(A/N: Well, since nobody commented in the last few days, let's just continue the story. Did you guess who Richmond is?)

"Yes, you see, I'm full name is John Richmond Evergarden Jr. My late father was the original one. The owner of the Evergarden household right now, I'm assuming she still is, 'Miss Evergarden' as they call her, is my beloved daughter. Ah, I still remember when she said she didn't want to come with me. She said wanted to continue the family business, ha! And what I wanted to do was set up a small cafe in a lovely town." The old man said, reminiscing. The old man, now known as John Richmond.

"Wonderful." Violet commented. "I never knew." She added with a growing smile on her face.

Curious, the old man smiled as well, asking, "Oh? You never knew what, Miss?"

"Well you see, Sir. John Richmond, I-" Violet said, briefly interrupted.

"Oh, call me Jori, it's my nickname around these parts, since you gave me something to feel nostalgic, I think you would like to know my nickname." 'Jori' said, before nodding for her to continue.

Violet chuckling at his easy-going attitude, before continuing. "Well, Sir. Jori, I am actually adopted by the Evergarden household a few years ago, and I believe your daughter is my acting guardian."

"Oh?" Jori raises an eyebrow, "Oh? Ohhh! How wonderful! I never would've imagined I would meet you! My daughter sends me letters every now and then, and so I recieved a letter that she had taken in a young woman, I never would've thought I'd meet you. My daughter rarely visits me nowadays."

Jori was so excited, he stood up raising his hands, looking around the cafe before yelling.

He pointed, "Brook, Helm, Robert! Everyone!" The people who were in the cafe, most-familiar with Jori. "Meet my  granddaughter!" He gestured Violet to stand up, to which Violet happily stood up.

The whole cafe resounded with claps, chatter, and cheers.

"And to celebrate, the whole house can get one free drink, anything on the menu, on me! Including my wonderful staff!" Jori yelled out.

The cafe shouted with more cheers.

Jori smiled, before sitting back down with Violet. "Do you care if we chat a little in private? In my office perhaps?" Jori offered.

Violet hesitated a little, looking at the group.

Emma stood up, "It's okay, Violet. We'll continue the survey, you can talk for a while, we have a lot of time tomorrow anyway." Emma said, bowing to Violet for the drinks and cake.

"Yeah, we'll see you later." Yousef said, laying a couple of Euros on the table before dragging Yousin.

"B-but, the cake isn't done...." Yousin commented.

Then Jori stood up, "Shall we?"

Violet looked beside her first, seeing Gilbert. She smiled, took Gilbert's hand before following Jori.

Sire John (Jori) Richmond Evergarden Jr. had 2 other siblings, his younger twin, John Richard Evergarden, and his younger sister, Rachel Grace Evergarden.

His father, Sire John Richmond Evergarden, as well as his twin brother, Richard, had perished in a nearby explosion near their military tent. That was when the Evergarden twins were only 18. It was an ambush.

Unfortunately, later in the year, their little sister, Gracey, have passed away due to a growing illness in her lungs.

With so much grief, young Jori met Josephine, and fell in love. They were like any other couple, dated, married, children.

They had one child.

That later had a son.

Both of them, left by the father.

Strong young man, the son was, with such determination and charm, he battled in the war of xxxx, unfortunately, he was found dead as well, hero, that he was.

Then, came Violet. Just Violet. No famous last name. No social background. Just there. Violet. Oh how lucky Miss Evergarden have been when she met her. She was quite suprised by Violet's stature, but she had enough passion to not give up on a person.

Violet. Violet Evergarden. Violet Evergarden-Bougainvillea. You don't know how much wounds these names have been through.

"I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry."

"It's all my fault."

"I never shouldn't started thinking this was okay."

"I want to die."

"Please kill me."

"Thank you."
