"Een stoere bloem met een koninklijke achternaam, boop, verdwenen van de lijst op 29 April."

'A tough flower with a royal last name, has disappeared from the list on April 29.' Violet thought. 'How do I know that?'

The man stepped towards her. "You do understand me, don't you? Then again it has been...what 15 years?" The man said with a sense of familiarity.

Violet gulped at his...strangeness, her heart racing, and said to herself, 'Don't let up, he's trying to get info out of you. He lies, he's a liar. Stand strong.'

"H-how did you know I was here?" Violet asked to delay whatever he was going to do, she mentally cursed for stuttering.

"Do you know Conrad Fernandez?" The man said, looking intently at Violet's face.

'Conrad?' Violet thought with unsteady eyes.

The man didn't wait for Violet to answer and just rambled saying, "Anyways, I ran into that guy and bla bla bla he was foolish enough to let me enter his house."

Violet clicked her tongue and glared at the man.

The man saw that, his eyes lit up. "I was going to tell you a nice little story but your expression is truly amazing!" His voice exclaimed.

Violet flinched, 'His facial expression and voice changed. Scary.'

"I wonder what your expression would be before I kill you." The man with such delight.

Violet unconsciously stepped backwards with her quivering legs. Her eyes widened and her eyebrows furrowed. She felt sweat forming on the back of her head and hands. Who wouldn't feel this way, the man saw killing a person as a delight.

Footsteps were heard outside the room they were in, Violet tried to yell but her mouth was quickly covered by the man's hand. Violet struggled, trying to free herself from his grip but that didn't do anything.

The man smirked, which made Violet shiver in fear. The man leaned his head towards Violet's and whispered to her, holding a blade towards her bare neck, "Try anything and I'll kill you right now, but if you be a good girl, you can live a couple more hours."

Violet tried resisting again, but was met with a heavy breath to her ear.

Violet's mind froze, and was stuck in a traffic of thoughts. She couldn't processing what was happening, she tried to calm down but couldn't. In result her ears pierced sharply painful, her head hurts, she covered her ears roughly and curled up in a ball on the floor.

Violet, at that moment forgot the person that was in the room with her, and over-thought on what was happening.

She never broke down. Never. But this was different. This man who confronted her, was mostly one of the assassins who heard about me from Gardarik.

The man kneeled down, then quickly and roughly shoved a piece of clothing in Violet's mouth.

Violet couldn't breath, she tried to calm down but couldn't help but panic. She was so red, so helpless, so vulnerable.

"Now, now, just let me kill you quietly and we can go our separate ways..." The man said, then bursting out in laughter. "You get it! You'll die and I'll live! Hahahaha!"

Fortunately, the man was heard and the door broke and opened up by a loud kick.
