i hope that maybe the reason i struggle to find peace
is because im feeling the pain for you.
i would take any pain you feel
and make myself feel it
so you wouldnt have to.
id carry all of the weight you have ever carried and more if it meant you would smile.
id take apart my spine like a puzzle
just to guarantee you happiness for a single moment
i would snap my bones like candy canes and let the shards fall at your feet
if i got to see you laugh.
i just hope that you sleep okay.
