Ch.34 Not So Ordinary World

Anna woke up the next day and only Adrienne was awake
"Morning Anna"she said smiling
"Hi"
"Hey Adrienne can I ask you something,since you're the only other girl here"
"Sure,shoot"
"Is it a bad thing for me to want a girlfriend at my age"
"No not at all,thats completely normal,in any case"
"It just kinda feels wrong though,like since I'm still young"
"Yeah its normal to feel that way too,nothing bad" she said smiling
"Okay,thanks Adrienne"
"Of course"she said giving Anna a hug
"And we should probaly tell them the coffee here is crap"
"Yeah"so a few minutes later everyone was awake and Mike just left and went straight to Starbucks and got coffee for everyone and then came back and once everyone had coffee in them Billie spoke
"So what should we do today"
"Well theres this really cool place downtown called Discovery World and it has everything from aquariums to a Les Paul history lesson and its cool as hell" and Billie's eyes lit up at the words Les Paul
"That sounds cool" and everyone agreed,so they got ready and they had to leave little Billie in his crate because of the pet policy when they leave,so they left and headed to Discovery World,so they got there and went in and got ticket sand obviously they went straight to the Les Paul area and Billie looked like a kid in a candy store because of how happy was
"Wow this is awesome"
"Yeah and in the next room over its a ton of Elvis stuff"
"Okay this place is offical the coolest place ever"Billie said still smiling like and idiot,then they hit pretty much every exhibit and had a crap ton of fun,then they left and walked a long the lake front because it was super nice out then Billie spoke
"So whos up for eating"
'I am"Anna said
"Same"Mike said
"I could eat"Tre said
"Sounds good"Adrienne said
"Anna,know any good places around downtown to eat"
"Theres this good place called Vagabond not far from here"
"Sounds good"so they headed over to Vagabond and were seated immediately and Billie spoke
"It kinda looks like Gilman threw up in here"he said laughing
"Yeah but its cool"
"Totally,so whats good here"
'Pretty much everything" so they ordered and ate and Billie spoke
"Does Milwaukee just have awesome food or something"
"Yeah" so they finished eating and headed back to the hotel so little Billie could be let out of his crate and Billie noticed that Anna was upset
"Hey what's wrong"
"I'm just thinking about what I'm gonna do with little Billie when I'm at my dad's"
"Oh well I'm sure we'll figure something out'
"Thanks Billie"she said giving him a hug
"Of course"he said smiling
"Um can I explain something to you"
"Sure"
"Well my mom and I have always not gotten along and it got super bad back in 2016 when I was in 5th grade and stuff was really bad hell I used to go to school and punch myself in the jaw because back then I thougth shit was my fault and my friend's mom died and the election and I scared the living crap outta some kids,like I almost broke my jaw and I had bruises it was bad and my teachers didn't even notice and no kid said jack and my mom,she put me in a situation I wasn't supposed to be in on a weekend,she brought her boyfriend that I didn't know about over and guilt tripped me into going and eating with them and I came back home and balled my eyes out then the next weekend my parents told me were getting divorced and it was ugly and I was in a bad place then and I honestly had no one to turn to and I lived with my dad for a month because i couldn't even stand to look at my mom and apparently it got so bad in court one day because my mom didn't show up and her lawyer called my dad a terrible dad and said he doesn't care for or about me at all and he almost jumped over the fucking table,his lawyer had to stop him from doing that,crap was really bad,my mom and i never really had a good realationship because she always defends her stupid boyfriend"and luckily Mike and Tre were in their room and it was just Adrienne and little Billie in the room,because he just sat there with tears in his eyes and gave Anna a hug
"Damn,thats dang, I'm sorry your mom put you through that hell and I would have jumped over that fucking table too and none of that bullshit was your fault and you should never think that and that was nothing to hurt yourself over, I'm sorry you and your mom don't get along"
"Its fine,believe me I've had worse and we get along when its just me and her and no one else but that doesn't happen much, hell some girl tried to pay me to stop hurting myself back then,I had to take and deal with a lot of shit back then,and heck Adrienne has acted more like a mom then my mom ever has to me and I've only known her for like not my entire life unlike my mom"then Adrienne spoke
"I'm sorry that you even have to say that but I will always see you as a daughter to me in my eyes" and Anna got up and gave her a hug
"And I thank you for that"
"No problem" she said smiling and Anna went and sat back down by Billie and smiled
"Well enough with my fucked up past,lets have fun"
"Well what should we do" Billie asked and Anna immediately smiled
"Oh I know,I can take up to some of my favorite music stores"
"That sounds like fun,where first"
"A place called Record Head,I ride from my dad's to it a lot"so they headed over there and when they got there they walked in and Billie was impressed for a little music store,it had everything though, Cds,vinyls,posters,instruments,video games,electronics,band shirts, etc.
"This place is really cool"
"Yeah I usually just wander and look and usually get Cds"
"They have some cool guitars"
"Yeah,I love this place'
"I can see why" so they went in seperate directs,Billie went to the guitars and Anna went to the live DVDs and she found something that made her day
