A/N will be trying to upload at least twice a week but won't be pressuring myself to if I don't feel like it. Doing school online is becoming a big struggle so keeping my mind sane has become my priority, I will try my hardest to keep updating. Love you all, thank you for your continued support. Jughead shot up in bed sweating profusely, his heart racing. This had become the normal ever since the horror of the stonewall prep coffin incident. The only nights where we got proper sleep was when his favourite blonde was tucked up in bed with him. He couldn't tell her about his struggles, feeling like she had too much on her plate. She didn't need his troubles too. So as usual, he got out of bed and walked to the stonewall shower room.

"Hey Juggie" Betty smiled, opening the door of the Cooper/Jones residence. He was finally home for the weekend and she couldn't be more thrilled.
"Hey Betts, I missed you" he replied, hugging her tight. She giggled and hugged back, pulling away to kiss him. Their lips caught in a passionate kiss, her hands in his hair and his gripping her waist.
"Get a room!" Jellybean called out. "Oh we will" Jughead smirked, grabbing Betty's hand and taking her upstairs. As soon as they reached her room he closed the door and pressed her against it, kissing down her neck.

"Juggie..." she breathed out, tugging at his hair.
"I would Betts...but JB's home" he complained, pulling away and smirking at the hickeys he had left.
"As soon as they're gone, we're continuing this" she spoke sternly before sitting down on the bed.  "Yes ma'am" he joked.
"Okay movie marathon? Your dad went to get Pop's food for us" she smiled, holding up her laptop.
"This is why I love you" Jughead laughed, laying down next to her.

The couple had been watching movies for a while now, both having eaten more food than they probably could handle. "Pop's food is so addictive, I wish I could live off of it" Betty whined, looking over at Jughead. She giggled when she saw he was asleep, kissing his cheek softly. She got up and picked up all of the food containers, taking them downstairs to throw away. Meanwhile, Jughead had begun to shift around in his sleep, going to the darkest place in his mind where his worst thoughts were concealed. All of a sudden he was back in the hard wood coffin, pounding his fist on the surface just trying to alert anyone. No one came, he was losing oxygen and slowly giving up. Alone and left to die.

"Juggie! Jug wake up!" he was suddenly brought out of the nightmare, jolting up with wide eyes and a pale face. His head snapped to look at Betty, her face panicked and tears in her eyes. She quickly pulled him into her embrace, running her fingers through his curls as he began to cry. She had been downstairs when she heard him shouting, running into the room to find him shaking and shouting for help in his sleep.  The couple sat there, his shaking body curled up next to her as she soothed him with her voice and her arms around him. She could feel how tensed up he was, placing her hand on his cheek. "Juggie I'm here, I've got you" she spoke softly, caressing his cheek. He couldn't even meet her eyes, too ashamed of himself to face her. She climbed into his lap and wrapped her arms around him, his face going into the crook of her neck as she ran her hand through his raven hair. "Talk to me, tell me what's going on" she pleaded, pressing a kiss to his head.

"I keep feeling like I'm back in that coffin. Whether its closing my eyes, trying to sleep or even just overthinking in my head. My throat tightens like I'm trapped again and it keeps replaying in my mind" he admitted, closing his eyes.

"Oh Jug...why didn't you tell me? I would've helped you" she asked softly, her voice cracking part way through. "I didn't want to worry you, you've got so much to worry about and my stupid sleeping problems aren't relevant right now" he shrugged.

"Hey no, don't say that. I will always worry about you, I want to help Jug. We both have a lot on our plates but that doesn't mean we can't talk to each other okay? You have nothing to hide" she promised, cupping his cheeks.

"I think you should see someone about this, if it's getting so bad" she suggested, her hands going back into his hair. "I will, I'm sorry for hiding it. I love you" he replied, his lips ghosting over hers. "I love you too Jughead Jones"
