The Proposal

Lili PoV

Cole and I are I don't know where in our relationship. He keeps kind of avoiding me. After shooting he and I go back to our own places. If we meet, we meet on set and that's been happening for the past 2 weeks.

Is he cheating on me?

No, that can't be true! 

I reached set a little early today and straight away went to the make up trailer.
I saw Cole and Cami sitting side by side and talking.
Cami had a smile plastered on her face, just like Cole's.

" hey guys" I said and both of them changed their expressions immediately.
" what's up? You guys seemed happy before I came in." I said.
" we are normal Lils" Cami said clearing her throat.
" yeah nothing special" Cole said, not even making eye contact.
I just sat on my chair away from the both of them.
They both frowned and looked at each other.
Your best friend and boyfriend talking to each other so happily and not including you. Not the best feeling.
Maybe I'm behaving too possessive, but I can't help it!

My phone rang and it was my mum.

I went outside the trailer to talk to her.

I came back inside and sat down again where I was sitting earlier.
I was hoping that Cole would come and sit besides me, but he didn't even look at me.

" Lili, Roberto is calling you on set" the assistant director came and told me.
" I'll be there in 5" I said.

After I was ready, I walked out glancing at Cole.
But he was too busy scrolling his phone.

Wow, he doesn't even care!

Cole PoV

As I walked inside the trailer, I saw Cami.
She turned around to say Hi.
I was taking out my phone from my coat pocket and the box fell out.
The box which has the ring.

" oh my god" she said " is that an engagement ring?" She said gasping.
" keep your voice down" I said.
" and yes that's an engagement ring" I said with a smile on my face.
" oh my god, I want to see it" she said squealing.
" but nobody can know okay?" I said and she continued squealing whilst looking at the ring.
" it's gorgeous" she said.
"But why did you get it on set?"
" it came in this morning and I put it in my coat in a hurry" I said.
" when are you going to do it?" She asked.
" today evening. I checked her schedule she gets free a little later after me" I said " everything is set, I decorated my whole place and even called up her dad" I said squealing with her now.
We both started talking about the proposal with a big smile plastered on both of our faces.

Lili walked in the trailer looking a little down.
I was dying to go and hug and kiss her. But was too scared that I'll just blurt everything out and mess it up. Mess something up that I've been planning to do since the past 2 weeks.
I was avoiding her.
I have been acting like this since the past few days and I have no clue how she's putting up with me. 

" hey guys" she said " you guys seemed so happy before I came in".
" we are normal Lils" Cami said.
" yeah nothing special" I said avoiding eye contact.
She sat away from the both of us and I frowned.
Her phone rang and she went outside.
" nothing special? Seriously Cole" Cami said.
" see that's exactly why I've been avoiding her" I said.
" don't do it much tho" Cami said and I nodded.
I'll kiss her bye.

My phone beeped and it was a mail from my manger.
I started reading it.
When I finished I saw that Lili had already taken off to shoot and I muttered a little " oh shit" under my breath.
I ran and saw that she had already started shooting.
