"Kousuke." Violet said, knowing it was him.

Kousuke was the man she was waiting for, actually it was, "Sorry, Sergeant Kousuke." Violet said, correcting herself.

"Kousuke is fine, I'm retired anyway." Kousuke said, walking towards Violet. "You can sit down, I'm the one who called you here after all." Sitting down.

"Um, coffee?" Asked Maria.

"Black please." Kousuke answered.

"And your tea will be up in a bit." Maria said, towards Violet.

"Right, thank you." Violet answered.

Then Maria walked away.

Violet and Kousuke sat in silence until Kousuke spoke, "How are you?"

"I am...good, you?" Violet said, somewhat true.

"I am well. Happily married." Kousuke stated.

"Congratulations, me too." Violet said, smiling.

"I know." Kousuke stated bluntly.

"Oh." Violet said, thinking this situation has happened before.

"Not to be rude, but I already knew that you were married. I went to your home with my brother." Kousuke explained. "I saw you. With a man, with a gun. May I asked what happened in there?"

"Yes, well, that man tried to shoot me, hit me on my shoulder, a couple of inches near my head. Tried to kill me." Violet replied, quite blunt as well.

Though, Kousuke didn't flinch, he replied back. "I am very sorry to hear that. I wish to skip the formality and catch up with your daily life."

"Might as well, please." Violet asked.

"Of course, now, to why I asked you here." Kousuke started.

Violet nodded for him to continue.

"Honestly, when my brother and I came to your home, we expected to have an short interview with you and your husband, Mr. Bougainvillea. And when I heard rumor that you were staying here, I decided to try my luck here." Kousuke stated.

"I apologize for that, Sir." Violet said.

"No, no, all is well, considering what unfortunate thing have happened to you....and please, call me Kousuke, and can I call you by your given name?" Kousuke asked.

"Well of course, it's only fair. And about the interview." Violet asked.

"Yes, will it be alright to start now?" Kousuke asked, starting to pull out a pad of paper.

"Actually, do you mind if we take this to my cabin? My husband is waiting for me." Violet said, asking for a compromise.

"Mm? Of course, I'm the one who asked for the interview, so I should be the one to adjust, I promise the questions won't take you long, but what will of our drinks that we requested? Surely they are not to be wasted." Kousuke said, standing up.

"I will ask them for a container they can put it in." Violet replied, walking towards the counter.

"Ms. Violet." Kousuke said.

Violet paused, "Yes."

Kousuke layed 2 bills of cash on Violet's hand.

"Let me pay, it'll be my pleasure." Kousuke said.

Without letting Violet refuse, he headed for the door.

"I'll wait for you outside." He stated.

After getting their drinks, they started walking towards the cabin. When they reached Violet's cabin, she opened the door, only to see Gilbert standing right in front of her.

Kousuke, seeing Gilbert, greeted him with a sincere smile.

"Major Gilbert, nice to see you again."
