Kyoshi held her hand over the bowl again. She concentrated to make the water feel the balance within her but she knew it couldn't, she still had the ache of losing Adachi. She sighed and realized then that was probably the problem, she had no balance within her.
"Why did you stop?". Sako asked.
"I just realized that I have no balance within myself". She said.
Sako smiled,"Well done, Kyoshi. You have just found the root of your problem".
Kyoshi looked up at him,"Wait! You knew?".
Sako nodded,"Yes, of course. I was only waiting for you to find it yourself as well".
"I'm still upset about losing a friend of mine, whom I was very close to. He was the man I loved". Kyoshi said, she knew in situations like these that you should speak your mind when it is necessary.
"You still feel a sentience of guilt?". Sako asked.
"Yes". Kyoshi said.
"Kyoshi, when it comes to things like this you need to accept what happened. You need to forgive yourself and remind yourself of what happened was not your fault". Sako said,"That is if you want to move the bowl of water".
"I want to continue trying". Kyoshi said, confidently.
Sako nodded.
Kyoshi smiled and started to think positive thoughts, she held her hand out again and concentrated to feel the pull of the water. She felt energy travel up her arm and she made sure to let the water sense her balance. She opened her eyes and saw a tendril of water rising out of the bowl toward her hand, she smiled as tears came to her eyes and she started chuckling.
"Excellent work, Kyoshi. You have found your balance". Sako said.
Kyoshi smiled,"Thank you, Master Sako".
"We will pick this up later". He said, walking away.
"Can't we continue?". Kyoshi asked.
"One step at a time, Kyoshi. Waterbending is not about overextending yourself". Sako smiled before leaving.
Kyoshi smiled back as well.
She was about to leave when she heard giggling come from behind her, she turned and saw Sorin and Princess Yuna walking along the trail that was provided. Kyoshi scowled when she saw Yuna's arm draped through his, she didn't like it at all.
"Avatar Kyoshi". Kyoshi saw Yuna wave her over.
She slowly approached them and she continued help but stare at the place where Yuna's arm was, she didn't know why she was feeling this way. Sorin has been around girls many times before during their travels, so why was Yuna bothering her.
Is this jealousy? Am I jealous.
"Hey, Kyoshi". Sorin greeted.
"Hi Sorin". Kyoshi said, blushing at seeing him smile at her.
She started seeing Sorin differently after that talk with Rangi on the ship. She now saw how handsome he really was, she liked his luxurious long hair that he always tied up.
"Avatar Kyoshi. Why didn't you tell me that your friend was so funny?". Yuna said.
"You can call me Kyoshi, princess".
"Oh okay. Kyoshi it is now". Yuna smiled.
Kyoshi forced a fake smile.
"Hey, didn't you have a lesson today?". Sorin asked.
"I just finished. I was able to move water this time". Kyoshi said to Sorin.
"Wow, that's amazing. You learn so quickly". Yuna said.
Sorin smirked,"I'll say".
"Do you still need help with mastering that lightning technique?". Kyoshi asked.
"Actually, no. Yuna told me that she knew a few teachers that could help me find a way to bend lightning using waterbending moves". Sorin said with a smile,"Isn't that great?!".
Kyoshi faked a happy smile,"That's great, Sorin. I hope you find what you're looking for".
"I do too. He told me how he was looking for answers for two years". Yuna said.
Kyoshi almost scowled at moment. Sorin told Yuna his past, how could he? She thought she and Sorin had a bond with each other after telling each others secrets but now he took it away by telling another girl his past.
"I have to go. I promised I'd go see Rangi later". Kyoshi said,"Bye".
Sorin watched her leave. He knew Kyoshi very well, he was very observant and calculating and he knew she was acting weird and he didn't know why.
"Come, Sorin. Let me give you a tour of Avatar Kuruk's shrine". Yuna said pulling him.
I need to talk to that girl later.
.................................
Rangi was reading a scroll in her room with a smile on her face, she was about to put it down when she heard her bedroom door slam open. She quickly turned to see Kyoshi entering with annoyed stomps.
"Is there a reason why you barged into my room like a rhino lizard?". Rangi asked with a irritated smile."What if I was naked in here?".
"It happened again, Rangi". Kyoshi said, sitting on Rangi's bed and resting her head in her hands.
Rangi raised an eyebrow,"What happened?".
"I saw him with Yuna again". Kyoshi said,"It made my blood boil just seeing him close to her like that, she even had the audacity to drape her arm through his".
Rangi's eyes widened,"She what? Wow, that princess wastes no time".
"Rangi". Kyoshi said.
"Okay, okay, sorry". Rangi said.
"Sorin has been around girls before during our journey together but I didn't feel jealous then, so I don't understand why it is happening now". Kyoshi groaned.
"Let me tell you why you feel that way: You have feelings for Sorin and no, it's not a friend thing. It is a romantic thing, you like him". Rangi said.
"I like him?". Kyoshi asked.
"Yes, you do. And if by chance, you may even love him". Rangi said.
Kyoshi twiddled with her thumbs,"I guess I could say I like him but I don't think I love him".
"Well duh, you first have to like someone before you love them". Rangi said.
"What do I do?". Kyoshi asked.
"Well, since you hate seeing him being around Yuna you need to take every chance to spend time with him. Yuna shouldn't get any chance with him, he is your man and no one else's". Rangi said.
"Sorin is not my man, Rangi". Kyoshi blushed.
Rangi smirked,"Not yet at least".
Kyoshi glared at her.