"Billie look what I found"and Billie walked over by her
"Huh"
'I found the DVD and Cd for Bullet in a Bible"
'Cool,wanna get it"
"Heck yeah" Anna said smiling and Billie smiled at how happy she was,but still upset about what Anna explained to him but didn't let it show,so they went to check out and the dude behind the counter's eyes went wide
"Holy shit is Billie Joe Armstrong really standing in my store"
"Yeah"Billie said smiling
"Oh my god,dude is okay if I get a picture"
"Sure"so the dude handed Anna his phone and she took a picture of Billie standing next to the guy and handed his phone back
"Holy crap thanks,y'know what thats on the house"
"Really thanks man" Billie said back as they left
"So where to next"
"Exclusive Company,I know you'll love this place"so they headed there and when they got there and walked in Billie was blown away at how big and how much music could fit into one store
'Wow this place is awesome"
"Yeah they have literally everything I think"so they wandered and Billie was still astonished and Anna spoke
"On National Record Day I remember we went to a different Exclusive Company and they didn't have the 1994 Dookie Woodstock vinyl but I got stickers and 21st Century Breakdown and behind the counter I saw like a replica of the masks you guys wore in Revolution Radio and I lost"
"Nice"Billie said laughing
"Yeah I remember I asked my mom what a lobotomy was and I thought she was gonna get mad at me that was funny"and she and Billie laughed a little
" So we got here to late and they didn't have the Dookie 1994 Woodstock vinyl but then my mom said I could get the Last of the American Girls book instead"
"Oh really"
"Yeah"and Anna ended up wandering to the Green Day vinyls and she was shocked at what she found
"Billie holy shit look what I just fucking found" and Billie looked and low and behold it was the Dookie 1994 Woodstock vinyl
"Now thats just fucking pure luck" he said
"Hell yeah"
"Hey I noticed you don't have a record player so how would you listen to it"
"My parents want me to keep my vinyls for when they're worth money"
"Whats the point of having something that you can't use it"
"I don't know"
"Fuck it I'm buying you one"he said smiling
"Wait really"
"Yeah I want you to be able to listen to this and you to be happy"and she just gave him a hug
"Thank you,I swear you keep making my day"
'Good" so they looked at record players and all of them were pretty beat up,so Billie went on his phone onto Amazon and looked up record players and they found one that was turquoise and only for like forty bucks so Billie ordered it to be delivered to the hotel and it would be there tomorrow
"Thanks Billie"
"Of course anything to make you happy"
"Even just hanging out with you makes me happy because you're awesome"
"Right back at you" so they went up to the counter to check out and the dude at the counter looked just like the guy at Record Head
"Wow um can I get a picture"
"Sure" so Anna took the picture ,like last time and the dud let them have it for free
"Thanks man"Billie said as they left
"Well there are always perks to being famous"
"I can see that,I just got a live DVD and Cd and limited edition live vinyl for free"she said smiling
"So any other music stores"
"Um Rushmor Records,that place is fucking filled with punk rock"
"Then there it is"so they headed over to Rushmor Records and the drive was worth it because when they got there Billie's mouth just dropped at how much punk could be squeezed into one little store and Anna just smiled at his reaction and spoke
"C'mon lets go look"so they look and Billie had a field day,and Anna found an American Idiot pin with the arm holding the heart granade,and most Joan Jett albums so all together they got a lot of stuff and the dude at the counter's face was priceless
'Holy fuck is the king of punk rock standing in my little punk music store"
"Yup"Billie said smiling
"Tell you what if you sign a Dookie vinyl I'll give you all of this for free"
"Okay man cool"so the dude went and grabbed a Dookie vinyl and gave Billie a Sharpie and he signed it and the dude put it on a shelf behind the counter and gave them a bag for all their stuff
"Thanks man"
"Your welcome and if your ever in town again,stop by"
'Okay" so they walked out of the store and Anna spoke
"Um this part of town is Bayview and it is the place in Milwaukee that is most jammed pact with music and gayness"
"Cool"so they drove around and stopped at a few cool places and then headed back to the hotel
"Hey guys have fun" Adrienne asked,looking up from her book
"Heck yeah I just got a live DVD and Cd limited edition live album,an American Idiot pin,and most of the Joan Jett album for free because Billie got a picture with some people and signed something and he got a lot of stuff too"she said holding up what she got and so did Billie
"Well thats good"Adrienne said smiling
"Yeah and Billie ordered me a record player"
"Cool"
"Well I'm watching this DVD" and Billie just laughed adn Adrienne spoke
"Well I think I'm gonna go by the pool and read"
'Okay,bye" and Adrienne left and Billie put the DVD in and they sat down on the bed with little Billie and through out the whole thing they laughed,sang and danced and Anna even fell off the bed
"Nice Joan Jett cover" she said in between laughs
"Thanks"
"And my gay eyes and ears"she said laughing to death looking at Billie and she fell off the bed again
"What,that was like 14 years ago what did you expect from me"
"Nothing less,but still and heck you still do that" and they just laughed
"Yeah well not that much or bad"Billie said in defense, laughing
'Yeah,wanna know something stupid"

