Chawoong Jeong was born on the 5th of December, 1997. He was 16 when he died.
Chawoong was the youngest of two brothers. He had made a wish during the 31th of December, 2013 ''Please let me have a girlfriend this year!'' Sadly, he didn't get his wish fulfilled. Chawoong dreamed of becoming a man, just like his father and older brother. He cared for his mother, and didn't mind when she didn't buy him the newest trendy clothes, or when she asked him to help her with chores. In general, Chawoong was kind and caring. He was friends with Hyeok Kang. Chawoong was also the class president for that year. He was supposed to go to a trip with his family after returning from Jeju Island. His ultimate dream aside from getting a girlfriend and becoming a man, was to become an animator
Chaewoong's last call with his mother was just before boarding.
"Mom. If I might not be able to call when I'm in there."
"What are you talking about? You have to call!"
"I just arrived at Incheon Port!"
"Yeah. Isn't it exciting? Have fun!"
"Huh!"
"Our Chawoong, have fun?"
"Yes, mom! I love you all!!"
Chawoong was found unresponsive at 10am from the sea. He had given his life jacket to a friend, and jumped to the ocean to help others. Despite their best efforts, Chawoong died of his injuries.
He rests now at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
