Ara Kim was born on the 17th of October, 1997. She was 16 when she died

''Slow and steady will win the race'' was written on her desk. Ara in general was very helping and nice to others, barely asking for anything. She didn't need to attend hagwons. She said that it was because her dad majored in chemistry and her mom majored in English, and she inherited their skills. Ara taught English to her classmates after school, and practiced Chinese with Hyangmae Bae. Ara's dream was to become a pharmacist, so she could help others more.

Her body was recovered and returned to her parents. She now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
