Jeongmin Kim (Class 7)

Jeongmin Kim was born on the 7th of October, 1997. He was 16 when he died.

Jeongmin was born to a devoted christian family, being the eldest of three siblings. He didn't have much faith in god, which damaged his relationship with his father a lot, but his relationship with his mother stayed good. Jeongmin played the piano well, and he was great at cooking. He was described as quiet and blunt. He was the class president, and his reaction was just a simple 'I love it'. He spent his time playing games online. Jeongmin had a lot of friends, Seunghwan Kim from the class 6, Subin Lee, Minsoo Kim, Hyuncheol Nam and his best friend, Sangho Kim, all from the same class.

Before the trip, Jeongmin had played a few pieces to his mother on the piano. His mother still keeps playing them from time to time. Jeongmin also had an argument with his father, and didn't say a word to him before leaving.
One of his friends survived, and he had recorded footage on the first day. Jeongmin was seen dancing with his friends at the ferry's disco. It comforted his family.

He was among the missing for a long time, until his body was finally recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Ansan Sky Memorial Park.
