you were like
that moment when you're on your way home
from a bangin' concert in Chicago
and you stop at a random hot dog place and
you're about to eat,
you can already taste the salt and grease on
your fingertips
but there are no fries.
they forgot your fries.
in other words,
a disappointment.
He was like turning around and
going back to the restaurant for your fries
and the staff apologizes profusely and gives you
not only fries, but
cheese sauce to dip them in
and a milkshake
for free.
in other words,
a reward,
for the inconvenience.
