Ch.52 The Rock Show

So the two weeks went by like nothing and between running from the cops,and fewer breakdowns Anna was excited as fuck,tonight she was seeing blink-182 in San Francisco and she was excited to see what strings Billie pulled,so they relaxed the entire day until they had to leave for the concert at like 6:30 because the concert was at 7:30,so it was Billie,Adrienne,Joan,and Anna going to a blink-182 concert,so they got there and went in a back way and Anna just thought because Billie didn't want to have like a million fans on him,but it was actually because of the strings he pulled,and then who is standing there none other then Mark Hoppus and so they walked up to him and Billie spoke
"Hey Mark how you doin"
"Good Billie you"
"Good"
"So this must be the infamous Anna"Mark said looking at Anna
"Yep"
"How about you have very front row seats and can up on stage and sing any blink song you want and play with Billie"
'Wait really"
"Yeah,Wayne is sick so you guys could play with us to make up for it and Billie told me you can kill it on guitar" and Anna gave Billie a hug
"So what do ya say"
"I say fuck yeah"
"Awesome"so Mark took them backstage and spoke
"So Anna what is your favorite blink song"
"I would have to say Give Me One Good Reason"
"Cool"
"I remember one time me and my mom walked into a record store and it was playing and I started mouth the words and dancing and her face was priceless because of the words"
"Nice"Mark said laughing,so then her,Billie,and Mark practiced that song and some other blink songs,because they had to play since the other performer on tour with blink was sick
"Billie you taught her to play guitar"
"Well I just taught her the basics then she did the rest"
"Damn she can play"and Billie just smiled,and so they relaxed and Anna spoke
"Its weird to think that at one point that Green Day and blink were on tour together causing trouble and trashing shit"and Billie was just laughing
"Yeah that was a fun tour,when we were riding you were like 200 $200 if you do a kick flip barefoot"
"Yeah did you even give him $200"
"No he didn't land it"
"Fair enough and you swinging from a chandelire"
'Yeah that was fun"so they relaxed and then it was time to go on so Billie,Anna,Adrienne,and Joan got there very front row seats,so the show started and they weren't gonna go onstage until later,so they enjoyed the show and Anna danced around a lot and even got in a mosh pit with Billie and Joan and had a kick ass time and when they got out she spoke
"Y'know what my parents said"
"Huh"Billie asked
"That girls don't mosh" and him and Joan started laughing and for sure got a kick outta that
"Well I'm not a girl completely so they're wrong"and Billie just smiled,so then Mark announced
"Ladies and gentlemean I now give you a very special guest two members of Green Day"so Anna and Billie got up on stage and grabbed guitars and Anna spoke
"How you guys doin"and the crowd cheered
"Alright this next song to me always was about standing out and being different and not being like everyone else and this song is called Give Me One Good Reason"so they played it and then after Anna and Billie played the remainder of the show and when it was over went backstage and met Adrienne and Joan and Adrienne gave Anna a hug
'You did awesome"
"Thanks"so she went over by Mark and spoke
"Thanks Mark for letting us do that,I had an awesome time at my first blink concert"
"Good"
"So what does Billie owe you for doing that"
"He just had to play since Wayne was sick"
"Oh thats reasonable,well thanks again"
"Yep"so she headed over by Billie and he spoke
"So how was your first blink concert"
"Um wonderful"and he started laughing and spoke
"You listened to International Superhits didn't you"
"Yep and little five year old you was adorable saying that"
"Yeah,so wanna go"
"Sure"and Billie noticed the smirk on her face
"What"
"Can we get ice cream"
"I swear is that even a question anymore"
"Nope"so they all left and headed to Baskin Robbins and got ice cream and went up to the point and just talked,joked,and ate their ice cream,then headed home after a very kickass day.
