Minjeong Kim was born on the 27th of July, 1997. She was 16 when she died.
Minjeong's best friend was her father, but she lost him too early. She matured too fast as a result, but remained happy and bright. Minjeong wanted to become a doctor, just like her mother. She also wished the world nothing but peace and happiness.
Minjeong got to meet her father in heaven, after years of missing him. Minjeong had also written a letter to her mother in 2012, which remains very precious to her mother:
It's Mother's Day I had fun with my friends on Children's Day I hope my mother is happy on Mother's Day, I'm sorry for my mom because there are more and more things I want to buy and more and more things to buy. Thanks for 16 years of nurturing me so well that I am not ashamed of myself. I'll do well to my mom in the future. I'm so upset because my mom seems to be sick all over the place these days. Whenever I see her in such a situation, I want to quickly become a Korean medicine doctor and make my mother comfortable. Mom, congratulations on Mother's Day and I love you a lot. I hope only good things happen to my mom and me in the future. Minjung ol ♡
Her body was recovered and returned to her family. She now rests at Pyeongtaek Lakeside Memorial Park.
