Geonwoo Im was born on the 5th of August, 1997. He was 16 when he died.
Geonwoo was the eldest child of his family. He loved his younger brother, but he also loved food, and his mother. He often waited at the door, just to hug her after a day at work. Geonwoo was described as optimistic, imaginative and happy. His motto was ''Let's live doing what we want to do!'' When Geonwoo left for the trip, his mother got this feeling that she needs to see him leave. She watched as he got into the bus, and thought the feeling was a little weird. Geonwoo's dream was to become a lawyer.
His body was recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
