Minkyeong Kwon (Class 9)

Minkyeong Kwon was born on the 6th of April, 1997. She was 17 when she died.

Minkyeong was lived with her mother and two younger brothers because her parents had seperated. She always had to look after her brothers, and eventually developed a good relationship with both of them. She always wanted her mother to care and devote herself more to her kids. Despite all the hardships, Minkyeong loved to make her friends laugh, and happy. Some girls envied her, but she ignored them. Minkyeong loved writing her thoughts as notes.
-When you're really tired, look up to the clear blue sky. Be quiet for a moment.
She also had a bucket list for 2014.
-Give some money to my mother
-Volunteer in Korea, and abroad.
-Watch a movie with my mother.
Minkyeong's ultimate dream was to become a nurse.

She missed her mother, and had written her a sweet note. It has become precious to her mother..the last words of her beloved daughter:

To my mother
Tears are coming when I write this letter
Mom, I'm sorry. That's all
I know being a mom is tough, and I couldn't beat it personally
I look like a crying mother now
Please be my mom in my next life
No matter what happens, I love my mother so much. I miss her daily and love her
By my side, in my soul

Her body was recovered and returned to her family. She was cremated.
