Geunhyung Lee was born on the 14th of November, 1997. He was 16 when he died.

Geunhyung was the middle child, having two older brothers and one younger brother. He cared for her younger brother, because his father was too busy with work. But when their father came home, Geunhyung would run up and hug him and spend the night watching TV with him. Geunhyung was a caring person, and popular at school. He was a part of the brodcasting club along with Subin Lee and Hyuncheol Nam. Geunghyun's best friend was Kangmin Na, and he was also close with Minwoo Lee from class 7. Geunhyun's ultimate dream was to become a science teacher, and he studied hard to achieve his dream.

At 9:30am, Geunhyun's mother got a text from him saying ''I love you'' She thought it was odd and called him
''The ferry has seems to have crashed, it's tilted a little.'' he explained. His last contact was at 9:41am, a text message saying ''I'm going to survive, but we have to wait.''
When the bodies were being retireved, the divers had entered a hallway when they found Geunhyun, embracing his dear friend Kangmin Na. The divers were moved by this, and they had trouble seperating the two for the journey back to the surface.

He now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
