the knight in shining armor came and stole the princess' heart,
but only for about 4 months.
she got bored of the same old fairy tale,
and besides,
the knight wasn't as good as they made him seem in the books.
in fact, in some ways, he was worse than any dragon.
so princess finds a common man,
quiet and reserved
and she cracks him open and finds
the home that she never found in any knight
or any fairy tale.
the moral of the story is to not wait for your knight, because he's a dick.
you want someone real?
he's out there.
go find him yourself, princess.
put on your heels,
slap on your best highlight and your
favorite lip gloss and
go look.
you just might end up
finding something better.
