I didn't take him (part two)

Its been some time now since I had found Kal alone in the park and took him in, then found out who he belongs to and chewed his owner's ass out for being a complete ass.

in that time frame, I had received individual roses with no note or hint of who they have came from.

I did however recently get a text from Kal's owner Henry asking if we could meet up that he would really like to apologize.

I agreed and told him when and where to meet me. which is my place so that there are no risk of that paps catching us together then snapping pictures and do their whole "Henry with a mystery woman" drama shit they just love to do.

I had just walked down the stairs when someone knocked on my door. 

"Coming" I called out

I walked over peeked in the peephole and seen Henry so I unlocked my door and opened it and seen he brought Kal.

"Awe look at you," I said as I knelt and was greeted with face licks as I scratched and ruffled Kal's fur before standing up and moving back to allow them inside then shut the door behind them as Henry took Kal off his lead the one I purchased for him.

"So what can I do for you Mr.Cavill?" I asked

"Please just call me Henry," he said

I nodded and walked over rubbed Kal's fur a bit before motioning Henry to follow me as I walked into the living room and sat on my couch.

He sat facing me so I moved so I was facing him.

"I want to apologize again for my accusation. I had no right accusing you of dog knapping Kal when it's my fault I lost him" he states

I looked at him a little confused

"I was had him off his lead which generally he follows me and I bent to tie my shoe before tripping and the next thing I know Kal is gone and I panicked thinking the worse. and instead of being nice and all to you I was a total jerk and I deserved you calling me an asshole."

I nodded my head in agreement.

"I want to thank you for caring and providing for Kal as well as buying a lead and other things for him. Which he now only eats the food you bought him and only eats out of the bowls."

I smiled and looked at Kal who laid his self at Henry and my feet. I looked back up at Henry and waited to see if he anything else to say.

"I know them single roses wouldn't buy your action, but I wanted to send them to you as a form of thanks" he clarifies

"How did you know purple and pink are my favorite roses?"

"I didn't actually I just guessed," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well you hit it right on," I tell him

He smiled and dropped his hand.

"Why didn't Kal have a tag on his collar that day?"

"I was having one made for him."

I nodded my head and kept looking at him.

"I hope you can seriously forgive me for beeing and asshole to you when you took my bestfriend in and cared for him, you loved him and never harmed him."

"I am agaisnt animal abuse" I clairfy

"As am I" he replied

"I am sorry for calling you an asshole, I was just pissed that you falsely accused me as if I was some predator who would just kidnap Kal just for ransom or who he belongs to. I had no idea he was yours or his name till I saw your flyer you had around town and I came back home and said his name having him sit which he did."

"No please don't apologize you had every right to call me and asshole casue to you I was and I was letting myself get carried away that day. And I know it's no excuse but when I could find Kal for the amount of time you had him before I posted the flyers around town I was scared, I freaked out and when you called and told me you had him I didn't handle it rationally I handled it ignorantly."

I chuckled a bit while nodding.

"I'll say."

He smiled and agreed with me.

He kept apologizing until I placed my finger on his lips to make him stop and told him I forgive him.