(Time skip-2 days)
So the Sum 41 show was kinda far,it was in Sacramento and that was the only California date that was the cloest so they took it,so Anna woke up excited as fuck and was wondering what strings Billie pulled so everyone got up,had coffee and then relaxed for a couple hours and leave at like 11:30 because the show is at 2:00 and Sacramento is like an hour away,so they kinda had a mini road trip and so they got there and apparently they got very front seats like at blink,so when they were seated a security guard for the band came and escourted Billie and Anna backstage and Anna fangirled out a little bit,and she saw the band and Deryck walked over to them and spoke
"Hi Billie"
"Hey Deryck"
"So I'm guessing this is Anna"
"Yeah"
"Well Billie told me a lot about you and so would you want to come on stage and play with us"
"Holy shit um hell yeah'
"Okay then,so what's your favorite Sum song"
"Walking Disaster"
"Good choice"so Anna got to practice with fucking Sum 41 and they were even impressed with her playing and kinda left a little bit speechless and her and Billie hung out backstage until the show and she walked up to Deryck
"Um Deryck"
"Yeah"
"Um I just wanna say thank you and thank Sum 41 because you your music helped me through a lot and like I remember the first time I listened to Waking Disaster and I felt a pit in my stomach and I felt pure true freedom and I'm from Wisconsin and I knew what it felt like when I turn 18 and I was gonna get the hell outta there and leave the people and places behind and start over and I was so happy I cried,and my mom was like physically there but otherwise not and so Never There really helped me with that like just thanksyour music has helped a lot"
"Wow,I'm really glad that our music had such an impact on you and helped you,I always love it when a fan tells me something like that because then I feel proud and that I've accomplished something"
"Well you have accomplished having an awesome band with awesome music thats for sure"
"Thanks"
"Yep"so it was time for them to go on,so Billie and Anna went to their very front seats and so Sum played and man Anna was like actually blown away at how good they were,she had never seen them live before and she was loving in,she was dancing and singing along and holding up her 41' solute and having an awesome time and Billie was just smiling at how happy she was and then it was toward the end of the show and Deryck spoke
"Ladies and gentlemen now I give you a very special guest"so Billie and Anna went up on stage and so they played Walking Disaster and Anna played with her heart and soul and after the song was over Anna asked Deryck if she could say something and he was totally fine with it and she went up to the mic and spoke
"I remember the first time I ever heard that song it was like three in the morning and I listened to it and I felt a pit in my stomach and I felt freedom, true freedom and I'm from Wisconsin and I knew what it felt like when I turn 18 and get the hell outta there and leave the people and places behind and start over and I was so happy I cried and so I thank Sum 41 not just for that but for also getting my through some pretty shitty times and i know I am not the only one here who can say that"and the crowd cheered,so Billie and Anna got down off stage and enjoyed the rest of the show and since the were in the very front row,like right up to the stage Deryck gave Anna a Order in Decline and Underclass Hero guitar pick and that made her night,so after the show they went backstage again and Anna and Billie thanked Deryck and then left and headed back home after an amazing concert and Anna passed out on the way back even though it was like 4:30 in the afternoon,but whatever.
