Jimin Lee was born on the 6th of June, 1997. She was 16 when she died.
Jimin was the middle child of three siblings. Jimin had a good relationship with both of her parents, always listening to her mom and letting her father went to her, even when he came home drunk. She loved the color orange since childhood and gained the nickname ''Orange Deokhoo''. She had orange pencil case, orange fan, orange everything. Jimin loved athletics and the manga 'One piece' and her favorite character was ace. Her password to every device was 0101 because it was the date of Ace's birthday. She had a lot of friends, and was the 'mom' of her friend group because she was so kind and caring. Jimin had worked part-time at a local factory so she could save up money and buy new sneakers and a new hoodie for the trip. Her ultimate dream was to become a soldier.
Jimin had her last phone call with her mother. It was just an hour before boarding.
''Orange Deokhoo. You're wearing your seatbelt right? You know it's safe again? Follow the teacher's instructions and remember to take a lot of pictures
''Hahaha I'm sure it'll go well. We're going now.''
She boarded the ferry, feeling like a pirate from One Piece. Her body was recovered and returned to her parents. They got the chance of saying their final goodbyes in peace, as most of the journalists had left already. She now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
''You still seem to be wandering in my dreams.
I hoped it was a dream because I had never prepared my heart to send you, if it was a dream,
Reality hasn't changed,
Thanks to Jimin, I was very happy.
My dear daughter, if I have the next life, I hope that I will be a mother to you again.
Once more I pray earnestly that I will be able to hug and love Jimin more.
I love you forever Jimin. An awful mother who misses you so much..."

Shinhyeon
Remember to hug mom
Your hand that was massaging dad
As my sister's brother's nagging
Your voice that fluttered softly
She was fluttering like a reed
I miss you
A heart that I miss a lot
Bad mom in the field
In my father's heart like the deep sea
It's a child shaking white
Be a great soldier
To keep peace in this land
It bloomed in blue and lightly
I can't even scream like a fool
It was swept away by the wind
The land you took root
Was it such a vain wind?
Red blood flows from the chest.
In the snowy nest field
You only make pretty gestures''Her memorial......
