and Billie grabbed Blue and they both stood in front of their microphones along with Joan and Billie spoke
"How all you guys doin"and the crowd went crazy
"Well you guys might not know this but this awesome kid standing next to me is the special guest Miss.Anna Kushner,and this show is to celebrate her making a full recovery after being brutally beat up by kids at her school and being in the hospital for six weeks and you won't believe what she can do on guitar,so lets have a fucking awesome time and go fucking crazy alright" and the crowd lost it and Billie spoke
"This first song is by Anna and its like a mini Jesus of Suburbia" so they played St.Insomnia then Bad Reputation then they played King for a Day and during the pause Anna spoke
"Any kid out there who is ashamed of being gay,trans,lesbian,genderfluid or whatever, I back you one million percent and I love you,I'm gay and genderfluid and don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't wear or not let you be who are,be proud because love is not a choice and to any of those homophobic,transphobic assholes out there FUCK YOU" and they jumped right back into King for a Day and Shout then they played down the list and had a kick ass time,Anna crowd surfed and people staged dived and there was of course a mosh pit but before that happened Anna spoke
"If you wanna start a fucking pit there are three rules 1: Don't be an asshole and mess with anyone,2; If someone falls pick them up,3: Have a great fucking time" then there was a pit but a controlled pit,and they played everything and when they started playing Wake Me Up When September Ends Billie got choked up so Anna gave him a hug and they both sang it together and when the started playing Good Ridance Anna spoke
"Miss Rector get up here you know the lyrics I know you do" so Rector got up on stage and Anna handed her the mic and she sang it ,then when she was done she did a stage dive and then Anna spoke again
"Billie change in plans" and he looked at her confused and she started playing Posers
"Surprise" and she sang and played it,then she grabbed Joey and started playing Strung Out and before she stared singing
"Any person out there who feels the need to cut,stop I was a victim of it and if you stop you'll feel a lot better and I love you" then she sang and played it and when she was done she looked up and saw Joan and Adrienne in tears then Billie went up to her in tears and hugged her and whispered in her ear
'Thank was amazing and I love you,and did you save those songs for me to hear" and Anna nodded her head
"I love you too,now you wanna play Thank You with me"
"Of course"so Billie grabbed his guitar and stepped in front of the mic
"Um I was not expecting that but it was awesome,now this song was also written by Anna and it goes like this"so they jumped into Thank You and by the end of it Anna and Billie were both holding back tears and Anna spoke
"Ladies and gentlemen give it up for Joan Jett,Mr.Billie Joe Armstrong,Mr.Mike Dirnt,and last but not least,Mr.Tre Cool,thank you" then before everyone walked off stage Billie spoke
"Give it up for Anna,she has survived hell and back at her age,her dad being in a coma,being beaten up three times,a broken arms,broken ribs,multiple black eyes,spilt lips,and busted noses and being in the hospital for six weeks,she is the greatest kid ever and I love her and she is awesome for standing up for what she believes in,for being real and one of the strongest people that I know,give it up for her one more"and when he was done talking had tears in his eyes and the crowd went insane and Anna walked back out by Billie in tears
"Billie you made me cry"she said smiling and giving Billie a hug and she spoke again
"And if anything I have said gets me beat up again I honestly don't care because I would rather be hated and beat up for being me then being liked and loved for being something I'm not and FUCK SAINT JUDE SCHOOL,no offense Miss Rector" and Anna heared a small
"None taken" from the crowd and the crowd lost it and then Billie spoke
"Thank you and goodnight" and they walked off stage and Adrienne hugged the life out of Anna and so did Mike and Tre and Joan and they all had tears in their eyes and Joan spoke
'Damn kid I have to hand it to you,those were some kick ass songs and how much you speak your mind"
"Thanks,if it gets me beat up again so what I honestly don't care"then Adrienne spoke
"Anna you did so amazing and what you said god I just love you' and Adrienne gave her another hug
"Thanks did you record it"then Billie spoke
"You had her record it'
"Yeah so my dad could see it"
"Oh cool,well I'm beat who wants ice cream"
"Me" and then Anna got an idea and went back out on stage to se if Rector was still there,she was
"Hey Miss Rector,wanna meet Joan Jett"
"Wait really"
"Yeah come on"so Rector followed Anna backstage
"Miss Rector,Joan, Joan,Miss Rector"
"Wow I definetly owe it to Anna,I've meet Green Day and now Joan Jett"and Anna spoke
"Yeah you do,but also I owe you" and then Joan spoke
"So this is your cool teacher"
"Yeah"
"Wow I can't believe wow"
"I get it just by what Anna has told us you seem cool and you help her out so thank you"
"Um your welcome,and Anna how do you have some many family friends that are famous'
"Don't look at me and I honestly don't even know"then Joan pulled something out of her pocket and handed it to Rector
"Here's some tickets and back stage passes to my show in October when I'm in Milwaukee"
"Oh my god thank you'
"Of course"
"Well bye Anna I'll see you soon"
"Bye Miss Rector" and she left
"So ice cream"and Billie just laughed
"Yeah lets go"so they packed up and they left and even Joan tagged along for ice cream and Anna spoke
"Theres this really good ice cream place by the Exclusive Company called Kopps its really cool"so they headed there and when they got there they ordered and sat out in the back by the gaint water wall that was lit up and Billie spoke
"Dang this place is cool and has awesome ice cream"
"Yeah this place is literally famous for its ice cream,its kinda like Wisconsin's Fentons"
'Cool" so they ate their ice cream and taked and took some pictures with fans,then headed back to Scott's and hung out,listened to music and relaxed and had a good time.
