(FRISK POV)

I woke up. Alone. Who was sans talking about? Gerson... something. Oh well, I'll figure it out when I get there. But I should get moving, I want to get there before mid-afternoon. I paid the front counter for my stay and left.
"Have a good day!" She smiled back and waved.
"You as well!" I walked until I hit the edge of waterfall. It's good to see someone cleaned up my blood from the snow, not like I was doing it myself. My mind wandered back to what sans said about red color magic... or colour magic, I'm not sure how he spelled it. The ability to manipulate reality to my will. And all I have to do is be determined enough to make it happen. I looked down on my leg. The anti-psych patch is still there.
I hate having to pay attention to that part of me. I dont want it to even exist. But here I am, talking about how I need this small fabric square one my leg to keep from me becoming a god amongst man... or monster. As far as I know I—
"hey, kid." sans scowled at me from his hotdog stand.
"Ugh, listen, sans, I've got my patch on and I've already told you I dont want to—"
"that's not what i want to talk to you about."
"Okay? But one things bothering me."
     "hmm?"
"I thought you worked as a Snowdin sentry." He smiled and shrugged.
"what? haven't you seen a guy with two jobs before?" . . . "no words, huh? fortunately, two jobs means twice as many legally-required breaks. how i treat you to lunch at grillby's? i have a few questions, if you don't mind."
     "I-uh, sure!"
"well, if you insist... i'll pry myself away from my work..." and with no warning at all, he was suddenly in front of me. He started to walk deeper into waterfall.
"Wait, sans this is the wrong way, Grillby's is back there." He winked one of his eye sockets.
"don't worry, kiddo. i know a shortcut." I shrugged and followed him. For an instant, I thought I saw a faint purple glow around me, but, I couldn't be sure. Also where is sans? Where am I? sans was gone, and I was in an empty hallway with a grey door on one of the walls. I tried to look behind me. It seemed as if a dense, black cloud prevented me from moving further. Alright universe, I'll take the hint. I opened the grey door. Inside the room was a grey floor with no walls, and an endless inky black void that seemingly stretched on for eternity. It's almost as if—
"The darkness was staring back." There was a skeleton in the middle of the room now. Wait. H— "How did I know what you are thinking? You are in this zone where thoughts have little meaning. Space, time, SAVE point, it's all irrelevant."
"SAVE point? So you know about red magic?" He let out a slight chuckle.
"I basically invented it. It's what got me here. And now the next incarnate of DETERMINATION falls the same fate I did. Irony hasn't seemed to lose its charm."
"What do you mean? I can leave anytime I want."
"Well, at least you think you can." The skeleton started laughing. "Time and space hold no bond over this world. Over this... VOID." I looked behind me and the door was gone!
"What did you do?" He held up his hands, his cloak made of the same black goo that Chara leaks sometimes.
"HAHAHA! I didn't do anything. The VOID is a one way trip, And don't try SAVEing or LOADing either. Your red magic doesn't work here." Suddenly, the skeleton hunched over, he took a sharp inhale as if he was in pain.
"A-are you okay?" He stood back up.
"Sorry about that. This place can leave me... unhinged at times."
     "I... understand how that feels."
"Ah, I see. Your SOUL is very interesting." My...
    "What do you mean?"
"Your Honoris Insanium, it's a product of an imbalance within your SOUL TRAITS."
     "SOUL TRAITS?"
"What do you say human, up for another science lesson?"
