(CHARA POV)

Did that flower look at me? What happened? Why was her SOUL the same color as mine? We are back in the flowers. Is that what it's like to RESET?
*Gasp* "Frisk wake up!" I quickly fixed up her leg again which woke her up pretty fast.
"Hey! What was that for?" I felt bad for being aggressive.
"I didn't mean to hurt you, but it appears we have gone back to the flower bed and your leg was still broken. What happened?"
"I don't know but you are freaking out here dude, don't pop a blood vessel."
"Well for starters, I don't have any." I gestured down to my ethereal body. "And I think freaking out is the best response for having the world pull a fast one on us."
"Fair 'nuff. Let's go check out that flower again."
"Sounds like a plan." We walked down the corridor and into the room and Flowey says the same. Exact. Thing. Except, this time, my SOUL doesn't show up. How peculiar. Frisk's SOUL is then bombarded by bullets while I'm lost in thought. But before I can push her out of the way, they collide. Frisk seemed almost lifeless, as if she just got shot through the stomach. She keeled over and started coughing up blood. Ouch. if only I had got her out of the way in time. I know how that feels, to get your soul blasted with bullets. She started to shake.
"Frisk!" I shouted, the flower couldn't hear me. "Are you all right?" She can't respond. Suddenly that pile of yellow-pedaled cowshit, Flowey piped up, shouting with a distorted smile:
"You FOOL. In this world, it's kill... Or be killed! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha— Now die, human." Bullets closed in around her. Out of the air a familiar fire ball appeared and struck Flowey. Is t-that mom?
. . .

Toriel Dreemurr, my mom, was a very intimidating monster. Standing at nearly 7 feet tall, she was a very intimidating force of nature. She superficially resembled a Goat, much like the rest of the Dreemurr family (Myself excepted), but with paws instead of hooves. Unlike dad, she was intimidating not because of her physical prowess, no, she was scary because of her magical abilities. Luckily, she was kind hearted and nurturing, and I look forward to Frisk meeting her. One thing that caught me off guard, however, was that...
Mom lives here? All the way back in the Ruins? This place was abandoned way before I fell down here. Why would she be living here? I mean, I passed through here once to get all the way to new home but... Anyway, I helped frisk up, slowly as to not arouse suspicion of my existence because that seems to reset the world and stuff. Mom started to talk.
"Are you ok, my child? What a miserable creature, that flower, praying on innocent children. My name is Toriel." It's so nice to hear her voice.
     "I'm f-fine, thanks. I'm Fr-Fri—"
     "Oh!" She gasped in astonishment.
I guess she passed out. Mom carries her all the way to her house which is so similar to the one we lived in when I was 5. I waited until Frisk woke up, being lost in thought. Frisk is so cute when she's sleeping. I still don't know why I feel this way, it's like... I-I don't know. I think I like her, but we just met about an hour ago, so I don't know why I feel like this, but I'm sure it won't last. There's something that feels off when I'm around her. Like, it's as if I was looking at my reflection, if I focus hard enough. I definitely feel stronger the closer I am to her, but... no, that has to be it. This isn't a crush or anything, it's just... it's just whatever magic that made me wake up again. Speaking of waking up, Frisk started to stir before waking up and getting all flustered.
"W-where am I? Was I a-asleep? And more importantly, w-were you watching m—" I cut her off with a smile.
"Mornin' sleepyface, welcome to the underground. And no, I was not peeping at you, I was minding my own over here, it wouldn't be courteous of I took advantage of your situation, now would it, Frisk? Boop~" I booped her on the nose to accentuate my point. Her face turned a lovely shade of pastel pink and she made an adorable pouty face.
"Okay. One, what is the underground? Two, why does it smell like a petting zoo and pie? And three, who was the nice goat lady?" Hmmph, guess she's got just as many questions as I do.
"*Ahem* One, the underground is a large cavernous civilization underneath Mt.Ebott, Two because a goat who makes pie lives in the house, and Three, the people who live here in the underground are called monsters, and they come in all shapes and sizes imaginable. Did I answer our questions, Frisk?"
"Yeah, but the whole monster thing is going to take a while to get used to." From the downstairs, we hear mom shouting:
"Excuse me, but do you want some pie?"
