"This is Madam Florence's classroom. This is where you'll learn your magical knowledge and academics, but don't worry if you feel like you're completely lost. Everyone in the class is kind and will help you with anything. And," Uriela slightly hid her face under her hat. "I'll be in this class with you, so you can ask me anything whenever."

"I appreciate that because I know nothing about any of this." I walked over to the chalkboard and looked at the formulas that the teacher left behind. There were some symbols that I have never seen, but as skimmed over I saw one that I immediately recognized. It was the omega with an x inside it. "Hey Uriela, what is this symbol?"

"Oh, that's the symbol of Jophiel, the God of the Sun and Head of the Holy Five. What do you know about Jophiel?"

"Not much. Father Alric, the man that took care of me, Julia, and the other orphans that we lived with, would have us attend his sermons and he always spoke about him. Just seeing that symbol reminds me of him." I stared at the symbol for a little longer. I wonder how the old man is doing, probably worrying about us. "Alright Uriela, show me what's next."

"Right this way then." Uriela floated away to our next destination. "So uh, James, where are you from?"

"I'm from Rocksteady. What about you?" I asked back.

"I'm from a small village up in the mountains to the northeast. It's too small for it to be on the map." She replied.

"Is it a village of witches?"

"Yes and no, there's actually one witch in our village, and it's my mother. People go to her for medicinal remedies since our village is so far from other cities and villages."

"Then how did you get into this academy?"

"Head Mistress is an old friend to my mother, so when I turned eight and my magic came, she called Head Mistress, and I've been here ever since. We're at our next stop." She stopped in front of a huge doorway that leads into a massive courtyard. There were a lot of students outside reading books, studying, or practicing their magic. I could already tell that I was gonna be here a lot. "This is the Training Yard. Here is where you'll practice your magic and as you can see it gets pretty crowded during this time."

"Hey, watch out!" someone shouted towards us, and there was a fireball hurtling towards. Before I could even think I slammed my hands down and summoned up a wall in front of us. The fireball crashed into my wall but didn't make it budge. The gash on my chest throbbed as I staggered to get back up to the point that Uriela had to help me.

Damn. If I keep getting hit and moving like this, the wound isn't gonna heal any faster. Maybe I'll have a nurse see what they can do with this.

"Are you okay James?" Uriela tried to put her hand on my chest, but I flinched back.

"I have a big wound on my chest, and it still hasn't fully healed. But I wasn't gonna let a fireball hit us." I gasped out as I straightened myself and saw a boy run up to us.

"Hey, you two, I'm so sorry are you guys hurt?" the boy asked us worriedly.

"No, we aren't, I was able to block the fireball with a wall," I told the boy.

The boy stared at me for a moment, and then something clicked in his head, and he jumped back in fear. "You're Rock Arm!"

"Rock Arm?" Uriela looked at the boy with a similar confused face as mine.

By the Five, please don't tell me that they have already given me a nickname?!

When the boy shouted that all of the kids in the yard looked towards us. I didn't feel comfortable with all these stares looking right at me. I just hope that Julia hasn't gotten this treatment yet. Some of the looks I was getting looked like they wanted a challenge, and in a place like this I'm outclassed in every category. I tried to stand my ground as I ignored the pain in my chest. Those giving me the "challenge me" stares were taunting me trying to agitate me, but I wasn't gonna let it get to me.