"I looked it up on YouTube and half the videos were not allowed in the country"

"I know and I almost threw my computer across the room"

"Yeah and when you started doing that I died laughing and thank god I watched it with my dad and not my mom dear god she would have unplugged the fucking TV"and she was still laughing
"Well at least I'm amusing to you"
"You masturbated on stage in front of how many people I was laughing my ass off and so was my dad" and Billie was now laughing to death

"Yeah no shit"and once they finally stopped laughing Anna spoke
"I aslo watched Green Day in Green Bay and did you just like saying that or something"
"Yeah it was kinda catchy and that was a fun show"
"And you just saying I'm glad I don't see any phone cameras out"

"Yeah I even got mad like when I was watching the video all I saw was people going on Twitter,Facebook, or Snapchat or flimimg the entire show and not actually looking at you,having a connection and enjoying a show,I'm just like put your fricking phone down and actually watch the show you paid to see"
"Damn I would have never expected a kid your age in today's world to say something like that"

"Yeah someone gets its,I asked my mom if I could get film for my polaroid for when we see Joan Jett and she told me that I would want one or two pictures on my phone and I'm like no I'm not fake and don't wanna be fake and I don't need technology to have fun and her face was priceless"

"Yep,what else makes me mad is that kids are born into this technology and are suppose to rely on it and no how to do everything on it and its stupid,at my school its all rap and pop and fake and I'm just like you can't make fun of my bands because you don't even know who the fuck they are so your opinion is invalid"

"Um well it was a little bit after I turned 13 and I just got so fucking depressed realizing my sexuality and I was fueled by anxiety and I swear there were these four days,I was so fucked up I had to stay home from school for two days and the weekend and I didn't shower,eat,or change my clothes and I literally lived hell and I remember being like fuck it,fuck life then I saw this MCR video and it was Gerard saying that if anyone out there is depressed talk to someone,and it was after I cut that day and only that one day I started and stopped, I saw it and I went up to my mom and I told her I wasn't okay and then after MCR I got more into Green Day and I was still a bit depressed and your music helped and I just felt human again,and hell one time I was too lazy to change I went to school with leggings over my black jeans,a black and white stripped long sleeved shirt,and MCR shirt,a pink sweatshirt,and my school hoodie on two hours of sleep and my coffee that day was Green Day and it gave me the strength to at least get out of bed" and Billie was sitting there with tears rolling down his cheeks with a smile on his face and he hugged her
"I'm glad,I'm glad my music helped you feel human again"
"Yeah and those two bands taught me more then any fucking school would,that its okay to be fucked up and have flaws and to not take shit from anyone and to be proud of who I am and I swear I owe it to you guys,if you weren't around I think I probaly would be six feet under or still depressed as fuck"and Anna just held Billie's wristband hand with hers
"Well I'm always here"
"Good,like I just look back and I'm just like damn I survived hell and back and so what if that makes me imperfect and a little fucked up,and I'm just like I'm gonna live it up while I can,it goes to fucking fast"
"You got that right and its good to think like that"
"Yeah,and just to think I survived those emotional demons on my own,it even impresses me"
"Just a 13 year old being able to say that makes me proud and impressed"

"But what I don't get is that since I went through hell I feel like I don't deserve nice things or people to be nice to me and I don't know why"
"Well you do deserve those things because you survived it and you get a break in a way kinda"
"But I'm just use to having it hard and not easy and so its kinda weird to me and I feel like I'm fake kinda"

"Of course"and they were still holding hands,then they looked at the time

"Yeah I'm tired"Anna said yawning,and thet both looked down at little Billie curled up between them and smiled and then Anna passed out and so did Billie.
