Around the afternoon they stopped at a certain shop for a break. It was a tavern/cafe.
They all walked in, they were greeted with smiles by the owners and waiters. "How many with be sitting?"
"5 please."
They were sitted at a spot right next to the window, as they sit down and still ponder what they want to order, they briefly, but silently, looked around at the cafe, slowly filling up with people where a quite nostalgic scene plays out.
People, different sizes, color, age, professional come at this cafe with a sense of familiarity to the owner behind the bar. It looked kind of like a guild, the structural design of the cafe even replicates it.
These people, order, eat, talk, and drink in comfort like it was their own home. What a nice aura to be around.
"Oh, how about this, blueberry cheesecake, I haven't tasted a cheese cake before, I'll try that. You know, something new right? There's no time like the present." Yousin declared.
Yousef nodded, "I'll have that too, and bottles of water for the both of us is fine."
"Mm, I'll have the butter short cake, vanilla frosting, and some black tea, please." Emma ordered.
"Okay, I'll have...the red velvet cake, and water will be just fine. It been a while since I had cake. How about you, Violet?" Gilbert asked.
"Well, speaking of trying something new, I don't think I have ever tasted this Ice cream confectionary before. I'd like the...Vanilla flavored one please. Some hot chocolate drink is what I'll have, thank you." She said lastly to the waiter.
"Yes, thank you for ordering at Evergarden Cafe, your order will come shortly." The waiter bowed, and before he left, someone tapped him on the shoulder. "Yes?"
"Right, about that. I'd like to speak to the owner of this tavern, please." Violet asked.
"Oh? Is there a problem with our service?" The waiter asked worriedly.
"Oh no, not at all, I am just curious to meet the owner is all, that is, if he doesn't mind." Violet asked kindly.
The waiter smiled, "Alright, I shall ask the owner if he isn't too busy to meet you, I'm sure he isn't." He bowed, "Excuse me for a moment."
"So why'd you want to talk to the owner?" Emma asked.
"Well, I'm curious is all, the name of the cafe is Evergarden, it peaks my curiousity." Violet replied.
Emma nodded, "Very well..."
A while later, the waiter came out with their orders.
"Here you go, 2 slices of blueberry cheesecake, 3 bottles of water, 1 slice of short cake, black tea, 1 slice of red velvet cake, vanilla ice cream, and a hot chocolate. The owner will come at your table shortly, Miss." The waiter said, before bowing and going back to his service.
Once they got their order,
"Mm, so creamy and sweet...."
The twins commented on their cheesecake. While the others enjoyed their sweets in silence, nodding to how just the right amount of sweetness it has.
Then, an elderly man, quite sincerely handsome, walked towards their table.
"Sirs, Ma'ams, I heard that someone requests to meet me?"
"Yes sir, I am that person." Violet said, speaking up.
"Yes? What do you wish to ask?" The old man asked, kindly.
"Well, I'll be straightforward and ask, where did the 'Evergarden' name come from? Your sign says, Evergarden cafe, so I'm quite curious. Pardon me, but isn't 'Evergarden' the family name of a historical family in Leidenshaftlich?" Violet asked calmly.
"Oh? It's been a while since someone asked me that question." The old man raises his eyebrows in clear excitement, making the group smile a bit. "Mind if I join your table for a while?" He asked.
"Of course, please do so." Violet replied smiling.
The old man sat down in joy, "Oh, where do I start...mmm, I am a part of the Evergarden Residence once. You see, my name is Richmond Evergarden." He happily declared.
"Oh?" Intriguing.
(A/N: Guess who? Who will this old man be to Violet Bougainvillea? And how is he connected to the Evergardens? Let's see who can guess first! No price yay! Joking, price is I'll add any small detail that you decide for the story, like Gilbert can speak a little spanish or something. Next update in 5 days, good luck!) Comment!
