Seongwon Jo was born on the 17th of October, 1997. He was 16 when he died
Seongwo was the eldest child, having a younger sister and a younger brother. He cared for them, especially for his brother. He was a mama's boy, and he cared for her the most. His last contact with her was at the port. She was concerned that something migh happen because of the heavy fog, but Seongwo assured her that everything is going to go well. Seongwo was popular at school, and he had a lot of friends. He admired his homeroom teacher, and aspired to become a history teacher, just like him.
His body was recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Ansan Sky Memorial Park
