Having offered him my home so he would be in from the heavy harsh snow that would fall every few days and blanket up high to block exit from my door. Geralt and I had gotten to know each other some. We have made love and took down some trolls as well as other creatures that meant harm to us.

Since he left that day after we made love endlessly the night before, and he had to turn around and come back since the snow was getting too heavy to tread through for Roach. I told him he could put her in the stable where she would have room to roam should she want to and where there were some lamb and chickens that wouldn't bother her. He had been changing moods around me.

Some days he would be loving and other days he would be a right down ass. I would get him to talk to me and share stories and cuddle with me only for him to brush me aside and move my hand away from him when I go to reach out and touch him.

I never understood what it was I did wrong unless me falling for him is so ungodly for him. But I feel as the feels ate mutual yet he is trying to be an asshole so that my feeling for him will turn to hate. But I can't shut my feels off and on in a blink of an eye.

"You don't get to be this way with me Geralt, I know what you're trying to do and regardless of what happens or will happen, my feelings for you will be the same," I tell him as we laid in bed the next day after having passionate intimacy that we both loved. Only for him to turn cold towards me.

"You doesn't get it," he tells me "what is it that I don't get exactly?" I questioned " I fell in love with someone already," he said and I said nothing, just bit my lower lip and looked down before I turned my head to look away and fought the tears.

"I loved her and she used me," he said. I closed my eyes willing my self not to cry but it was no use. I looked back over at him not caring that he sees me crying. "So you think I will be like her, that I would use you for my pleasures and cast aside your needs, feels, and desires for my own?"

When he said nothing I knew that is exactly what he thinks. "Nice to know me being humble, generous, nice, caring, and passionate with some who I thought wouldn't be so incompatible to what I thought he would be. Fool of me to think that.

I stood up and wiped my eyes. before taking a deep breath and collected myself. "Don't worry your little witcher head none, I won't bother you ever again. the whole time you are here with me till this snow lets way. I will be out of your hair, you will hardly see me, and I won't ask you of anything."

With that said I walked off to my bathroom where I had left my shoes the night before slipped them on then went and grabbed a wolf pelt and wrapped it around me before I walked out and headed out the window since the door was barricaded with snow.

I headed towards the stable and checked on the animals making sure they had enough food and water before I headed off to the back of my house where I had left my building project untouched since the witcher arrived.

I got my self busy with clearing the snow and got all the supplies I had in the back out and started back on building the shed that I would need.

That was until I was grabbed and pinned to the ground. I looked up and seen witcher above me. "What do you want?" I asked "You... I know I have been an ass with you and you don't deserve it. I know I have been changing moods with you. One minute making love with you the next cold as ice. I am sorry."

I huffed in annoyance "you are sorry, funny how you couldn't say that when you were doing me the way you were or comparing me and thing of me how you did. I am not whoever that child is that broke you and made you lose faith in love. But you never gave me a chance to show you that, you just judged and let that be the case."

He sighed and leaned down and started kissing me. My brain was screaming know but my heart was loving every minute of it and telling me I forgive him and that he wouldn't do this to me anymore. that he won't hurt me.

"I love you and I will forever love you, please let's go inside and get warmed up, I will cook for you and we can go from there."

I said nothing just nodded, he got up and helped me up. I went and collected my things putting them together before I followed him back into the house and shut the window.

We talked and made up while he cooked for us then after we bathed we made endless love till daybreak.
