Tra la la, the one long forgotten is remembered by nought but the shadows.

(🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲 POV)

When I regained consciousness for the first time, there was nothing but pure darkness surrounding me.

At first... It was comforting, soothing the pain my body faced from experiencing constant inexistence... I was broken.

What I knew as me was shattered across space and time. I was everywhere, experiencing everything. All at once. It was so overwhelming for a fraction of a second until I adjusted. I was nowhere, experiencing nothing. All at once.

I reflexively went to grab for my notepad, but there was nothing. I couldn't feel... I couldn't think... it's like the darkness was seeping into my skull through the cracks.

There's so much nothing here. Too much nothing. It's so... I'm so full of nothing, that the nothing might spill over... then I'll be empty.

It was gentle and numbing all at the same time. Like a blanket, it soothed my tired being. Promising an eternity without pain. An eternity of MERCY.

All of this is irrelevant. I need to figure out what happened. Was it a skirmish with the humans? It would explain why I feel so horrible.

No... The war is over. I... I was born centuries after the war...

Why do I remember it so clearly, then?

Think... Wing Ding, Think...

I experienced every memory I've ever had, all at once. It's all... tangled in itself. I can make out what I need to know... I have to think... it's so hard to think... The lab.

I remember. I couldn't have been there to experience the memory, but the black hole closed after I had fallen in. That's what this place is.

A black hole.

I've been ripped away from the world by my own hubris. My lust for red magic has torn me to shreds, and left me to rot in the nothing between everything.

I'm forgetting. The memories are spilling out to make room for the endless darkness... I can't forget. The empty has to make room for something. How? howhowhowhowhow? The void. This... VOID around me can hold my memory for me.

I charged the area around me with memories. I couldn't remember them all at once so I let the inky blackness show me them. It was a puppet show of dark tendrils, dancing in the area around me to show what happened.

I'm not only remembering what happened during my life, but also everything before then. I saw the creation of the universe, crafted by the Fox Gods themselves, all the way past the moment I fell into the black hole.