(Time skip-2 days)
It was Friday and Anna woke up excited as fuck, she was going to see fucking Fall Out Boy and was even more excited about the strings he pulled,so everyone relaxed until the concert,and Billie was happy because of how excited Anna was and she was so excited she even asked
"What strings did you pull"
"You'll see"he said smiling
"Oh come on"and he just laughed,and the show didn't start until 8:00,so they left at like 7:30 and when they got there,they headed backstage and boom Fall Out Boy was right there and Anna almost lost it,so her and Billie went up to Patrick and Pete and Pete spoke
"Hi Billie"
"Hey Pete"
"So this is Anna"Pete said looking at Anna
"Yeah"
"Well Billie told me you can kill it guitar,so would you want come on stage a play a few songs with"
"Holy crap really,I get to play with Fall Out Boy"
"Yeah why not and where are you from"
"Wisconsin"
"Andy,the kid's from Wisconsin"and Andy walked over by them and spoke
"You're from Wisconsin"
"Yeah"
"What part"
"Milwaukee"
"Cool,you like the Packers"
"Sorry but no"and Andy pretended to be offended
"Do you remember anyone from like middle school named Rhiannon"
"That does ring a bell"
"She's my dad's girlfriend and she showed me her year book,you were a dork" and Andy just laughed
"Yeah I was"and Patrick spoke
"So Anna what songs do you wanna play"
"How many can I pick"
"Um four"
"Okay,um City in a Garden,Hum Halleujah,Save Rock'n'Roll,and Expensive Mistakes"
"Cool"so they practiced those four songs,and Anna was just smiling like an idiot the entire time because um she was practicing with fucking Fall Out Boy ,so after they were done practicing Anna went up to Patrick
"Um Patrick"
"Yeah"
"Um can I tell you something"
"Sure"
"Um thank you guys not just for this but your music has helped me through some stuff and like an example would be Save Rock'n'Roll,like the lyric 'I've cried tears you've never seen,so fuck you,you can go cry an ocean and leave me be' like that almost made me cry tears of joy because of how much I could relate to it because my mom she was never really emotionally there for me,or like Expensive Mistakes where I'm from that song makes me feel free when I leave Wisconsin behind, and like City in a Garden that makes me feel like when I go back to Wisconsin when I'm older and just see whats happened and just overall thank you,for being awesome people and your music being awesome"
"Well your welcome and you seem like a really cool kid and I'm glad it helped you"and Patrick being the kindest human being on the entire fricking planet,gave Anna a hug,and her face was priceless,and walked over by Billie and he spoke
"What"he asked smiling
"I just got a hug from Patrick Stump"and she couldn't stop smiling,which made Billie smile,and it was show time so Billie and Anna went and got there very front row seats and the show started and Anna was dancing and jumping and singing along and having an awesome time and just loved it,and not til later that Patrick annoucned
"And now ladies and gentlemen a special guest"so Billie and Anna got up on stage
"This special guest is from Wisconsin like Andy and has played many many times with Green Day and can kill it on guitar and is very very good friends with Mr.Billie Joe Armstrong and Joan Jett" so then they played Hum Halleujah,then City in a Garden,then Expensive Mistakes,then Save Rock'n'Roll,then after Anna spoke
"Thank you Fall Out Boy for letting me and Billie do this and thank you for your awesome music that has made a difference in my life so thank you" then Anna and Billie got off stage and went back to their seats and enjoyed the rest of the show and Anna and Billie danced and jumped around and Anna sang along and Billie was just smililng at how happy Anna was,he knew that she was okay and not thinking about anything bad and that made him happy and kinda confused him that she could go from breakdowns almost everyday to jumping and dancing and singing along and being happy as heck,so after the show they went backstage and went by Patrick and Pete and Patrick spoke
"You did awesome guys"
"Thanks"
"And thank for letting us do that I had an awesome time at my first Fall Out Boy concert"
"Well I'm glad you had an awesome time"and Pete gave her a guitar pick and then Andy walked over by them and gave Anna his drum sticks and spoke
"Tell Rhiannon I said hi"
"Will do" then Billie spoke
"Thanks again guys"
"Of course"and Patrick gave Anna a hug,then her and Billie left and Anna was smiling like an idiot and spoke
"Okay it is safe to say that this has been the most kick ass week ever,I got to see blink and practice with with them,I got to see Sum 41,practice with them and play with them and got an Order in Decline and Underclass Hero guitar pick,I got to see practice with Fall Out Boy, got two hugs from Patrick Stump,got to play four songs with them,one of Pete Wentz's guitar picks and a pair of Andy Hurley's drum sticks"
"Ya think,that was awesome and dancing and jumping around and you singing your lungs out and you looked so happy"
"Yeah,my happy place is concerts"
"That sounds accurate"so they headed home after a kick ass day, well week.
