" hey babe" cole called out to his wife.

" yeah" she asked as she was picking out an outfit to wear to today's table read.

" when are you going to give the ring for fitting?"

" oh my god, i totally forgot, i'll give it today" she said.

" the table read is in like 45 minutes "

" oh god yes, you know what, i'm going to change and i'll go the jewellers right now, it's been too long. before i forget again" she said.

" you gonna be late?"

" i hope not, but i don't want you to be late, i'll reach directly"

" oh okay" he said and went to take a shower.

LILI POV

it was so crazy, cole and i got the lead role in the same tv show.

we both were really excited for this project.

well, we got married a month ago and the ring was a little bit loose.
but me being a perfectionist, i wanted it to be perfect.

but because of the constant meetings and calls, i kept forgetting.

but not today.

i'll give my ring for fitting and then head to the table read.

I got a little bit late, so i called to inform cole.

" hey, i'll be late"

" i knew it"

" oh gosh, okay, anyway, i'll be there in 15"

" the meetings starting in 5 babe"

" i know" i said, a little frustrated.

" don't be too late"

" i'll try my best. bye"

" bye, love you" he said.

" love you too" i said and hung up the phone.

i reached the place where the table read was supposed to be held, and it took me another 5 minutes to figure in which room was the meeting.

it'd be an understatement to say that i was late.

i opened the door, and everyone was staring at me.

" i'm sorry i'm late" i said.

" it's okay Lili, don't be late next time"
Roberto, the director of riverdale said.

" i promise, i had some urgent work to do"
i replied and sat down at the chair which was left for me.

it was between Camila and KJ.

I had already met the cast, and cole had only met KJ.

Camila, I mean Cami, she insists that we should call her that.
