There are four types of mages, each with their own corresponding magic:

Creation, Destruction, Witchcraft, and Enchantment Magic.

Creation Magic

Creation Magic allows the mage to create anything out of the element they are proficient in.

Example: A Sand Creation Mage can use sand to create anything their mind desires.

For a Creation Mage, their options and imagination are unlimited, therefore allowing them to create even the smallest bug up to the biggest building. Though, the only way they can create extremely intricate creations is to know all the details of that certain object or being.

Whenever a Creation Mage casts a spell, they refer to it as a 'Creation' (not a spell).

Example: Whenever James wants to cast out a creation, he'll say: "Earth (object or creature) Creation," such as "Earth Falcon Creation."

Destruction Magic

Destruction Magic is similar to Creation Magic in the sense that the mage can only use the element they're proficient in to attack. However, they can only use that element in its original form to attack, not create.

Example: A Wood Destruction Mage would use a nearby tree and wood logs to attack their opponent. For further detail, if they use a tree, they can only make it swing its branches to attack, they cannot make the tree deform itself to their will.

So, these kinds of mages have to be creative in the way they use their spells. Whenever a Destruction Mage wants to cast a spell out, they'll call it a spell.

Example: Whenever Julia wants to attack, she'll say: "Soul (name of attack) Spell," such as "Soul Arrow Spell."

Witchcraft Magic

Witchcraft Magic allows the mage to use both Creation and Destruction magic of one element.

Example: A Water Witch has the ability to create anything they can out of water, and also destruct anything using water. So, they can use water to both create a water barrier for defense, and also create sharp water arrows as a separate spell to attack.

Witchcraft Magic is less common than the first two and by far the hardest magic to master. Witches—a term used for both male and female witchcraft mages—need absolute control whenever they use their magic because, to them, it's like flipping a very finicky switch; they have to carefully decide when to use Creation Magic versus Destruction Magic, just like a switch.

When a Witch learns to control this 'switch,' they can be very formidable enemies or allies. Most of the public believe Witchcraft Mages are the most powerful, but that is actually not the case. In terms of power, they actually are only able to use 50% of Creation and Destruction magic. No one knows as to why these mages can't use the full power of each magic type, but a few Witchcraft Mages have tried to test their magic limits, inevitably draining their magic completely or dying throughout the process of doing so.

Enchantment Magic

Enchantment Magic is the last and the rarest form of magic a person can wield (and for a good reason). This kind of magic allows the mage to turn into whatever material they come into contact with, as well as obtain that object's properties and abilities. This can and will happen the moment their magic first manifests and can lead to deathly consequences depending on the thing they touch.

Example: If an Enchantment Mage touches a boulder, they become a rock man and now have the exact same properties of that rock. So, the mage is unable to move or speak, and there's no way to reverse the magic. Sadly, they are forever a living statue with no way to escape their fate.
