Can't sleep

I tossed and I turned trying my hardest to sleep but with Charles not beside me it was no use.

So I moved the covers from my body stood up and carefully as well as quietly so I don't wake our babies. I head out of our bedroom and go to where Charles is doing something.

I sat beside him and curl up against him. He uses one arm to wrap around me.

"Couldn't sleep?" he askes

"I never can without you by me" I replied

He kisses my temple then goes back to what he is doing.

"After I finish going over these war plans then I will come to bed, so go on and get back into bed" he tells me.

I sigh and stand up before leaning down and turning his head to me and pecking his lips then walk off back to bed.

Not long after that Charles walked in and strips down to nudeness and climbs into bed with me wrapping me up in his arms and laying so that I am laying over him so that my nightgown covered his lower region should anyone bother us. 

Our kids were not old enough to do anything, so we had no worries about them coming into the room in the middle of the night.

I kissed his chest and then looked up and he cupped my face brushing his thumb back and forth over my cheek before leaning in me meeting him halfway and kissed me. 

I smiled and pecked his lips over and over before I pecked his lips again and lingered.

He chuckled a bit.

I pulled back and laid my head right back down on his chest and just relaxed.

He rubbed my back as we talked for a bit.

Then after having multiple discussions I finally had fallen asleep.
