I am not gonna get into it with you

I am was watching Kal while Henry was in Switzerland filming for the second season of The Witcher. When He called me and asked me to get Kal ready and take him to the airport where someone was to pick him up and take Kal to him.

So I did as he had asked. And when I got there and seen who it was that was the person that was to get Kal I got a gut instinct to not allow them to have him. It was just something wasn't sitting right with me and I wasn't about to allow the person to take Kal and something happens to him.

So I called Henry

"Hello" he answered

"Hey, I was calling to tell you that I am at the airport with Kal but I am not handing him over to the person that you want to take him," I tell him.

I heard him sigh

"Why not, it's their job to pick him up from you so he can come here to where I am and be with me," he said/asked.

"Well, I dont feel comfortable with them taking Kal," I tell him.

"Are you serious right now?" he asked

"What?" I asked

"Your not wanting to send Kal to me and you know how much I want/need him with me."

"I never said that or implied that" I stated.

"You said you don't feel comfortable with the person I hired to come and get him then bring him to me where he belongs."

I sighed and hung up not about to deal with that. I turned off my phone and headed towards the plane that was the one Kal was to board and talked with the pilot and sat Kal and myself situated while the pilot taxied us down the runway before taking off.

When we arrived where Henry was filming. I asked the pilot to please give me his number so when I return they could take me home. Which he told me there will not leave till I am back on the plane. Since that was the arrangement that was made.

I got in the car that was there waiting and I  got Kal in before me before I got in and we were taken where it was to whoever it was we were to meet.

"We are here ma'am," the driver said

"thank you, please wait I will be back, promise not to be too long," I tell him

"It's ok ma'am I am scheduled to take you back to the airport anyways" he informs me.

I thanked him and climbed out held on to Kal's leash and got him out and shut the door right as Lauren walked up.

"Hey how are you?" she greeted with a smile which I returned.

"I am good, came to bring Kal to Henry, But I would like if you would take him from here and give him to Henry if you will," I said

She nodded her head and I handed her over Kal's leash and squatted down and ruffled Kal's fur.

"Be a good boy and don't give your dad any trouble," I tell him and get kisses from him.

I smiled and stood up.

"Also please if you will, Don't tell Henry I brought him" I requested

"Alright," she said

I waved bye to Kal as Lauren walked off with him. I went and got into the car and left.

I turned my phone one and deleted all messages and voicemails from Henry not wanting to deal with that.

Whenever he called I ignored, whenever he face-timed I declined.

I did see one text that said  " why are you ignoring me?" which I just left on seen.

I was in the bedroom when I walked out of my closet and seen Henry there.

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"I had some time off so I came to see why you're ignoring me" he replied

"Where is Kal?"

"He is out back."

I nodded and walked around him and went to straighten up the bed.

"Well, are you going to answer me?"

I sighed and stood straight and looked at him.

"I don't wanna fight with you" I stated

"We won't fight" he stated

"I know how much you love Kal, I know what he means to you. And that is why I wouldn't give him over to that person who was supposed to pick him up."

"They were hired to pick him up and bring him to me"

"I understand that. But I didn't feel right giving him over to them. I felt..."

"Uncomfortable, yeah I know."

I shook my head and went back to fixing the bed.

"What?"

"I am not gonna get into it with you," I tell him

"We won't get into it" he assured me

"You don't believe me or you don't trust me," I said

"And what makes you think that?"

"I told you how I felt about handing Kal over and you don't believe me you seriously thought I was refusing to hand Kal over casue I didn't want him to go to you. like I am a heartless or selfish bitch."

I stood back up and looked at him.

"I know that there are people out there that would take Kal and hold him for ransom knowing how much you love and need him. How big of a bond the two of you have. and they would use him to get whatever ridiculous amount they would request. So me being your girlfriend or whatever I am to you right now... I am not even sure after this.  & knowing how much Kal means to you and how much you need him, I boarded that plane and took him to you. Well Lauren casue I didn't want to face you after you said what you, had when I told you what I did."

"I am sorry for what I had said, I know that you know how much he means to me and how much I need him."

"You don't know what I felt when you said that to me."

"I am sure the hanging up on me said enough."

I huffed in annoyance while shaking my head.

"I hung up not wanting to fight with you while I was surrounded by people."

Nothing was said between the two of us after spoke.

"where did you find them ...the people who was to pick up Kal?"

"Online."

"Did you run a background check or do basic off the street hiring?"

"Basic."

I sighed but said nothing.

"Alright, I am not gonna talk about this anymore. so are you hungry, if not let me know"

He said nothing for a while so I nodded and walked out the bedroom door and headed downstairs and started on dinner after I greeted Kal and washed my hands.
