Home birth

I wasn't planning on having a home birth but with things being crazy in this world right now there was no way I would risk having mine and Walt's baby in the hospital and us catch what the hell was making the world lose their mind.

So when the first wave of contraction hit I had busied myself with prepping everything. I had towels, scissors for the cord, baby clothes, diaper, plastic bag for the placenta, receiving blanket and towel along with a rag.

I gripped the hell outta the bathroom doorway.

"FUCKKKKKKK" I screamed which Walt heard and he came running to me as I filled up the tub and got it at a very warm temperature.

"What is it? what is wrong?" He asked in panic

"I am in labor and I need your help" I replied and gripped the hell outta the tub rim.

He nodded and stripped outta his sweater before rolling up his sleeves as I stripped down and climbed into the tub and got on my knees.

He knelt down beside me and held my hand as I held my stomach and gripped the hell outta his hand.

"You sure you don't wanna go to the hospital, I will use my sirens"

I looked at him

"I will not allow us or our baby to catch this virus that is making *winches in pain* this world lose their minds."

He nodded in understanding

"contracts have began being five minutes apart so here in a bit I am gonna push as hard as I can so I need you to reach between my legs and feel for our baby's head" I explained

I bite my lip and gripped the tub as I prepped for another contraction while he reached one hand down and waited.

I was pushing so much my face was a beet red, I was panting,sweating, crying. Just a total mess

"Crowning" Walt said

I looked at him took a real deep breath before I pushed as hard as I could.

"Doing so good baby, keep going" he praised and coached me

I listened and did as he said relying on him so much right now.

 He dropped his hand from mine and reach down to join his other hand while I grabbed the receiving blanket and pushed more.

"Shoulders are out.

"I panted and gasped for air before I fisted the blanket in my hands as the pain in my knees worsened but I ignored it as I grunted and pushed with every single ounce of energy I hand till I head a slit plop and then I looked and seen Walt holding our baby.

She had a set of lungs in her little body. She was screaming so loud.

I dropped and collapsed against the tub after he cut the cord and placed our baby girl in the revising blanket I held.

I looked at her as I laid her against my chest calming her down which made her stop screaming. I smiled before kissing her messy forehead.

I didn't care she had blood on her, I was overjoyed that she is here.

I looked up at Walt and seen him smiling.

"How does it feel?"

He looked at me a little confused

"you delivered our baby."

He grinned and teared up.

I smiled and slowly sat up and kissed him

"amazing" he finally said before he gently took her while I slowly stood as I delivered the placenta and after birth.

After I dealt with that and cleaned the tub. I went and grabbed the nasal clean device and cleaned our baby girl's nose and made sure everything was going well before Walt cleaned her up while I cleaned myself up being careful since I was so sore.

Once the two of us were dressed I had called a baby doctor friend of mine and asked her to come over. I explained what happened and told her that I wasn't about to risk Kylie or any of us getting the virus.

Once my friend morgan checked Kylie over and told us that she was healthy and that everything looked perfect with her before she checked me and told me what I already knew about the waiting six weeks she left after I paid her two hundred and fifty dollars for her helps which she tried to deny but I told her that she and he babies need all they can get.

After she left I fixed my short and Walt handed over a very fussy Kylie. I smiled and cooed at her before bring her close to my chest and watched as she took right to breastfeeding, with a little guidance from her daddy.

"I really can't thank you enough for helping me," I tell Walt as I look up at him seeing he was knelt in front of me and Ky and looking at Ky as she ate before looking at me and smiled.

"It was my pleasure and I would do it all over again," he said before he kissed me then leaned down and kissed Ky's cheek before he brushed his finger over her cheek.
