(FRISK POV)

sans took a shortcut out of the bar. I genuinely don't know how to respond.
"*Sigh* I guess I'll just put the drinks on his tab." Grillby said. "Again."
"Does this usually happen?"
"Sometimes. sans is one of... he's prone to 'catching the feels' as the children call it. This happens when him or Papyrus talk about their brother. He supposedly died."
"Supposedly?"
"You two were talking about him as if he was alive, no?" He adjusted his glasses.
"Hmm... thanks for the hospitality, Grillby."
"Oh, thank you for your politeness, human."
"It's Frisk." I got up from my seat.
"Nice to finally meet you, Frisk. Have a good day."
"You as well!" I walked out of Grillby's. Welp, no use avoiding it now, I guess I have to go see Gerson Boom. I headed out back to waterfall. sans wasn't there. I have to keep going.
I walked into the water garden filled with echo flowers.
"Royal Brothers Memorial" The plaque wrote. Chara and I had passed this place a few times during our time together. I've always wondered what memories these flowers hold. The room was a large natural cavern, and wooden pathways crisscrossed over glowing waters, and the black earth sparkled with glowing moss. Pink and blue crystals hung from the ceiling, reflecting a soft light over the area. It was a serene place to stay and wander for hours. Other monsters seem to have the same idea, because there were a few people roaming the garden as well.
Near the entrance, there was a flower that seemed bigger than all the rest, and it had a sign in front of it. "The beginning." The beginning, huh? This seems like a good place to start.

I think I'll listen to what they have to say.
