Can't wait to be with my girls

The night before Sy was to deport back off to Iraq for another Deployment we was making love and he swore he would knock me up and he did.

I found out I was pregnant a week after he left. I wanted so badly to video chat him but I didn't in case he was out in the field or handling his guys on the base.

So when he video called me I shared the news and he was thrilled. He shout in excitement and when his men came to see what was wrong he looked at them and told them what was going on and they are cheered and wolf whistled and congratulated him.

I smiled as I looked at my husband while he wiped the tears from his eyes as I showed him a recent ultrasound that said hello daddy, I am your baby girl.

I placed the picture down and looked back at him.

"I can't wait to be with my girls," he said

"I know baby, but we need you to take care of your self and deal with all the issues you are in charge of then come home to us," I tell him

"I will baby I promise you I will" he swore.

I nodded knowing he would do all he could do to deal with his job as well as make sure he was alive so he could come home to his girls.

"So what do you think of the name Anastasia?" I asked

"It's not Texas enough," he said

"Well she isn't gonna be born in Texas she will be born in Louisana" I joked

He looked and me and shook his head.

"Not if I have anything to do with it," he said

"Oh yeah?" I asked

He just nodded.

I went to say something but someone walked in and told him he was needed so he told me he loved me and I said I loved him too before he hung up.

I laid in the hospital bed in the Dallas hospital holding  Faith Syverson.

I heard my phone going off so I grabbed it while Faith was feeding.

"Hello" I greeted when Sy video called me.

"Baby, you ok?" He asked and I saw Panic in his eyes.

"Yea, I am sorry about that. I was in labor and having painful contractions" I explained the reason why I was quick to end our phone call twenty hours ago.

"What?" he asked

I smiled and moved the phone to show him Faith who was now laying on top of my breast covering it some.

I heard a slight sob so I moved the camera back up so I could see him.

"I am so sorry I wasn't there for you through any of that," he said as he quickly wiped his eyes.

"It's ok, I am fine, I told you everything that was said during the doctor visits. and trust me I understand why you couldn't experince any of this with me. But I know that you will be back home soon and will be very happy to experince being a daddy" I tell him

"I love you so much baby, and I can't wait to come home."

I smiled

"We both love you Sy," I tell him and he smiles.

" She is just like you in every way," I tell him

"Yea?" he asked beaming happily at the phone.

"She has your eye color, she has your determination,she has your strength, your nose, your cleft, and hair."

"What happened?" he asked

"I almost lost her," I said not wanting to turn a happy time into a bad.

"How?"

I bite my lip as tears filled my eyes and I told him. I blinked the tears and the slid down my cheeks.

"But she is ok now right?" he asked as he too cried.

"Yea, she is perfectly fine" I promised.

He wiped his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief.

"can I see her again, before I go?"

I looked down and smiled seeing her eyes open so I softly moved her so she was laying on my chest and facing the camera.

 "Hello beautiful, I am your daddy, I can't wait til lI get to come home and see you. I love you with all my heart" he said as he looked at our baby girl.

" Faith," I said

He looked up at me.

"I like it" he replied

I smiled and kissed the top of Faith's head.

"I can't wait to come home to you both, but till I do I have to deal with this place over here," he said.

"I know and it's like I said we understand. so please Sy take care of your self and come home safely to us" I said

He nodded his head.

"I love you both make sure you give her hugs and kisses for me"

I nodded my head

"I love you too and so does she," I said.

We hung up and I fixed my gown and placed a now sleeping Faith in the little bed that they had by my bed for her.

When Sy was given honorable discharge he all but raced home almost getting caught by a cop for speeding. He told me and I laughed then kissed him some more before Faith's cries filled the air.

"You go clean up while I go to her then I will formally introduce the two of you," I tell him and give him a quick peck before taking off to Faith's room.

I held her to my chest as she hungrily ate.

"Wow, she is beautiful."

I looked up seeing my husband freshly showered and he shaved a little not much, knowing how much I like his face beard.

"She is isn't she," I said and reached my hand out for him.

He walked over and knelt between my legs after grabbing my hand and never took his eyes from our baby girl.

"She eats like you" I joked

He looked up at me and smiled before he carefully leaned up and over her and fisted my hair and kissed me roughly yet passionately.

I smiled and creased his face when he pulled back.

"I am home for good, no more deployment for me," he tells me.

"Good, casue I want more babies from you," I tell him.

He smiled then looked back at Faith before he moved back a little while I shifted her around to my other breast and she latched on.

"Yea she eats like me," he said as I fixed my shirt and held her.

He softly trailed his finger along her cheek and she reached for him so he placed his finger against her palm and her little hand closed around his finger.

"See she knows who daddy is already," I tell him as he leans down and softly kisses her careful not to mark him with his beard. But she isn't bothered at all by it.

Since coming back home Sy has been a major hands-on dad, I hardly do anything. He wakes at night to check on her, or to rock her to sleep, change her dirty diaper, read her stories. While I feed her and pick out her outfits which he dresses her in.

 I don't complain at all cause I know this is his way of being a hands-on dad and making up for not being there through the whole pregnancy.
